When I called Mike, I told him that I was looking for a company to service my parent's house, who are seniors. Mike was very helpful over the phone and provided a detailed explanation of the service that he would perform. Mike gave my parents an Angie's List and Senior Discount. Because of weather, Mike could not perform the service on the scheduled date. Mike still came out to perform an inspection of the house and gave suggestions to my parents to prevent future problems. Mike came back the following week to exterminate the carpenter ants. I chose Mike because other Angies' List customers highlighted his honesty, especially since my parents are seniors. I am very glad that I chose Mike. My parents were very happy with his service.

Mike discussed the problem with me over the phone and determined the best treatment would be a granular product. He ordered this and visited the house the following week for application. We walked around the house and discovered bees in multiple areas around the home, so I decided to have the entire perimeter treated for in ground bees. This application soaks into the ground after water is applied. Although this reduced the colony of bees, it did not erradicate them, so he came out the following week and applied a different product, a powder, that dries out the bees. It has been a week, and that seems to have done the job, thanks Mike!

They are a nice company, but I feel as though the treatment didn't have great results. It's not that much different than the treatment I do myself.

I would definitely call Mike for any other type of pest problem.

Mike was very responsive and considerate when I had to delay our meeting by a couple of hours. He explained everything I needed to know and was very informative and easy to talk to.

Mike was very knowledgeable and obviously loves his job. He provided recommendations to get rid of the carpenter ants, spread some powder outside, sprayed locally inside, and gave us some ant traps to use in the future. He also inspected the house and provided about 10 recommendations for other pest control projects I could do on my own. I didn't get competitive quotes, so I can't comment on his pricing. The number of ants definitely dropped off. We saw a slight resurgence a month later, but Mike responded to a few questions that were helpful.

A contractor doing work on my garage noticed that the wood trim around the garage door was in bad repair. He tore it off and we saw that it appeared to have pest damage. I called Township's owner, Mike Snyder, and Mike said that although he doesn't do termite removal, he would be happy to stop by and take a look to help us diagnose the problem. He came the very next day and immediately recognized that it was in fact termite damage, but showed us that the wood had been treated some time ago and told us there was no evidence of a live infestation. He made recommendations to the contractor as to the best way to replace the trim so as to avoid future infestations. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and didn't charge us anything for the visit or the advice. Mike is one of the best contractors I've ever encountered (and I've dealt with dozens).

Mike, the owner, is a most pleasant, courteous and professional person. He explained my problems to me, what needed to be done and performed his job in a most professional manner.

He was efficient, prompt, courteous, thorough and cleaned up well. He instructed us to leave the pieces of the nest on the ground because what he sprayed on it to kill the hornets needs time to work. He asked if he could come in and wash his hands when he was done - very respectful and I would definitely use them again. I got an Angie's List discount which saved $15. Highly recommend this service.

This was the second exterminator I called since I still had the little "critters" after the first exterminator came. Although he did the same kind of spraying as the first, he did more explanation as to how to keep the area sprayed doing its job. i.e. do not wash the floor for the first three inches from the wall for a week. It may sound like common sense but I really did not think it would be a problem to wash the floors a day after they were sprayed initially. Anyway, it did the job. Mike, the exterminator was very friendly and very diligent. I was very pleased.

We called Mike and we agreed he would come when we would be home, 2 days later. He called that morning to confirm that we still needed him to come and we said yes. He showed up on time, found the enormous source of our problem and took care of it within an hour. Was very personable, especially with our son, and called a few days later to check up on us.

Mike is excellent. Very prompt. Very responsive. Excellent price. He remembers our home and what he needed to do the year before even though we have only needed his services once a year. We have small children and he is always very concerned about treating our pest problem without exposing them to any hazards or toxins. Amazing knowledge base. Great sense of humor.

Mike is a real pro and has great knowledge of his trade. He spent nearly an hour walking around our house with me to assess our current ant problem and to point out things to fix to avoid future problems with pests. He was better than the home inspector we used when we bought our house last year! He gave me an honest assessment of our problem, provided a few treatment options to consider, and performed the work I requested. The cost was *less* than what he had estimated on the phone! We'd definitely use him again.

We will look for someone to try to take on our infestation and hope they are as professional, knowledgeable and honest as Mike. A pleasure to have met him.

I left a message for Mike on Saturday. He called first thing on Monday morning and arrived at the house before noon. He assessed the situation, identified the possible points of entry, and treated the house in a timely manner and with no residual odor or visible powders. Mike was congenial, professional, prompt, and provided service at a reasonable cost. I am very pleased with his work.

I called to get estimates and never heard back from this company. Almost two weeks later, Mike called me and genuinely apologized for not calling me back sooner because they had a death in the family. After talking to him for close to 20 minutes about my bug problem, we settled that now was not the time to do the job because the temperatures had gone down, and the bugs were gone. But he told me a price and told me he would honor the Angie's list coupon next spring when we would be ready to do the job. I will hire him in an instant. He was so personal, friendly, and easy to talk to.

Mike was outstanding. Extremely responsive and accommodating. He came out in less than a week, provided service on Saturday and the price came in lower than quoted on the phone. I did some comparison shopping before hiring and for the exact same work, Township came in $65 less per quarterly visit than some of the larger pest control operations.

Mike is always courteous and thorough. If he is running late, he calls. Although I haven't compared prices, the price seems fair. I'm pleased with the service and the results.

Mike was very friendly, informative and punctual. He gave me an education in not only how to control any issues we have happening now, but also insight into why they occurred in the first place. Armed with this new information, I can really start giving this older home the care it's previous owners couldn't. I highly recommend Mike and Township Pest Control. He is a true professional.
