Description of Work: I was having ant problems in my kitchen and saw an Angie's List deal for Green Pest Solutions. The deal was too great to pass up and much better than treating myself with harsh chemicals. The owner of the company came out. He took care of the issue with no hidden fees or hidden agenda. No more ants and a great experience! I would definitely recommend!

Description of Work: The serviceman arrived on time, and was very professional. I especially liked that he wore booties over his shoes when he came into the house. He sprayed safe pesticide around the parimeter of the house, as well as set safe (for pets, children) bug traps where our problem areas were. I liked that he asked me my concerns and addressed all of my concerns. Will definately consider using them again.

Description of Work: We were finding live bees in a bedroom. We spoke on the phone prior to appt. arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. The nest could not be located but he sprayed outside and gave me his cell phone number to call him if any bees were seen. He also noticed ants outside close to door and took care of them. He came back a week later as a follow up on the bees.

Description of Work: Green Pest Solutions has come to my home 3 times now the first was on the Angie's List Promo. I signed up for the year and so far are happy with the service. I also signed up for there lawn service. The men are professional and take their time to explain what they are doing.

Description of Work: Angie's List Big Deal - included home inspection for termites. I'm having some work done on my home, and wanted to confirm everything was OK before continuing. The office staff and Dan, the inspector who came to my home, were extremely courteous and professional. They contacted me the day after I purchased the Big Deal to schedule the appointment. Dan walked through my house and around my property with me, and explained what I should look for, and preventive measures that could be helpful.

Description of Work: They did not communicate with me on arrival time. Nor did the tech discuss what he did. Just sprayed and left.

Description of Work: Termite inspection, found evidence of activity , recommended a treatment to eliminate active colony and suggested a yearly inspection and reapplication if needed. The entire experience was very positive and we are very happy with the service provided. We will use them again and would recommend to friends and family.

Description of Work: The representative laid down pesticide to prevent insect entry into the house. He also inspected for termites, but explained that the termite treatment done on the house almost 2 years ago would prevent recolonization for many years. Finally he gave me bed bug traps to use under mattresses.

Description of Work: I purchased this last year. I can't fully remember the details, but they recommend many treatments (maybe 6?) to reduce mosquitos, and for this big deal, just the first treatment was $29.99 and the rest was a bit more. I prepaid for all the recommended treatments, they came out on a certain time schedule and left a note that they treated. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference. Of course, I wasn't expecting no bugs (they do fly, of course), but not worth it if paying hundreds of dollars for no difference. | |My biggest peeve is this year, without my ever giving consent, they went ahead and treated again. I called them up -- they claim that it's written on all their forms that they automatically renew any service they provide unless I call to cancel. I looked everywhere on the last bill they sent (which I had because they had just treated my lawn) and could not see this written anywhere. Finally the person had to direct me to the fine print written all the way on the bottom of the form somewhere. I am not perfect, but I am fairly careful in reading my mail and bills, and I no impression that this was a recurring treatment unless specifically cancelled. This was NOT clear and it made me very angry. I feel like it is deceptive. I would not use them again for this reason for any other services.
