In business since 1975, we sell decorative and security hardware, including door locks, keys, safes, knobs, knockers, switch plates, towel bars, cabinet knobs, mailboxes, hinges and much more. We represent many manufacturers, including Baldwin, Schlage, Ginger, Top Knobs, Emtek, Arrow, Kwikset, and Von Duprin. We offer a complete locksmith service, including installation.

Description of Work: Came pretty much at last minute to replace a lock that had to be removed. Worker us in to a full schedule. Charged a fair price for work despite the fact they knew we were desperate. Good quality work. Would use again in a heartbeat !

Everything was fine. I was very happy with them. He came and did what he was supposed to do and it turned out good.

I was moving into a new home and needed my locks re-keyed. I called Dayton Locks. Initially we were playing a bit of phone tag but after we connected we made an appointment, they arrived on time, and the locks were re-keyed within about 15 minutes.

Very good. I would recommend Dayton to others. The rates were reasonable for the amount of work done and the hardware installed. I also appreciated that Mike offered some options and tips to save us money instead of seeking the most costly option to improve their business.
Description of Work: We hired Dayton to re-key two locks on a new house and add a lock to another door. The consultant who came to our house (Mike) was professional, listened to our ideas, and provided feedback on various options and costs. He made recommendations that saved us some money and offered some advice on a few loose fittings, etc that we could eventually become problems if we don't manually tighten them from time to time (he tightened them before leaving). In all, he spent about an hour at our house. He arrived on time (9 am) and we received a call shortly before his arrival confirming our appointment and indicating that he was on his way.

Very prompt, called first thing in the morning to confirm arrival. Fixed the problem with my lock, and tested everything carefully to make sure it worked. Showed me exactly what broke. A great experience. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: My cylinder lock in my front door fell apart. Dayton repaired it, and also fixed other parts of the lock I didn't realize were also broken.

He came the same day we called . Was polite; went to work immediately and fixed the door lock.
Description of Work: Tightened the hardware on the front door lock which had come loose. It took him a very short time, but he also checked and tightened the additional bolt lock we have on the door. It was a task that we could not have done ourselves because we do not have the equipment.

Experience was great. We walked into their store and told them what we needed. They sent a guy out to our house and he performed all the work needed. He was very professional and let us know what he was doing. I would use Dayton again.
