Description of Work: C & C installed a new roof on my rancher. Four men worked over 10 hours to do it in one day. I am very pleased with their workmanship. |I chose C & C because Chris, the manager and my first contact, explained everything to me in detail and gave me a fair price with discounts.

Description of Work: It was a worthwhile visit with old-fashioned service. They were very honest. I had paid a good bit of money and he told me that I didn't need the insulation and it wouldn't pay off to have that extra insulation. I appreciated that honesty.

Description of Work: They put on a new roof, within the time specified. There was a sufficient number of workers; and they cleaned up afterwards. I was pleased with the job done.

Description of Work: They replaced our roof. Part of the job was to remove an old heater stack. They did not remove the stack and had to return and remove the part of the roofing around the stack, remove the stack and patch the roof. Rather than a new roof, I have a new roof with a patch. The area where the stack was should have had the wood sheet replaced, because of the way they did the job, they cut a square where the hole was and fit a piece of wood in. I can see a small strip of felt when looking up from inside the attic. I am very concerned about the impact this will have on my warranty with GAF. I have not spoken with them about my concern yet, but will. Neither the salesman nor the installers took responsibility, each blamed the other.

Description of Work: We got a dozen or more quotes for a full roof replacement. C&C was one of the "short list" of more professional providers. Ultimately we went with a different provider but this company was professional and easy to deal with.

Description of Work: I took advantage of the big deal offer hoping that a professional roofer could give me an idea how long my aging roof would last. The gentleman arrived and went right up on the roof. When he came back down he told me that the roof was wearing well for it's age, that he had hammered back in a few nails which had raised and did some sealing. He honestly could not tell me if the roof would last two weeks or two decades but I wasn't asking for a guarantee just a professional opinion. What I found disturbing is that all of this took no more than 15 minutes. Lets see....if the normal price for this inspection is $399 and it got done in fifteen minutes than that works out to $1596/hour at the normal rate. Roofing has gotten VERY expensive if the inspections now cost that much

Description of Work: Technician/service provider came to house to perform roof maintenance. Upon arriving, he noted the grade of our roof was too steep for him to perform the service. Very professional, helpful, and mostly importantly, honest.

Description of Work: I purchased a Angie's Big deal for a roof inspection. The service man arrived and because the pitch of the roof was to steep, he was unable to "walk"on the roof. He did however look around and found no issues. Company was very professional and would hire them in the future.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate for new gutters as well as for replacing some of the wood that lies behind the gutters. The work was immediately substandard regarding the wood replacement and they agreed to reduce the estimate by $500 (maybe because I threatened to go to the better business bureau). Soon after the work was done, my gutter cleaning service found leaks in some of the joints and C & C came out and filled those in. Needless to say, this should not have happened, but I was glad that they took care of that. I filled in some leaks in another joint that I could reach myself without calling them. It is now less than 4 years later, and my gutter cleaning service tells me again that there are leaks in some of the joints on the gutters on the top of the house. I wrote to C & C, but they will not stand behind their work because they only guarantee it for one year. So, now I am facing another charge of $1000 to replace one whole side of my house's gutters. Needless to say, I would not use this company again. They do provide speedy service but unfortunately, it will not last.
