It went very good. We had ants crawling around on the floor and on the countertops so we used them. The guy who came out explained everything. He explained why he was doing everything that he was doing and then he offered to come back again in the spring for the second visit for free. He was very professional and he certainly did not squirt, squirt and run. He spent time talking about why ants do what they do and those kinds of things. He was very good. We have had some other experiences with some pest control people so we had something to go on with but he came in with his little booties and his kit. We talked a little and he did not just get to work. He took a lay of the land and we went upstairs and looked at the sinks. He explained everything and he left some extra traps for us to put down later if we get any more ants.

He resolved also the issues with one visit. He also gave great advise to make sure it didn't happen again. He was also a nice guy and would recommend him.

He went up and beyond. He was just great. I appreciate the fact that he cleaned the sides of my stove and the back which he didn't have to do. He did a fantastic job!

Very well, Mike explained how the bugs get into the home. He did not try and sell me a maintenance plan because it wasn't necessary. He gave me an Angie's List discount as well. Also offered a discount within 6 months of service for a return visit in the Spring. Liked the fact that he is a local business, he is certified and knows all about insects.

He was great to work with. He charged a flat rate which covered the inspection. He had a very easy going personality and was professional. He was knowledgable, described everything, and easy to talk through concerns with. It was a quick and efficient visit.

I found Mike on Ange's list and called. He responded immediately and came out to rid us of our problem. I found him to be prompt, knowledgeable and professional. He thoroughly explained our problem and proceeded to rid us of our pests. I now feel safe going into our finished basement and enjoying it. I highly recommend Mike.

I called and was sent to voice mail. No human to answer the phone during working hours and not even the courtesy of a response. Same experience as another reviewer.

I live in a wooded area and have problems with mice and carpenter ants. I was looking for a new exterminator so I called Township Pest Control to get an estimate. I picked him because of his excellent reviews on Angie's List and the fact that he was less than 2 miles from my home. When I called I got the voice mail and left a message. Almost a week went by and my call was not returned, so I called him again thinking that maybe he didn't get my message. This time he answered the phone and said he got my message but that he had been very busy and that's why he didn't return my call. He said he was going out to lunch, but we did talk briefly. He quoted me a good price and said he would call me back after lunch. He never called me back. I was very disappointed because my first call wasn't returned and he didn't call back when he said he would. I guess he has plenty of customers and doesn't need my business. I called another A rated exterminator I found on Angie's List. This exterminator returned my call in a timely manner and will be out to my home very soon.

Great. Mike arrived on time, was very helpful in explaining the solution that he would use. I had a major cricket nest. It seems he got them all :)

Mike came out promptly. Thanks, Mike !! Turned out to be not only an excellent exterminator but a really great guy as well. He and my husband hit it off nicely. Great service at a very fair price. We will absolutely call on Mike again! Don't try to do it yourself!

I've used Mike year after year and he is always excellent -- responsive, helpful, thorough, friendly and a pleasure to do business with. He sprayed the interiors and exteriors where needed and to prevent future problems and he supplied us with ant traps, for extra help. Will definitely use him in the future, and I always recommend him to friends.

Had a really pesky ant problem. Couldn't get rid of them ourselves. I set up an appointment with Mike. He came to the house at the time of the appointment. Listened to my story about the ants, did a thorough inspection of the areas where they were a problem and applied several tubes of ant bait under the baseboards and other key points of entry. We haven't seen the ants since. Mike was highly professional, clearly well-informed about his profession and sensitive to the safety of our pets. He took time out to explain what attracts ants and how we could prevent them in the future.

He was totally right. He did not come out and charge us which I thought was really admirable. Clearly, I'd go to him if I did have a pest control problem.

exterminator offered to come over, pick up the evidence of infestation, and inspect it. He could not find anything that he knew of as evidence of a problem. He gave us the name of the head of entymology at Penn State (someone he know), and recommended we send him the evidence, so there would be nothing he missed. he returned the bag with the evidence, but we never sent it to the school. he was polite and professional, and did not charge us for his trouble and time. I would recommend him for his honesty, other exterminators would offer and charge you to treat your house at least once "just to make sure" whether you really needed it or not.

Mike was great. He answered my call on a Saturday and scheduled my appointment for the following Monday. He was on time, informative, and very personable. His goal is to educated his customers so they understand his process and why he choses the methods he uses.

Okay, where to begin - Simply put, you want the best at a very fair price? Call Mike. And I am not just saying that. I was wanting a thorough investigation and a plan of attack to a mouse problem and Mike was thorough without even having to ask and exceeded my expectations from the start. He investigated everywhere in the house including behind refrigerators, appliances, and our not so easy to get to attack. I felt no stone was left unturned. We finally pin pointed a spot where an electrical cable to a sump pump that we installed a couple of years ago was coming through which looked like an old drier vent into the house. It seemed to be leaving just enough room for mice to make their way through. He plugged holes that he saw that allowed them easy entry into other parts of the house. He gave me a few different options and precisely prepared and set traps to the problem areas. I left the service call almost feeling like I had a session with a pest whisperer. (In my case mouse whisperer). I learned a lot about the problem in general and feel that he helped put me on the path to completely rid the house of the mouse problem we were having. Mike was extremely professional and friendly. He surveyed the house and based his solution on the pets and children in our home as well as the information that we were hosting a large party in the home in 4 days. He took his time to carefully move furniture and get into every crevice with gel bait. He provided thorough instructions on how to clean without removing the bait as well as general instructions to help ensure that the ants did not return.

We called Mike Snyder on a Friday for what we thought was a slab ant infestation problem and we wanted it treated immediately. When he came out the next day on Saturday morning on time as scheduled, he immediately determined that it was a termite infestation which he doesn't handle. He was very honest and upfront about what he covers, that he won't be able to serve us, and he didn't try to sell us some treatment for something we didn't need nor want. Mike was very helpful and explained to us what he knew about termites and what we might want to do about it. He gave us names of companies who he trusts that do termite extermination. This was overall a very positive experience. If we had some other pest problem in the future, we would definitely call Mike again. On the phone when we made the appointment, Mike was very clear and upfront about the cost of his services and what exactly is included which we appreciated. There was a minimum charge of $145 which he reduced to a nominal charge of $20 since no treatment was involved.

Mike was very professional. On the phone he gave me the $15 Angies List discount, provided his payment methods, explained some options for our situation, and asked pertinent questions about pets and their food, if wife was pregnant, etc. Although not typical (which I did not expect him to anyway), he made us an appointment only two hours after I called him, as my wife was home and available to greet him. My wife said he was again, very professional and prompt (showed up at exactly 12, when the appointment was for in the range of 12-1pm). He also explained everything as he went along and found lots of areas where we could improve how we have items around the house to deter pests. I would highly recommend Mike!

We were very pleased with the quality of service provided by Township Pest Control Co. We called him because we thought we heard mice in the walls and attic of our house. He later shared that they might be voles instead of mice. The owner gave us suggestions and tips on the phone before ever coming out to the house and without being paid. When our basic efforts did not succeed we called him back and he came out that same day to help remediate the problem. He was very informative and did not make me feel that he was rushed or that this was a routine call, which I'm sure it was. We had a lengthy discussion about how safe the materials he was using were around chidren and the steps he was going to take to help us evict our unwanted house guests. He even brought materials to cover up the holes in the exterior of our house that he thought were the areas the critters were getting in. A few weeks after his visit we have not heard any noise from rodents. We are so happy with the services provided and would highly recommend this company!
