The price included the door. They were great. They were easy to schedule. It took some time getting everything set up because it took a while to get the door in so that was the delay. They showed up on time and the guy was really nice. They were very helpful.

He came on time at 10AM. I had a contractor wrapping up just before him, so I asked Harry to wait to which he said it's fine and said that he needed to use the restroom. I showed him the restroom and went to wrap up with the other contractor. When I came back in 1-2 minutes, I couldn't find Harry neither inside nor outside the house. So I called him to find out where he is, to which he said that he left without informing me because he has other appointments to take care of!! I was totally surprised and tried to ask him what happened to understand the situation, to which he said 'take care' and hung up on me. Very poor professionalism and I'd never use their service, because if they do this at the point of giving quote I don't know what would happen at the point of actual service.

I went great, anytime I need stuff done around the house in the future they will be the first call.

With the exception of Joe calling off of the initial estimate appointment with late notice due to the stomach flu all went well.

The company sent Harry out to provide us with an estimate of the requested work. He arrived promptly and was very professional. He took measurements and asked us to clarify the scope of work. He was also able to provide us with an estimate with an additional repair job not on the initial request. We did not choose to go with this company due to their distance from our house and a comparable price offer from someone closer. We will definitely consider using Harry and this company in the future should the need arise.

We were having trouble shutting one of our vinyl replacement windows. If the window was open or closed, it fit securely in its track. When we would open or close the window, the top of the window pane on the right hand side became a little loose in its track. We wanted to make sure that the window wasn't damaged. I called RHS and left a message explaining the problem. I heard back from Harry Metzger and he was able to scheduled an appointment for the same week. He arrived on time and gave me his card. Harry took a look at the window and found the problem. There was a slight bowing on the right hand side of the window casing. Harry pointed out the bowing and showed me that it was a small amount -- so small that the insulation still covered the gap between the window pane and the casing. He told me that the window was not damaged. He told me that he would be able to adjust the casing and fix the bowing, but he said that since it was really affecting our use of the window that we might want to save the money and see how it goes.

Joe and his team have completed the work at my house. Frank and Mike who did the work were great and I was very impressed with there attentiveness, professionalism and quality of work. My new storm door looks great and now all my outlets are working properly. The electrical service cables are now properly attached by building code to the exterior facade. I asked Mike to fix a ceiling fan and the kitchen track light the day he showed up and it was not a problem. Everything was done to my expectations and both Mike and Frank completed all the items I asked of them during the walk through. Joe and his team are great guys to work with and I will definitely be contacting them first for any improvement projects in the future.

The job went smooth. They delivered at the promised price. He had initially gotten the wrong price on the plexiglass so that price increased but he straightened it out before we did anything so the job went well. I would use them again.

I called Joe on a Monday morning and explained what I wanted done. In less than an hour Joe was at my house, took measurements, explained things to me and said he would e-mail me an estimate. The next day I received the estimate, called Joe and he scheduled me for the following week and told me the job would take 2 days. Everything worked out fine, including the weather, because the doors had to be trimmed outside. A really nice work crew, responsive and very competent, the type people you want working inside and outside of your home. Two thumbs up - from beginning to end!

We called Reliable Handymen Services for an estimate regarding fixing a water damaged engineered wooden floor in our bedroom and decided to get an estimate for other small jobs, which are mentioned above. The owner, Joe Humli, came promptly and gave us a very fair and accurate estimate. His crew did impeccable work and we were very satisfied with the results. What impressed us the most was the fact that we had contacted several different companies to fix the floor, and every single one of them tried to convince us to replace the floor in the entire bedroom. Joe, on the other hand, did not even flinch when he saw the floor and told us that he could replace only the section that was damaged. Not only was his crew able to replace only the damaged part of the floor, but did so in a way that you cannot even tell that a repair has been done. This saved us a lot of money!

I had my 50 inch plasma TV hung, a heavy slate antique chalkboard hung, and three steps removed and new treads installed and stained to match the existing steps. Frank was my handyman for two days of work, with a partner on the second to help hang my chalkboard that was too heavy for one person to hang on their own. Frank and his partner were punctual and courteous, and made sure that my TV and board were securely fastened to my wall. When I wasn't 100% on the positioning of my TV Frank came back to my house and measured and adjusted the TV and wall mount until it was perfect. My steps are original from my 110 year old house, and I was terrified that the replaced treads wouldn't be a good match, and I was right, they're actually a damned near perfect match. The treads Frank and his partner replaced we're an odd size (1") that is no longer made standard, so Frank planed down a larger tread and rounded the edges so the new steps fit seamlessly into my old steps. The stain that Frank had matched was spot on. He even came back out to put poly on so that the stain could fully set. Overall, my experience with Reliable Handyman Service was excellent, I plan on using them in the future for other projects around my home.

The job was not done. **UPDATE** Now over 19 days since our original call to them, we have not heard from them to resolve this matter. Also both my husband and I heard him say that someone would be out on "Thursday" to measure the bend in the aluminum flashing which needed to be replaced - we stayed in all day to be sure not to miss them.

Excellant! Will use them again in the future for all our handyman work needed in the office!

Wonderful experience, from start to finish. Joe and his crew are professional and low-key with years of experience. They work as a team, get the job done, and do it correctly. Joe is easy to work with -- straightforward, no hard sell, says what he means and means what he says. Punctual, hardworking crew. This was not an easy, straightforward floor install. My house is over 100 years old, and the subfloor was not in the best condition. Joe and his guys made it right and made sure my tile and hardwood floor install was perfect. They are coming back in a few weeks to install a new kitchen window and will be back again to install my kitchen countertops. I interviewed a number of contractors before hiring RHS and so glad I did!

Everything looks fabulous. They are totally professional, and very nice as well! We will definitely be contacting them again.

I found Reliable Handyman Services on Angie's List and visited the company's website. I submitted an inquiry on a Tuesday night and Joe followed-up with me the next day. I gave a brief description of the work I needed done and he scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. The estimate arrived in my email the next day. After going over the estimate, we scheduled the work to begin on the Monday, December 6th. Joe and his crew arrived at 7am as promised. They were clean and organized during the work day and cleaned up everything at the end of each work day. Someone always described work to be done at beginning of day and gave synopsis at the end, Joe answered all questions and addressed any concerns. The job was completed quickly in three days. The countertop, sink and faucet look great. The tile backsplash is gorgeous. I am really happy with how all of the work turned out.

I called & the secretary immediately scheduled me for an estimate that same week. Joe came out & was punctual & professional. He knew what he was talking about & had some great ideas about the project. My husband & I liked the price & professionalism so we contracted them to do the work. The work was scheduled for the following week & completed on time. They were very neat while working in my home. The work was very high end, especially for the price. I love the powder room & highly recommend using this contractor. I plan on putting in a new kitchen after the new year & will definitely be calling them.

Joe came early as I requested. He is a hard worker and completed the job in a timely manner. He was trustworthy in my home and treated it as his own. He was open to my suggestions, yet added great ideas that I would never have thought of! He knows the industry and the products available, which is a big help. It was a very positive experience and our family is thoroughly enjoying the work he has completed.

My initial phone call was returned the same day. Joe came out the next day and I had an estimate by the end of the day. We set up an installation date for later that week. They arrived promptly in the morning and by the time I returned from work the job was complete.
