Mike was great! He helped me understand the process and gave me advice on how to get the best "bang for my buck".

It went great. Mike was at our house for about 1 hour. I thoroughly explained why he thought we had the issue, he made a few recommendations for us to do (move a stone away from the house, fix a rain drain...) and he applied a treatment, outside this home, to kill the ants. No more ants.

As well as could be expected.

Township Pest Control is the BEST! I love dealing with Mike, the owner. I have had an ongoing issue with ants in my kitchen, during the Spring. Other companies had required that I commit to a monthly service plan - to take care of the problem. I did not want service monthly to deal with a problem that is not year-round. Mike understood my needs and has come out to treat the ants, when they appear. I was NEVER talked into a service I did not need - and that has earned Township Pest Control my trust and respect. No high pressure or sales tactics. Mike is very knowledgeable and has only used products in my home, that I feel comfortable with him using. I would highly recommend Township Pest Control.

Mike was extremely professional and very knowledgable. He is the CSI of the Rodent World. He was able to quickly pinpoint entry points and eradicate our problem. We have not seen ANY evidence in the past week of rodent presence. It was a pleasure doing business with him. We hope NOT to need him in the future but we will certainly call him if we do.

Mike (the owner) was absolutely a pro. Came the morning following our initital call. He was prompt (7:00 a.m.), thorough, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. While our problem was a very minor one, he addressed it quickly with no upselling pressure. I would recommend him in a second. Makes it clear why we should support quality locally owned businesses.

Placed a telephone call on Thurs. morning to Township Pest Control. After a brief conversation with Mike, including the cost, a time was set up (3:00) for the afternoon. A short time later, Mike called and told us that the cost was incorrect. The cost would be LESS than the original stated. Mike was knocking on the door at the appointed time. Starting with the kitchen, he did a total search to determine whether a mouse was in the house (poor rhyme). Each room was checked, along with the basement, laundry room and garage. The outside foundation was checked to determine an entry(ies) site(s). He reported that there was no current rodent infestation. He then placed a trap in the kitchen and the laundry room, along with 12 glue traps (possible future appearance sites). He guaranteed his work for sixty (60) days with a reduced cost if a mouse appeared after that. The best part was the fact that there is no contract. We found Mike to be a true professional. Highly recommended to others.

I developed a flea problem in our house that became evident from our constant scratching from our cats. I immediately put them on Frontline Flea Medication and started vacuuming daily. I decided to get my house treated and contacted, via email, three different pest control companies here on Angies List. I got quotes from two of them, and might I say very expensive quotes, along with a request to schedule the treatment. The response from my email from Michael at Township was much different. He asked me to call him on the phone to talk about my flea problem. I called him immediately to discuss my problem and quickly found out that here is someone who knows his trade and is a true professional. He spoke with me for over 20 minutes, while all along asking me pointed questions to find out the severity of the infestation and whether I really needed a treatment or could control the fleas with vacuuming. He suggested a simple test for me before coming out to see how infested my house was. Well, it turns out the test he suggested showed that the problem was not that bad and vacuuming would probably help keep the fleas in check. He did quote me a price, which might I say was much less than the other two companies in the event that the fleas come back. He saved me a lot of money. I found out one thing for sure from my phone call with Michael. He will definitely be my first call with any future problems that occur with Pests. Michael is the epitome of a true professional who knows his craft. Thank you Michael.

We had a yellow jacket in ground nest located near our side door. I researched on Angie's list and there were frankly several highly recommended vendors in my area. I decided to contact Township (Mike) b/c of his ratings/review comments and the fact he was an independent owner and been in business since the 80's. I wrote a message thru the Angie's list website and Mike called me within 10 minutes. He reviewed my needs and was able to give me a price on the phone including discounts. I thought the price was reasonable and accepted. He told me he could do the job on the same day and arrived within his estimated time window. Mike is very friendly and knows his business. I've already gave his name to my son and I would not hesitant to call on Mike again!

He doesn't use too many chemicals that's very dangerous to human. He seems knowledgeable, careful and very neat. For now, we're very happy with him. I would use this provider again in the future.

As above, Mike removed the carpenter bees nests last year. This week (8/2014) Mike spent 15 minutes advising me how to handle the bats in the eaves problem, even though he doesn't work with bats. Mike is a classy and kind professional. This kind of caring for customers and honesty is to be celebrated!

Based on Angie's List good reviews, I chose Township Pest Control, and I was not disappointed. Mike is a very knowledgable, professional, reliable and also very honest. I called Mike Synder because we had a problem with ants. I liked him from the onset because he asked me what services I needed to ensure his business matched my needs. The appointment was set up promptly and he told me he charged a flat fee which included a 15% discount for being an Angie"s List member. During our conversation, he was both pleasant and informative briefly explaining both why ants have been so prolific this spring ( the extremely wet winter) and what he would be doing when he came to the house. I discussed the fact I had pets and he said nothing he would do would have a deletarious effect on them. I felt very comfortable with him. I was not going to be home at the time of service but my Mom was going to be there when Mike came to the house. I thought, my Mom is going to love this guy! As for the actual service, Mike called before he came, and came when he said. My Mom liked him just as I knew she would. He explained what he was doing, showed all the places where the ants were living outside of the house (nasty) and explained what drew them into the house. He also plugged the mouse entry areas. He said in 7 days the ants should be gone and if they were not to call him back. Well today is day 5 and the ants are gone. After being wigged out of my mind, multiple cans of Raid and the absolute disgust of having ants in my home, I'm so happy I made this call. Mike was helpful, pleasant and efficient. he also dresses up as a mouse and speaks at his daughters school.......what's not to like!

Mike was great! From my first call to him - Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend- to the appointment today, Mike has been so helpful! He's totally honest and really seems to care about his customers. In addition up spraying my home, he noticed a leaky pipe and notified me. Also- knowing that I had a small child, he was careful to not spray her room and explained the products he was using. I've already signed up for future service with Mike!

Mike from Township Pest Control was great! Very knowledgable, professional, and courteous. He walked around my entire property with me and explained his thoughts on everything from the landscaping to water drainage and provided suggestions to prevent certain insects from invading my property. I was looking for quality service and expert advice, which is why I hired Township Pest Control. Mike spent about two hours at my property evaluating and treating the entire exterior and interior of my house. Since we agreed on a quarterly pest control service, Township Pest Control provides emergency services calls free of charge. I thought this was a great incentive. Go with Mike from Township Pest Control, you will not be disappointed.

Very likable guy. Explained everything he was going to do. Answered my initial call during business hours which I know can be difficult for a one man company. Called him on a Friday and he came out on Monday afternoon at the time promised. So far so good with the decrease in spiders and silverfish in my house. I would definitely use this company again.

Mike was pleasant and informative about the steps he was taking. He showed me how the mice were getting into the house and placed bait traps near the entry point. He then pulled out the bottom drawer of my stove to place both bait and glue traps and explained how it would work. He also place some glue traps downstairs and not bait because I have cats. He told to watch the cats because they would alert to the traps if a mouse was caught. Well that night my cats placed themselves in front of the stove looking at the bottom and sure enough when I checked this morning I found a mice in the glue trap under the stove near the gas pipe where they were getting in. I am pleased at his professionalism and how he took his time explaining everything. Next to do is dry wall the garage ceiling to prevent the mice entry.

It was good. I like them. He came one time and came back because my bees were still there. It was reasonable.

Professional, neat and gets the job done!

Mike from Township Pest Control came over to stop an infestation of flying bugs. There were many hundreds of bugs outdoors and 20-60 bugs came inside daily. The infestation was terrible. We couldn't go outside without bugs landing on us. The bugs would eventually get in the house and land on my disabled wife, who couldn't move away from them. I tried to kill the bugs myself using insecticides without any success. Mike came out and treated the house. The only bugs we find now are dead, which is fine with us..

Finally yesterday the big reveal was 'no rat' but I learned a lesson living out in the country....don't put food on the ground as they will come. Most likeable guy and great to talk to. I know he traveled far to come and help me and appreciate that very much.

Mike was extremely patient, nice and provided quality service. He communicated everything he was doing and what to expect. He took time to educate us and answer all of our questions. Mike didn't just come in and spray, he diagnosed the situation and created a plan of attack for the situation and provided preventive measures to insure the problem doesn't come back.
