After my initial call to the Fence Authority, an estimator came out promptly to look at the site, take measurements, show me a brochure of fencing styles, and come up with an estimate. She was friendly and professional, and it was kind of refreshing to have a woman come out to do the job. As a single female homeowner, I felt like I could trust her. She alerted me that it would take several weeks ( I think it was about 6 weeks) before the crew could come out to install. Due to a rainy spring and early summer they wee behind schedule. When the installation date came, the crew of 3 arrived on time. The leader was friendly but his two colleagues...not so much. I left them there to do the job, which they completed within a few hours. The new fence looks great, but there were a few unpleasant surprises. The guys left some food trash in my yard, despite the presence of a big trash can. They also destroyed some landscaping. They were big flowering plants...in full bloom... but perhaps they didn't recognize them as landscaping. They used my hose to add water to the concrete, and I found that my spray nozzle was caked in concrete. And finally, they splattered concrete on one part of the new gate. Like I said, the new fence looks great overall, but there was some sloppy aspects to the job. Fence Authority never call to ask if I was satisfied, a touch that I always appreciate with other firms.

This was a nightmare. We waited 6 weeks for the fence to come it (after being told that they have it in stock). The removal of the old fence went smoothly. When they went to drill holes for the new fence they hit a pipe to the pool causing a water leak. We called our pool company and the The Fence Authority employees got into a verbal argument as to who's fault it was that this happened and refused to help remove debris to assess the damage. Work was halted however The Fence Authority wanted me to agree that I would pay an additional $600 to come out a 2nd day. They refused to leave my property till I signed off to agree to pay more money. I finally agreed to pay an additional $300. After the pool was repaired (at my expense), they came out but said a crucial piece was missing (and blamed the pool company for the missing item). It took several weeks for them to return to finish the job.

It was good and we were very happy. The workers were excellent, measured very carefully and got the fence the exact size.

They were professional, on time, and work done as promised. A little disappointed in the quality of some of the boards, but this can be resolved.

You know how much it will cost up front and they are willing to work with you. They talk about all the specifics from the beginning and leave nothing in the dark. It was very nice doing business with them.
