Bauer Specialty provides insulation, roofing, and lifetime no-clog covered gutter systems. We specialize in open-cell, closed-cell, and cellulose insulations. Our philosophy about building insulation is different from many other companies. Since your home has its own unique set of circumstances, we don’t approach it with a “one-product-fits-all” attitude. We use quality insulation materials because their proven performance and air sealing quality lasts longer and saves you money year after year. We offer full-service roofing installations for asphalt, rubber, metal, and roof coatings for both residential and commercial properties. Our gutter division specializes in standard gutters (5" or 6"), half-round, copper, heated gutters, lifetime no-clog gutter covers, soffit, and fascia.

Hi, we are a roofing company and have 10 years plus experience in roofing. We also do soffit & fascia. We are a professional crew who takes pride in our work. We worry about the quality of are jobs rather than quantity. We are working hard to build a great reputation. We don't take shortcuts, treat every home as our own. As I said each employee has 10 or more years experience, as a company we are new. We are priding ourselves on quality work, earning a great reputation, and being budget friendly. ***WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING REPAIR JOBS ONLY THROUGH THE WINTER TIME***

"-9/30/22 contacted new horizon about having a leaking roof. -10/4/22 work was done, paid upon completion. -next rain roof kept leaking, called new horizon they responded and did more work. - after a relatively short rain, water kept coming in worst than before, -11/11/22 there was a major rain storm i needed to use a bucket to contain the water, called them and i was told that they were to busy and could not respond for a few days. weather got worst got snow on the roof i had no choice but to contact another roofing company they responded that very same day had to remove the snow and flame dry the media (shingles) before doing the repair. I contacted horizon roofing and talked to them about having another company redo the work to contain the leak. I asked them for some money back (not all) but they refused to deal in good faith."

Drywall insulation services FAQs

On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.

The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.

If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.

The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.

On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:

  • Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot

  • Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot

  • Batt: $2–$4 per square foot

  • Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot

  • Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot

  • Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
