Description of Work: Certainly not the most reasonable but they have a good selection. Installation was wonderful. No other place mentioned leveling if our cabinets not level. For a small fee they came out and measured and leveled everything. We had problem with our granite staining. They sent someone out to put a second coat of sealer on but the problem persisted. They didn't really want to go any further however, i pushed and finally two months later they sent someone out to put a third coat of sealer on and the solved the problem. We spent a lot of money and paid a premium for this vendor and expected good customer service. i should not have had to push back. in the end we are happy and have recommended this vendor for the reasons above.

Description of Work: We went to their showroom and spent a fair amount of time looking at their slabs of granite. We could not find one that we loved. The woman who showed us around was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. We just did not a color of granite that we wanted in our kitchen.

Description of Work: We were shopping granite counter tops for our kitchen, & went up to Suburban because they are local. They were very nice & helpful but a bit pricey so we ended up going with another company. Most of the places we went to (4 places) were pretty comparable on the price of the granite, but everything else was almost double what we ended up paying, e.g. The cutouts, the removal of old counter, the edging upgrade. They do have beautiful slabs & backsplash tiles. We would have used them had we not found a cheaper place.

Description of Work: Went to the showroom to price granite for kitchen remodel. Mary Lou was very nice and helpful. Just didn't find a granite that we fell in love with. Ended up choosing granite somewhere else because we loved the stone they had. Suburban was comparable in price, and very helpful, just didn't have something we wanted.

Description of Work: We purchased a 60" granite countertop for my upstairs bath and were relatively pleased with the product and service. We did require a service call because the seams of the granite were not properly sealed at installation. We subsequently had some repairs done to our kitchen granite, which were so poorly done that the repair failed within a week. We decided to give them another chance and went back approximately a year later to purchase a small slab for the power room. I guess because we were only purchasing a small slab, we were vitually ignored and ultimately left the premises. We try to give local businesses first pick, but will not return to Suburban.

Description of Work: We had checked out several granite suppliers for our countertop re-do, and checked out Suburban Granite. As luck would have it, we were able to get a great deal on our granite and install as they were having a special sale ( most probably due to the housing downturn ). The female sales person was patient with us and helped us tremendously. The install was very professional and done on time and correctly. We would highly recommend them and will use them again on future projects.

Description of Work: COMPANY HAS BEEN USED TO PURCHASE GRANITE COUNTERTOPS FOR VARIOUS JOBS; THEREFORE, THE COST HAS VARIED ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OF THE COUNTER BEING REDONE.
