Description of Work: Overall the work was OK, they moved existing patio squares to another area very neatly, the service was quick--done in one day. However the few negatives are: (1) Roots removed from along/under driveway were put in my trash can (instead of being taken away). My trash service does not allow yard waste in the wastecan. These had to be removed and bagged so I missed the pickup that week. (2) Once they removed roots growing under driveway I thought there'd be no more problems with standing water. Yet there are still a few areas, though much shallower, allowing rain to puddle for an extended time. (3) There is still a large tan/white "stain" in front of my home on street from the work. The rain has not washed it away in a month.

Description of Work: I had R Smith Paving stop by my house and gave me an estinate to repair my cracked asphalt driveway. I had been patching it myself for years and had been waiting for a good price and contractor to repair it. The base was substantially sound but it needed to be capped. They showed up a couple of hours later with the full crew and equipment. They cut out the bad areas then applied 4 inches over the entire surface. They compacted it correctly and tamped the edges nicely. It was a very nice job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
