Description of Work: We used Davey Tree Service and trusted them to take care of our trees. They did not and at the moment we have three dead trees. All three of these trees were supposedly taken care of by them. When they did come out and fix some other problems we had, due to weather, not their care, an unsatisfactory job was done and when contacted we were promised a fix and surprise no one ever came out. Needless to say we cancelled our service. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: We had two trees that were not doing well in our front yard. First, they did very nice work removing the trees and grinding the stumps without disturbing the underground dog fence wire that was very near the tree. After we chose the replacement tree type the new ones, which were very healthy were planted and mulched. Their representatives were informative, but not pushy.

Description of Work: Significant trimming of approximately 200 foot bamboo hedge. As usual Davey was on time, they completed the work efficiently, making good suggestions along the way. I have used Davey in the past and will certainly use them again.

Description of Work: First DAVEY sent one of its Certified Arborist, Jerome Ocker, to assess the job that we wanted done. He was clearly an expert in his field, generously answered all my questions, was patient and thorough in his explanations about all concerns that I raised. There were two trees that needed attention, the removal of a small Hackberry and a large old Mulberry, approximately 42ft tall, needed pruning. |Three young men arrived a few weeks later to do the work. They skillfully removed the small hackberry and then trimmed and shaped the old Mulberry. They were extremely knowledgable about this tree, attentive to details and informative when I asked questions. They appeared to really enjoy their work. When they finished, the tree was more beautiful than I had ever seen it. I will not hesitate to call DAVEY in the future.

Description of Work: Davies Tree is absolutely top notch. They gave me incredible expert service and advice (both for myself and for insurance company) when we lost trees in a catastrophic wind storm. This was on first meeting. We had found Davies via their stirling reviews on Angies List, and I'm glad to add my "excellent" vote. After the catastrophe, Davies were just as good for regular service and maintenance as they had been in the initial catastrphe.
