C & C Family Roofing & Siding

We wanted this done as a surprise for our son. Jeff went to the house and promptly gave us a quote for the job. We told him when we needed the job done by and he said they would be in touch. A couple days later they called and said we were on the schedule. 2 guys showed up on time and completed the job In a reasonable amount of time. They were polite and cleaned up the property when finished. We were very pleased with the whole process and our son was very happy with the outcome!

It was a worthwhile visit with old-fashioned service. They were very honest. I had paid a good bit of money and he told me that I didn't need the insulation and it wouldn't pay off to have that extra insulation. I appreciated that honesty.

The price was very reasonable and the materials are of the best quality. The warranty I obtained is a golden parachute warranty that is trqansfereable. The installers arrived on time, worked through the day and completed the job by 5 PM. They were courteous, skilled and professional. Upon completion of the job, their cleanup was thorough, including a magnetic sweep for nails. This magnetic sweep was comforting, considering my Shi Tzu's paws. Absolutely no compaints. My neighbors are impressed, as well.

I needed the representative to listen to the issue I was dealing with more fully. He would have helped me better if recommendations were provided on fixing a leaky roof as opposed to just trying to convince me I just needed to see a heating specialist to address a condensation issue on an exterior pipe. My roof is still leaking, I don't have an estimate, and now am forced to seek help elsewhere. Maybe the job was too small for C&C?

They did come out and take a look, but they did not work on slate. They did offer to replace the roof, which just was not in the budget at the time. They were kind, professional, and came on time. I just requested a refund.

Estimator came and gave a quote for the patch and flashing job , recommended but didn't push a whole roof job. Scheduling was easy and they came when we weren't home to do it. Looks fine and stopped the leak that was making my ceiling wet every time it rained. Easy and fairly priced, so I will be calling in a few years for that whole roof job!

We thought that there may have been some sort of clerical error because their estimate included services for which we did not ask as well as items that our roof didn't have. We did set up a time for them to come out and explain the estimate to us, but they never showed or followed up with us.

My neighbor initially recommended C&C for this type of work, because he had the same trouble I had and he was satisfied with the experience from C&C. A gentleman from C&C named John Debrigida came to my house and gave me an estimate. My wife and I liked him a lot. He was very knowledgeable, down to earth and very honest. He was the one who recommended Angie's List to me when I inquired about drywall work I needed done as a result of my roof leak. He gave me a verbal but informal quote before he left, and his written quote via email several days later. It was somewhat higher than the quote my neighbor got a few years earlier, but I was happy enough with the quote and went with C&C for the service. The gentleman that came out did a great job, and addressed an issue that my wife brought to his attention without hesitation. After I signed the contract with C&C I waited longer than I was initially told when they were going to come out. They said about two weeks. It was closer to three. Nonetheless, that alone wouldn't stop me from using C&C for this type of work again, and I would recommend them to anyone for this type of work. They did a solid job here.

Requested an estimate for roof work. They did not show up for the first apt. and called to ask what I thought of the estimate. Made a second apt and the roof was never inspected. I was told that I would need to pay $350 and they would do a water hose test first and then if I chose them for the project, a portion of the fee would go toward the work. This was never explained as their process and I did not choose this company.

It was hard to get a siding and roofing company to come out for an estimate after Hurricane Sandy, because they were all so busy. This company was only one of 2 that returned our phone calls and came out for an estimate. Because of the hurricane situation, it took weeks for them to come out for the repairs. They sent out one guy, who seemed in a hurry, sandwiching us in between other jobs in the area. He did a decent job on repairing the siding, but the roof patch still leaked. (We were not in a state of emergency when it came to the condition of our house, as were several in our area). When it came time to completely replace the roof, we went with another company

Tore off three layers of shingles and replaced with new roof. Removed old asbestos siding and replaced with new siding.great job . Better than I expected. Dennis the boss was great to work with. I will use them again. Great job guys,Thanks.

I would highly recommend this company. Kevin was prompt with the estimate and once we decided on C &C, the work was scheduled promptly. They use GAF roofing products which are top notch. The site was cleaned up each day during the 3 day job. I felt that their pricing was also very competitive.

Chose C & C for a complete roof replacement. When it was time to sign contract no one ever showed up. Never heard anything else from anyone. Chose a different company and the process went much faster and they honored all of their commitments. Price was better too. Will not do business with or contact C & C again. I didn't appreciate my time being wasted.

C&C came out on several occasions to locate a small leak on our roof. As with most small leaks, it was difficult to pinpoint. They repaired/replaced shingles on three or four separate visits as it was hard to locate the precise area.

That worked well. The price was satisfactory. I liked that they went into detail with the quote. They said exactly what products they were going to use and how they were going to do it. The contract was very well prepared and very professional. I liked their competence. Everybody that worked here were quick and prompt. Everything was done exactly the way they said it was going to be done. Since we are at the home owners association, they dealt with the home owner’s association. I provided them with a more updated rules and requirements so they did not have any problems at all. They have also done a number of homes in this particular area and that is how I got their name, then I checked them up on Angie’s list and they have good ratings. However, they were a little bit more expensive than the other quotes I got. But I was real pleased with the detail of the contract than the others. They also provided me with an assurance what was exactly going to happen, what materials they were going to use and how it is going to be done. We had problems with the roof during the winter and they came out to examine it. They waited for spring to re-examine it and made sure that there were no problems with the roof. I even called out the roof manufacturer to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the roof and when they found out that it was C & C who installed it, they said that they are actually one of their best installers. They would also often use C & C if there were problems with the other roofs that were bought from them. When they came in the spring, there was actually no problem with the roof. There was a little condensation on the roof which was typical when it is winter but they made sure that it won’t happen again. They handled it very well and in a very professional manner.

As someone who was concerned with the aesthetics of getting our roof replaced, C & C Roofing met and exceeded all of my expectations. Jeff Albert, our salesmen, made suggestions, which we followed, and his team of highly skilled certified roofers made sure the work was done so well it was as if they were doing the work for their own home. We had never seen a team of workers put so much effort in getting a job done. I am so pleased with the tiles on our main roof, the specialty tile Jeff suggested as an accent, and the two-tone gutters also suggested by Jeff. I would happily recommend C & C Roofing to anyone! Thanks for a great job.

They recommended that we could get a bigger fan or a second one and we did not see a value in the cost to do it that way so we got a refund for the Big Deal. It was easy to work with them but our home was too big for the Angie’s List coupon.

C&C family did such a fabulous job. They were meticulous. They were on time. It was a messy job and they cleaned up after themselves. They had different crews and all of them were great. They ask questions and our opinion before they proceeded. I would definitely use them again.

C & C did an excellent job from beginning to end. Chris the C & C representative visited us and explained all details of the project and various options and grades of roofing materials. He also provided us with quite a few addresses of homes to see their work and the type and color of materials used thus making it easy to select the manufacture and color of the roof tiles. The crew that came to do the work were also excellent from beginning to end. They were extremely professional and they started on Friday and because it would rain on Monday they came back on Saturday to complete the job. I would highly recommend C& C Family Roofing. C&C roofing called me the same day I contacted them to schedule an estimate. They arrived when they said they would and did a thorough review of what needed to be done. I had another estimate from another reputable company and the price was within $200. I choose C&C because of others I know who were happy with them and most importantly they called me back same day when I had questions and promptly provided the written estimate. This was not an easy feat as the community was in much roof repair after devastating snow/storm damage.They did a fabulous job on our roof.

Not well. The person (John) who came to look at the house did not look at the roof, he stated that he was not permitted to access roofs when the weather was bad (there was a recent snow, but nothing on the roof but it was windy). He walked around my house giving me a sales pitch on their warranty and why I shouldn't use other contractors because they are not "MASTER CERTIFIED". He didn't seem interested in reviewing the problem areas. He stated "I don't care, because when we are done with the work there won't be any more leaks" He told me he uses a service called roofers 411(or something like that) to get the measurements of the house and would send me the estimate in a few days. I waited for the complete estimates but only received the estimates for the new roof. (still haven't received the estimate on the gutters and siding) I received a phone call from their office a few weeks after John was here. They were inquiring how the estimate was going and asked if I had any questions. I told them that I only received a partial estimate and they told me they would have John contact me. (Still waiting for that call). Recently, I sent an email to John and asked why I haven't received the completed estimate and if I should assume that they were not interested in my money. (no response) Not the type of treatment you would expect from a "MASTER ROOFER".

We had used C&C in 2008 to install a new roof and new skylights on our house (cost: approx $20,000.) They were professional, responsive, neat, and timely in all aspects. Last year, we had a tree fall on the house. They came out the next day to inspect the roof, then tarped it even though there were no visible holes, then replaced several shingles that week. It was a very small job, but they treated us just as well as when they had installed the new roof in 2008. In 2008, when we had replaced the main roof of the house, we chose to only put an extra layer on a separate small flat -roofed area. C&C had told us it would be a temporary treatment, and that we might expect to get 5 years out of it. This year, (6 years later) that roof began to leak. When I called Chris, our contact, he came out the next day. Before I had even contracted with them, Chris made certain that someone came to tarp the entire flat roof so that we wouldn't get further damage to the decking and so that we could remove the water containers that we had lined up on the floor! He was not matter of fact about it. He understood our urgency and responded in a professional and competent manner. Everyone I have had contact with at the company seems to value our business. That is not as common these days as one would like to think. Recently, I called Chris to ask if C&C handled window repairs. We had a window leaking. Chris told me that they didn't handle these particular type of windows and referred me to another company. That very afternoon, I received an email from his contact offering to come out for a free estimate. Chris had contacted him on my behalf to help me solve the problem. C&C takes care of its customers and takes pride in its work.

They are very consumer-oriented. The crews were good and they even worked on Sunday because it was going to rain on Monday. The cleanup was really good and they picked up every price of shingle in the area, and also went around the house with a magnet to make sure that they got everything cleaned up. The roof looks really good and the guys were very efficient and quick.

I called for an estimate and they have an answering service on the weekends. I had to wait for a call back on Monday. When I did, they couldn't view my roof until that Friday. I didn't get a quote from that viewing until Tuesday. Since i'm selling my house, I was in a time sensitive situation which i relayed to them. Their recommendation was to repair a 20+ roof with shingles that may not match. I asked for a quote for a new roof and that took another 3 days. They lost me after i saw their quote and their lack of responsiveness lost this job for them plus their price wast $1400 more than another provider.
