I called the office of C&C on Tues. 4/1 and was actually greeted by a very friendly human! That alone was a nice touch. My information was taken at that time and I was told that someone from the company would be at my house on Wed., yes, the very next day, to take a look at my roof. Just as promised, Dennis showed up, did an inspection of my roof and gave me a call at work. He went over his findings and gave me some important information on my roof. As it turns out, replacing my roof is not an emergency but I can assure you, when I do replace the roof in about 1 year, I will call C&C! From the time they answered the phone, I felt that this business really does care and would be great to work with. Thanks C&C. and thanks Angies list for helping me find such a great company!

It was great. Two gentleman did the job. The were clean and quiet. You wouldn't even have know they were there if it wasn't for the plugs in the walls where the insulation was blown in. We instantly noticed a temperature bump and less usage of out heating system. I will have them back when I am ready to do the downstairs areas that need it.

Came on time and made the installation as agreed. So far the gutters have remained clear and there have been no problems.

Would never recommend. They put a new flat roof on our family room 2 years ago which already had to be replaced in the Fall. They should have removed the old roof and replaced with a new, which they never told us needed to be done. The roof leaked into our family room and had to have repairs done inside due to their horrible work. And they would not compensate us for the damage caused by them.

They couldn’t do the work because of the pitch of the roof.

The repair went very smoothly. We were able to keep in contact with Jeff during the various snow storms. The roof had to be clear in order for the repairs to be completed.

Jeff Albert came to our house to provide an esitmate and was nothing but professional and prompt. He investigated the roof and was able to provide pictures and descriptions of the issue. He spoke in terms I was able to understand. He was very knowledgable and scheduled a time within a few days to return. He came back to make the repairs on time and we have not had a leak since, even with all the snow on the roof. Thanks for the great service Jeff and C&C.

It went fine. They walked the roof and inspected it. I would use them again.

The roofer removed about 3 feet of shingles along the side of the house and along the other side of the L shaped rancher. they replaced the shingles as we where told they would do and also the metal face panel that keeps the water run off from running under the shingles, and getting into the house. The workers where professional. The job seem to have gone well and they cleaned up after themselves, rang the doorbell to finish up our business and that was it. Two weels later after a major snow strom the roof was leaking again, but now even more so than before they made there repairs. I than called C&C to inform them of what was going on. They told me because of the weather that it would be sometime, atleast 14 days before they could come out. I also got a e-mail from the supervisor apologizing that we still had a leak and there plains to see us as soon as weather premitted. I do believe that this company will do the right thing and honor their committement to my wife and myself.

We had a leaky living room ceiling and could not determine where the leak was coming from even after going into the attic where we could not detect any water coming through the roof. We contacted C&C Family Roofing and Siding who came to survey the situation they discussed the problem with us and made a thorough visual inspection of the premises. After testing various locations, they determined the location of the problem. They came out immediately and on time to repair the roof. The leak was sealed and we have not had a problem even with all the heavy snow. They were very professional, efficient and provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend C&C Roofing and Siding. Dennis was our representative and he was very easy to work with. He was honest, knowledgeable, direct and responsive. Even though we are having a very tough winter, they did their best to get us scheduled in between snow storms. Dennis provided some very honest feedback as we planned the project and stayed with us through the completion. The quality of the work is very good.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. They were punctual. They were timely in taking care of the service. They were professional.

This is a very difficult older house, where we have had problems for years. So far, so good. Only minor problem was that neighbor complained of nails in the street/sidewalk--and some detritus in the yard. But overall, not bad--they used tarps to protect the plants and windows.

It was fine. They did a great job. The people who came out were very good. They explained stuff well and got the job done correct.

This was a great experience from start to finish. My husband and I worked directly with John throughout the entirety of the job. He provided us promptly with all of the infomation we needed. This was the first time that we have ever needed to replace a roof so we had a lot of questions. John was always available when I had a random question and I was shocked sometimes at how quickly he would get back to an email of mine! I felt we got a very reasonable price from C&C Family Roofing. I had received many estimates from other companies and by far I think I got the best price for the quality of work. John was great because he kept me in the loop about special discounts and offers until my husband and I may our final decision. However, I never felt pressured by C&C Roofing or John to make our decision. I was very pleased with the customer service that John provided to us! The day that C&C came to replace the roof they were very prompt and very professional. They worked hard and completed the job in in one day. John was there to touch base with my husband who was home while the job was getting done. John answered all of my husband's questions the day of the replacement. After they replaced the roof they cleaned up very well and were on their way. My husband was very impressed with their work. Our roof looks great and we have gotten many complements on it. I will definitely recommend C&C Family roofing to my neighbors, family and friends. Specifically, I will have them contact John if they need anything because of the great experience we had with him.

Approx 1100 Square foot of attic space with 39 year old owens corning insulation . Al , who came out to do the estimate fully explained what materials would be used and the process involved and answered my questions . I paid a bit more to go to a r49 value ( which is the recommended for Northern New England, upper Midwest latitudes) . When the work was done the technicians were on time and explained what they were doing and cleaned up the property inside and out to may satisfaction. I was very satisfied with the materials used and the quality ofr the work and in the recent below zero weather I have sign a huge decrease in my energy bills and just can see that during snowfall, The snow on my roof is still there while some of the neifghbors homes it is mealting faster because of so much heat loss through the roof. I would highly recommend C &C Family roofing and siding to any residential/ commercial property owner in their service territory.

I bought a house, and there were several roofing repairs that were listed in the home inspection report that I wanted to get fixed. C&C was one of the companies I had to come and give me an estimate, and ultimately the one I hired. What I really liked: - The estimate was done within a few days. - The estimator was very knowledgeable and clearly had roofing experience. - The estimator actually got up on my roof to assess the repairs needed to give the estimate (not all companies did this) - There were two options to repairing my ridge vent which varied in cost. He explained the two options so I could understand and make an informed decision. After getting up on my roof and estimating the age of my roof, he actually recommended going with the cheaper option since my roof will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. His advice was more about what was the best decision for me vs. what would just cost the most money. That was very important to me. They were also the only company who gave me two options. Had my roof been "younger" I would have chosen the other option for a longer-term better fix. - We had a lot of snow so they called and asked me to call then and let them know when my roof was clear of snow. Small thing, but communication is important so you know they didn't forget about you just waiting for the weather to cooperate. - They were the best blend of quality and cost. There were some that cost more, but had the same level of experience. There was one that cost less, but they had less experience. So out of the companies that I had confidence in based on their experience, I chose the lowest cost estimate. And since the estimator actually got on the roof, they were the ones I had the most confidence in (yet not the most expensive). Things that could be improved: - They called on Thursday, but I wasn't home so they left a message to let me know they would be coming the following day to make the repair. I didn't need to be home, I could just leave a check for the balance on the door. I didn't get the message until after I got home from work and their office was closed. I would prefer more notice. I like to be home when contractors do work on my house so we can again review the work to be done and I can inspect the work before making payment. I would have liked to reschedule but their office was already closed. Luckily I was able to shuffle things around and be home, but that was just luck. Being home did make a difference. - When they came to make the repair on my roof we went over the contract. When the estimator came out I said I wanted the nail pops on my roof fixed and showed an example of where I saw some. In the contract, the only nail pops included were the ones I pointed out, but I did not realize this earlier. This was specifically noted in the contract so I take equal responsibility. Maybe I wasn't clear, but it seems odd to just fix some nail pops. Taking all this into account, I would hire this company again. The things I like very much outweighed the things that could be improved. I would just clarify up front that I need more notice and prefer to coordinate the date of work so I can be home. I would do a better job of reading the contract and ensuring it encompasses everything I spoke to the estimator about - I would rely on that contract more than my conversation with the estimator. Because of the items to be improved I did give one B I wasn't sure what was the most appropriate category based on the feedback above, so I picked what I thought was most appropriate.

C&C reroofed a section of my house with a shallow pitch that required rubber roofing instead of shingles. They were the low bidder for this job, showed up a day after the scheduled date due to a breakdown beyond their control, completed the work quickly, and left the work area iin good condition. The job also involved removing leaky skylights and framing and covering the holes, and the crew worked quickly and professionally to do the job well. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were generally happy with the installation of our new asphalt shingle roof. We like the quality of the CertainTeed Landmark Lifetime dimensional shingles and related products we chose for our roof and the CertainTeed soffit we chose for the porch ceiling. Overall the work looks good and our neighbors complimented us on how nice the house looks. The workmen showed up the first day shortly after 7 a.m. and worked until sunset. They worked hard and managed to strip the roof and complete half of the new roof work the first day. However, the next morning no one showed up. Around 10 a.m. we called Jeff Albert, the project manager, who thought that the roofing was completed on our home. He didn't know ridge vents and the porch roof weren't installed. Workers showed up after 1 p.m. to install the multiple ridge vents and the flat roofing material on our front porch roof. The flat roofing material was installed with some wrinkles in it which we hope will not affect the waterproofing qualities. They finished the roof late that afternoon. The now-full dumpster, however, was left on our driveway for almost a week. We also had to wait to have the Invisivent brand soffit installed on the porch roof because Jeff told us the workers who install it were already working elsewhere and he had to find time when they'd be available which would probably be the following week. The soffit was installed the following week and the workers were not as careful to clean up the site as the men who installed the roof. The most challenging part of this process to be communicating with Jeff Albert. We asked in writing and in face-to-face meetings to have a bathroom exhaust vent installed. We would hook up the hose from the fan to the roof vent later. He agreed to add it to the contract every time we spoke or wrote about it. We added it to the revised draft contract he asked us to send him. The final contract that he sent back to us omitted the vent. We decided to proceed without it since the bathroom has a window and we didn't know how much longer the weather would cooperate. We had numerous miscommunications about how much of the existing porch soffit framing needed to be removed in order to install the Invisivent brand soffit. Jeff and my husband spoke in person about the removal of the existing soffit panels and frame. My husband said Jeff told him to remove everything. I was at home when Jeff returned another day to take measurements. Jeff asked why we removed all of the framing under the soffit panels and told me that he told my husband the framing should stay. This cost us additional money to have C & C install new framing to support the new soffit. The Billing Department also was an issue. We made our first two payments on time prior to completion of the work in accordance with the terms of the contract. The final payment was due after the completion of work. Due to the delay on the part of C & C in installing the porch roof, work was not completed until the week after the roof was installed. Shortly after receiving the final bill, we started receiving telephone calls from the Billing Department asking if we sent the final payment. Bottom line, we like the product but C & C needs to work on customer service. .

Everything went very well with them. They were thorough, prompt and clean. The supervisor came and checked on the job a few times and was very professional about any questions or concerns we had. He was very good at training the workers. They were very responsive to our request.

The day of the job everything went smoothly and the crew cleaned up after themselves so well you could not tell they were here. I would strongly recommend Using C & C Family Roofing and Siding for your own residential or commercial property and will consider them in the future for other work I may need done.

I wanted them to seal around the skylight but they wouldn't. There were a few missing shingles that they would not replace also. I basically paid $99 for them to tap in a few nails. And the guy that did the work was rude. I did get the roof replaced about 6 months later by a great roofer who did an excellent job, was very nice and left the roof and yard immaculate. And for $2000 less than the C and C quote.

Once contacted, we received a timely return call and scheduled free estimate. The visit from Dennis was very polite and professional, he listened to all our questions and explained them honestly in terms we could clearly understand. The crew that came did everything they could to cover and protect the outside of the house as well as the surrounding landscape and pool area. Once the roof was done, the team went to work to clean up the entire area to the point you did not even know they were there. This was the second time I used C&C as back in 2007 they removed and replaced the roof on our detached garage at a cost of approx. $1,200.00. I decided on using them again for not only the reasonable cost but for their quality workmanship and detail to leaving absolutely no mess once the job is done. We recommend their services to anyone.

When I called C&C I asked them whether they did roof repairs and smaller roofing jobs. They said they did, so I requested an estimate for replacing the roof on a shed (I believe it's 10' by 12'). To remove the old shingles and install new shingles, their estimate was $2,000. Any plywood needed would be extra. With a " coupon", the price came to $1,500. After I sent them an email telling them I thought this was excessive, I was told they could lower the price to $1,200 but that was as low as they could go. I called one other roofer and got the job done for 1/3 of C&C's price, which included a half sheet of plywood and capping of all the upper wood surfaces with aluminum. Done by 1 individual in about 3 hours. Not every contractor is interested in doing repairs and smaller jobs which is why I asked up front. I think the price I received is their way of saying they weren't really interested. Just wish they didn't waste my time and theirs. I will look elsewhere if I have roofing needs in the future.
