McBrothers Overhead Doors

I solicited phone quotes to replace an old nonfunctional garage door opener from multiple Angie's List vendors. McBrothers by far the most timely response, and gave multiple options to choose from. Their prices were competitive and the staff very customer service oriented on the phone. The actual install itself was equally impressive. Jimmy was the installer - extremely knowledgeable, and took his time to ensure the entire door was set properly. Even though he was there to replace the opener, inspected every portion of the door to ensure was safe and working appropriately. Really took him time to ensure the opener was installed perfectly. I was the last appointment late on a Friday afternoon, so he could've easily rushed through the job but he did not. I chose the liftmaster 8550, it's great and has all the bells and whistles you need. I highly recommend McBrother's and will use them in the future.

We were very satisfied with the service performed by McBrothers. Of all the vendors we contacted, McBrothers had the best price. The installer, Jay, was very professional and courteous. He took the time to answer all our questions and explain the instructions in detail. Everything works perfectly! We highly recommend McBrothers if you need anything related to garage doors.

We called three Angie’s list garage door people to give us prices. They were the best price. They also had the best warrant on their product. They were fantastic. The day they came out to give you an estimate they called on the phone and said we are going to be a little late. They were going to be at noon and the guy called I am going to be a little late he said I am tied up and I do not know what the terrific situation is. He said there is something. There were there at 12:10 ten minutes later. They were really excellent. They installed and it was fantastic. He showed me all kinds of things without taking care of the doors. I do not know if other people would because it is not something you buy often so you do not know what people tend to tell about the product. This is where you are going to lubricate going to want to lubricate it. You are not going to want to use this. You are not going to want to use a petroleum product. We like to use this. Yeah Ill leave you this half tube of this. The price was great with that two garage doors with electric openers on them, big doors. They were really excellent. They are really good. They are not like the little like fiber glass sample house doors. All the other people were on time they were very good too but. Their product had a 7 year warranty on all of its parts. They were all the same on the motors and the door finishes and things like that but McBothers also included the track and work and all the parts. That was a big difference for Oliver too. Oliver's warranty is on all their work it is not just the manufacturer’s part. People do not want to warrant their work to a degree. They were really good. I called on the phone one time because my one remote had lost its contact with the transformer. The one did not work. I had kept reading the book to figure out why I didn't work. I got the owner of the company on her cellphone that got the number connected too and I explained it to him. He said you are too far away from it. When you do it the first time you got to be like right up close to it. I stood underneath it. It was perfect. They were really good. They just were really organized efficient one of the issues was were going to go away for a couple of weeks. When they were going to do it, it did not work. They rearranged their schedule to get it done. We had two garage doors one was broken. The other one worked. We had a house sitter staying with our house while we are going we wanted the door to work. We did not have to worry about the keys and what not but we did not want anyone working on it when we weren't here. They have rearranged everything to get it done before. They were done like three days before we left. One guy I could not believe it came in and did that whole it both doors. A different type of installation. The big springs aren’t there any more. They don’t use those. The job went great. I wrote him a note and actually gave the guy that installed it a tip a $50 because it just was so good. The product itself looks like phenomenal. I actually I referred them to do my daughter's.

There were several problems with the installation because of the uneven concrete of my garage floor but the installer came out several times to try to remedy the situation with all possible solutions until it was as close to perfect as possible. The new garage door looks beautiful and adds a freshness and renewed curb appeal to my home.

I’d give them an A. They were out the next day, took care of it quickly and efficiently. The door and opener works like a charm, I am very pleased with the results.

I cannot say enough about Pat and his team @ McBrothers. Pat was informative and honest, his team was on time, polite, professional and did a great job. They walked me through everything they did and answered all my questions. Just in case anyone who is reading this is wondering, I am not connected to McBrothers at all, I'm a true customer. It is rare to find this level of quality and customer services these days, so when I encounter it, I feel I have to spread the word so other people that need this type of work done can benefit from the level of service I received. Went we'll but door began sticking again 3 wkd after service so rep came out free of charge to attempt to resolve unfortunately problem persists with lining of door due to paint sticking

I contacted McBrothers Overhead Doors originally 4/12/14 to replace my garage door that had damage from a car backing into it. The rep I dealt with (Ryan) immediately returned my call and scheduled a free consultation to come out and inspect the damage and provide a quote. After inspection he said a new door would be costly and was not warranted. He suggested the replacement of six of the doors panels which would cost a fraction of the price of a new door. The only drawback was that I would have to wait close to a month for installation due to ordering, shipping and receipt of the materials. He promptly returned all phone calls and emails. The work was completed on 5/12/14, there were no surprises, the door looks fantastic, and the whole job was done at a fraction of the cost of replacing a brand new garage door. Very professional and ethical organization and I'm beyond satisfied with the work completed.

.They were good, they were able to use some spare parts they had and gave us a good Angie's list deal. I was very happy with their service. It was quick and he didn't have any issues. He also fixed a few things for free. It was extremely favorable. The technician seemed reasonable and down to earth. He seemed like he really wanted to help me out.

McBrothers is the only company who would install a Sommer Door opener and the install was seamless. If you do some light research on Amazon, Lowes or Home Depot, you will see that this is by far the best opener on the market. You can buy it on amazon for approx $300 and install yourself or McBrothers can do everything for you at $450 (2013 prices). I think it's money well spent. They were able to install the door within two days of my first call. They also took time to adjust and repair the springs in the door so it would be usable.

Scheduled for 9am, he surprised me at 8:30am. Advised it would take approximately 2 hours, I gave him the opener and he said he would let me know if he needed me. He got it installed, had me come out to set the code on the outdoor keypad then cleaned up. He took the old opener, parts and the box from the new one and disposed of them for me. Took him about 1 hour 45 minutes total. He also advised me I needed to replace some pieces on my door in the next few months, not pushy, just advise. Overall very pleased with the service. I probably could've installed it myself, but that probably would've ended badly 4 hours later with a lot of cursing. It was well worth the $125 and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Great working with them. We got a detailed estimate for the door and we're able to pick the options we wanted with no problems. After a two week delivery time, the garage door and motor were installed and work beautifully. The installers were really nice guys and they gave us a great new setup. There was a small hiccup in that the motor wasn't on the work order, but it got resolved and taken care of same day. We even got a call offering apologies for the mixup. We felt like this was excellent customer service. While I hope we won't need a new garage door anytime soon, I would absolutely call McBrothers again.

This Company is great. I called them for a price they came out the same day gave me a quote. They ordered my doors and set the date for installation. It took less then 2 weeks for my doors to come in. They showed up on time for the installation and the crew could not have done a better job. The guy's were very professional and hard working. My garage was cleaner when they left then it was before they got there. VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK!!!!
