Ehrlich Pest Control

Well, I haven't seen any ants so far, but I have seen other types of spiders and bugs,so whatever they put down didn't kill everything. I still think $369.00 is alot of money for one treatment. I have, I think, 90 days to call again if I see anything.

I had a mouse problem, so I called them. They first sent out a scout to see where the mice were coming in from and then sent out a killer to set up the trap and came back again. I signed up for the 12 month plan to exterminate any mice or insects. There wasn’t anything I did not like about the company. They were punctual and did what they said they would do. They followed up and also explained to us how to avoid this problem in the future. They were professional and very courteous. I would recommend them to others.

I called in a panic because the previous night we had a bat crash into a door between our kitchen and family room. I sequestered myself in the bedroom for over 12 hours. So when I called -on a Saturday- the person who answered the call was extremely polite and helpful. Since we couldn't find it and didn't know what happened to it I really didn't even know what service to ask for. I explained the situation and she suggested she have the technician on call for the weekend give me a call and we could just discuss my situation. He called within 5 minutes. I again explained the events and situation and he suggested he come over and take a look around at no charge! I was so appreciative since I didn't know where to look and my husband didn't have any luck finding it the previous night. Well, he came right over and looked through the house- top to bottom. He showed me all the spaces that the bat could access and be resting; did you know it only takes an opening 3/8" for it to get in?!? He was professional and personable. He was hoping to find it but never did... not for lack of trying. He explained a lot of the myths and educated me on the facts. He reassured me that it was more afraid of me and that we would probably find the little creature on the floor dead from starvation. Since we just moved to this house a few months ago, we were concerned with whats to come in the insect and critter situations. Our lot is wooded and it's a natural concern. He gave me some literature about the company's background and a program for preventative measures that I'm sure we will take advantage of. This gentleman spent well over an hour at our house and though he thoroughly looked everywhere and did not find anything, there was no charge. He did say that perhaps NOT ALL technicians would do that FREE of charge, but since the company is so customer oriented, he feels it was the right thing to do. Also, I mentioned I called them because of the fantastic reviews on Angie's List. He said it was not until recently that they knew how well they were represented on this site. We will be calling early next week for the preventative program and they will be the first we call next time. Even though he did not find/remove the bat, I feel much better educated and now know we have them for a resource.

We had to sign a contract with them to get them to come out. They took care of the carpenter ant problem and we have used them for five years. I think they are pricey. I do get the same technician every time and he is responsive.

He came within a couple days and when he said he would. He was very helpful. He looked at our attic and said he didn't think we had a mouse problem. He was very honest with us. He didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. If I had to have some work done, I would call to have him do it.

It was wonderful. He informed me that there were no signs that termites were there. He also took no money for the inspection or for gas even though I wanted to pay him for coming out.

Great! They treated our house to fully get rid of the ants, not just move them from one section of our home to the other. They were considerate of my schedule and of other family members and pets. Would highly recommend. I've paid alot more for alot less with other companies!

They are very responsive. Last time they came in within fifteen minutes. One of the things I'm annoyed about is that their prices keep going up and they send in too many form letters. They send in one or two guys and they are in and out.

This is a middle-of-the-road company, nothing spectacular. They came, did the job and left without going to any extraordinary effort. They were utterly unremarkable. They may have overcharged me for the services but I'm not sure.

I have bed using them for a year and I'm very really satisfied with their service. I appreciate the fact that if I do see the technician, he informs me of his findings and answers my questions to my satisfaction.

I think they worked out really good. They are real nice guys when they come out. They even put their little booties and stuff on before entering the house. They have never given me a problem at all when they came in my home. I pay them monthly and I tend to think it is a fair price.

They pay great attention to detail. They put booties on when they come inside. They are very professional and go above and beyond for customer service! They are very careful to work around my 4 inside dogs. They are careful to take the humming bird feeders down before spraying. I have been using them for 5 years and I think their prices are reasonable especially for the quality of service that I receive!

They were okay and they seem to have taken care of the problem. I had to pay an upfront fee, which was not bad. They were coming once a month for $36, but I recently just dropped them. I dropped them because I was getting charged for times they did not come out. They were supposed to come once a month, but only came like three times in one year. I think I will just call the city from now on.

They are actually pretty good. I have a contract with them and they come out every three months. I guess they work out pretty good for us. I have no problems at all and if I do, they will come back and take care of it for me. I pay them yearly.

The company is fantastic. My pest control consultant is very thorough and quite friendly. The company is very flexible in scheduling. I have needed someone to come out twice for a problem. A consultant was at my house within an hour. One time is was on a Sunday. I can't say enough about this company. I am very pleased with their service.

I called requesting same day service as we had windows going in when carpenter ants were discovered. The inspector came within two hours and a technician treated the entire house the next day. The following week, when additional ants were discovered outdoors, the technician returned the same day I called for additional treatment to the exposed area. I was pleased with the courteous and helpful initial phone contact, as well as the prompt service on both visits.

Over all it was a good experience. They came for the first inspection when my sister was able to be there and returned the next week on my day off and I had a chance to read the brochures left and make a decision on which form of treatment I would use. The premises was once again inspected and a full explanation given of services, fee's etc. Installation of monitoring traps took very little time. There was a misunderstanding concerning the time for the installation. This was settled to my satisfaction.

The estimator came to our home at the quoted time. When shown the damage of carpenter ants and further questioning of infestation indications, he promptly gave us an estimate & plan of attack! The technician came at a convenient time, as well as with in the time parameters that were quoted by the co. After identifying the areas that were problematic, the technician got down to work. Our only "complaint" was that when we talked to the initial estimator, we explained that we wanted our pool and deck to be treated. The estimator said that it was part of the cost and not a problem. The technician was not aware of this agreement and was somewhat aggravated that this agreement had been made. As the homeowner, I had to indicate that I wanted this service included and "watch" that it was performed. The technician treated our requests and other areas without complaint, but would not have seen these trouble areas on his own. We will get quarterly treatments at $39/mo. for at least 6 mo.

Exactly what I was looking for; they were very professional and easy to work with.

No work performed. A representative, Mike Mapel, came to our home, at my request, to view numerous holes in the ground around our front walk. He said they were made by chipmunks and Erlich did not get rid of them. However, Mike was courteous, very knowledgeable, on time and generous with his time even though there was no chance for Erlich to do any work for us. I was very impressed.

If I ever have another pest problem, I would not hesitate to use Ehrlich Pest Company again. Everyone at the company was very polite, punctual and professional. I met with Thomas Moeller, the District Manager, to go over the procedures; talked to Barb Yurcovich on the phone many times; and then met with Rick Ruffing, who busted his butt doing all the work. Ms. Yurcovich was also very prompt in returning phone calls. Mr. Ruffing is a very kind, skilled and competent man. He took very good care of my house, and even though he didn't have to, he fixed a few bricks that had come loose near where he was working. He made sure his work and the final product looked good. You could not even tell where he had worked, but I'm sure the bats know exactly where the work was done.

My initial phone call was promptly returned by Mike, the company representative, who came to inspect our home and property. Mike took the time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explained the recommended service. His information paralleled the fact sheets from Penn State's Cooperative Extension website. Bob, the service tech, was also very knowledgeable and pleasant.

The overall experience was positive. The employee who gave us the estimate were thorough and very helpful. The actual exterminator worked quickly and efficiently.

OUR TECHNICIAN, BILL, WAS WONDERFUL! HE HAS BEEN OUT TO OUR HOME A FEW TIMES AND HAS BEEN PUNCTUAL AND FRIENDLY ON EACH VISIT. HE MENTIONED HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR 30 YEARS SO HE KNOWS HIS STUFF! I HAD HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT ERLICH FROM SOME OF OUR RELATIVES AS WELL AS FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND IT ALL RINGS TRUE. THEY DO A SUPER JOB!

I WAS PLEASED WITH THEM. THE SALESMAN WAS NICE AND THE SERVICEMAN WAS EXCELLENT.
