Description of Work: They ordered and installed wonderful slider shades. keep the room cool in summer, room darkening Installer was perfection job was perfection love the shades expect them to last a looooong time. showed me how to see that they are opened properly so that none would come off the hooks, and showed me how to put it back up should it ever happen. made the room look so much better than the cheaper brand i had on before. Cost a little more as I had to have a new valance installed since they didn't fit the old track. so not a problem for me. They took some time, but that was caused due to the influx of orders they had received. I can understand that. All the service was great from start to finish. I have used youcums when they sold wallpaper and they were excellent then also. A quality family run company that has existed for many, many years

+ -1 moreYocum Shutters and Blinds was supposed to come and fix our blinds. They ended up just telling me to use matching duct tape to solve the problem. They told me to do this, since the part they needed to perform the repair was longer available. The guy that came out to look at the damage was very nice, but the lady in the office was rather rude and difficult to deal with. They were also very hard to follow up with to actually get a legitimate repair, not duct tape, performed. I eventually just gave up calling them. I do not intend on using them again.
Description of Work: Yocum installed our blinds, and then were supposed to come out and repair some damage on them.
