Green Pest Solutions contacted me after I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal, which surprised me. They scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. They did everything that was stated in the Big Deal promo. Overall I'm happy with the service, since I've heard plenty of horror stories about discounted promo services like this (and through Groupon/Living Social) that the companies that advertise get overwhelmed and can't handle the business said advertisement brings in.

He arrived on time, thoroughly explained what he would be doing and what else he could do for other issues I had. Very good experience.

Very nice professional person came around the house to look at potential pest in the hosue. He made helpful recommendations that we will follow up on. He left a few adhesive plates behind for us to determine what insects/pests we have in the basement

All and all, we are happy he sprayed outside as he found a small terminte nest and recommended we contact the termite inspector who didn't find any termites during the home inspection (for the warranty work). UPDATE (12/14/12): They came back out to fix the spider problem and satisfied my expectations. I would certainly recommend them to others!

Wow, really nice experience with this company. I found a coupon from Groupon for $25 to spray the outside perimeter of my home. The representative showed up on time. He was extremely pleasant and explained what work he would be doing. When I asked what he would be using for pest control, he was able to explain that it was people and pet friendly. He asked me if I had any specific bugs or pests that I wanted eradicated. I mentioned that I had earwigs around my garden and that I needed help with them. He also explained about other treatments available to eradicate grubs. After the representative sprayed the outside perimeter of my home, he placed 3 sticky traps that were effective for both insects and rodents, 2 in my garage and 1 in my attic. He explained and left information about other services available, yet it did not sound like a sales pitch. I was very happy with the work performed.

They came out and performed a thorough review, offered suggestions for going forward and it in no way felt like they were up selling. Advised to not perform certain services this time of year as it would be a waste of money. Advised having services performed during different times of the year and again made no attempt to pressure sell or up sell, just felt like we were talking as friends would.

Did routine pest control exterior. Was prompt and very courteous. Did evaluation inside and saw no issues. Will be calling this company annually for inspection and preventative treatment. Thanks

I was very pleased with the service provided and appreciated the fact that Dennis provided me with estimates for services that I might need in the future. He was on time and extremely professional. I would definitely use their services in the future.

I originally called after noticing some mice in attached garage, with a concern they might get into the house (crawl space adjoins he garage) After explaining this to the receptionist I was connected me with a sales associate. I again explained that mice were spotted in garage and would like them taken care of. The conversation lasted over 20 minutes most of it explain the different options. I simply wanted a visit, to get rid of the mice before they multiplied. I opted with the one time service which was good for thirty days with return visits within that time. This was the first time we had ever seen them, and never had any problems before with insects, bees, pests etc. before Then came the sales pitch; for yearly service with a one time fee, and a monthly charge for my peace of mind, convenience when the summer month came and in the future... Again I asked for the one time service. the price i was quoted was $25.00 higher than the Angies List coupon price which was pest control for a 4 bedroom house. Reluctantly he adjusted the price after placing me on hold and checking with someone. I was then connected to the receptionist to set up the appointment. I wanted this taken care of sooner rather than later. I explained to her that I work during the week and a she offered me an appointment for a Saturday in several weeks, and some weekday appointments. I apologized that would not work and i would try another company, amazingly an appointment was found for that Saturday. The service technician was very prompt and went right to work. He told us this might require several trips to check the traps, bait etc, and suggested a revisit in 10-to 14 days. My wife arranged to take a morning off on the tenth day . We called in to schedule a visit for the re-check and was told nothing was available for the week or Saturday due to the holiday, and it would have to be the following week. My wife again explained our work hours which started and ended before and after their working hours. She suggested we would have to arrange a day the following week when we could accommodate their schedule. We asked if they could squeeze us in, or again come on Saturday, and we were given a flat out no. My wife asked them to be a bit more accommodating so the traps could be emptied, as we were asked by the service technician. The receptionist was very defensive, and told my wife that we were not giving her any options, and suggested we were the one being difficult with our schedule. The company works from 8 AM-6 PM. Unfortunately we work in jobs that extend beyond those ours, and rarely can get a morning free or leave work early. We asked if it was this difficult to get an appointment why cant the service technician schedule the appointment on the initial visit. They don't do that Green Pest was able to schedule a visit when I told them i would have to go with another company rather quickly. The follow-up was less then accommodating after they were paid, and we were only following the recommendation of the service technician. It appears the 30 day one time treatment is applicable to thier schedule, and not the customers. We asked to be put on a list for cancelations for the time my wife had arranged off, or for a partial refund of the money paid for the service. Thus far we have had no communication, and have had to hire another service.

I bought this Big Deal because I was tired of seeing "house centipedes" IN MY HOUSE. Green Pest Solutions left messages a few times about scheduling the service call, but I waited a few weeks because I was trying to get some other work done outside first. When I did call, the appointment was scheduled promptly, and the tech, Dennis, arrived on time. He was also super nice and professional. I don't expect to never see one of those nasty things again--but so far, so good.

I bought the inspection and outdoor treatment, mostly preventative. They were punctual, polite, and professional. One suspects that their main interest was in termite inspection, but they didn't find any termites and were honest about it. I would use them if I had a problem.

The person who showed was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. I previously had termite "control" with T******* and was very unhappy with the high cost for the service provided. This person from Green Pest Control did a very thorough inspection and located an active termite colony in a tree stump near the property. He also confirmed that mice were getting into my attic. I have since signed up for their termite and pest control programs and been happy with the results so far. Numerous termite bait traps were installed to monitor activity, something that the large termite company never did and at a much cheaper price. They also are taking care of the mice problem in a manner that is safe for the pets in my house. I highly recommend this company.

They were terrific! Initially, they contacted me to make the appointment, which I really appreciated. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and was great to work with overall.

Everything went well from start to finish. About 15 minutes after I purchased the coupon for service I received a call and an appointment was scheduled at my convenience. Service was performed on time and within the $$ I already spent.

Great deal and very professional service. Appointment was set up quickly and Adam (General Manager) came and carried out the inspection and treatment. He was well presented, courteous and knowledgable. i got the impression that he and his colleagues were passionate on what they did and very customer focused. He completed the work and then went over service agreements that the company offered but there was no hard sell. Told me to contact him later if I decided to go ahead with further work. Overall, very happy with the service and I would recommend to family and friends :)

Service was excellent. Representative was great about explaining what he was doing, why and how. Gave me good information about the critters he spotted. Warned us about some damaged wood around the garage that we had not even noticed, and threw in some advice about the hornet nest hanging from a branch of a borough tree over our driveway.

Company was on time, professional and completed work in a timely fashion. Gave detailed estimate of additional recommendations based on inspection.
