completed the job at the price quoted and in a single day. very professional and thorough clean-up process around the exterior of the house. very respectful of our house and items on our deck.

Overall OK. But installers did not snap lines to help keep rows in straight line.

Kris came out within a few days of us contacting his company. Of the various companies I contacted he appeared the most knowledgeable and interested in my specific problems. Unfortunately weather delays meant the work could not be started for another 2 months. Once started however, the work proceeded rapidly. The cleanup afterwards was thorough. The roof is beautiful and no leaks to date. We are very happy with the job and the professionalism displayed by the entire crew. It was not the cheapest quote, but I believe we got good value.We paid extra for a GAF Golden Pledge manufacturer's complete warranty and are awaiting their final inspection.

It was an excellent experience and I am extremely happy with the work performed. Very professional company, it was a pleasure working with Kris from start to finish. The price was fair (I did get 2 other estimates), he answered my questions, explained the process and was on-site numerous times during the install including a follow-up visit the day after completion. The crew was very efficient, hard workers and did a great job, including meticulous clean up of all debris from the flower beds, lawn and deck. They even made sure all the shrubs along the front of the house were well protected to prevent damage during the install process. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Griffith was actually the fourth roofing company we had come out to give an estimate. I appreciated that Kris got straight to the point and was honest in answering the questions and concerns that we had. The price was also the best in comparison to the other companies. The work was done quickly and professionally. It took one day as promised. Kris was always available and quick to respond to emails. Customer service was top-notch and everything went smoothly and without a whole lot of effort on my part. Would definitely do business with Griffith Exteriors again.

We had storm damage from a tree that fell. We decided to replace the roof and skylights but also needed siding,windows and gutters to be replaced. My contact was Kris. Kris and and his team did a excellent job from start to finish and cleaned up nicely. I had gotten several estimates and their pricing was competitive and Kris worked with me on that as well. Kris is friendly and was on the job to oversell it. I have not used a contractor in many years so I was solely going from Angie's list. I would recommend him 100%

Kris is the type of provider you know you are going to hire right away. He is honest, jovial, and doesnt give you any of the " i am trying to sell you" feelings. He showed me what I wanted. We talked price and the job was set up. The morning of the job 6 men showed up with one foreman. They were on my roof before I left for work at 8 and I had a new roof when I got home at 5. All services should go this easily!

it went great. the guys came in and finished the roof in one day. the roof looks great and ken was the first roofer that actually listened to me as a woman and agreed that the leak i was having in my first floor den was not from the upstairs bathroom but from a problem with the flashing on the roof. he had the best price also which always helps.

The contractor and crew arived on time completed the job on time and were couteous and protected the area while working and did a great clean up job.

Company arrived on time and was well prepared to do the job. The workers knew what they had to do and went about it quickly and efficiently. A worker helped me with removing pictures that I did not have enough time to complete. I appreciated the help. The company completed the job in one day and cleaned up my property well. I was very pleased with the work.

Services not used. I inquired of Angies' List about why a promotional credit of AngiesCash was not showing in my account. Angies then told me that the service provider did not service my area. --This form requires that a grade and service date be entered. There should be an option for N/A, since services not used, and no grade is accurate and no service date is accurate. I will select "A", although this narrative is the more accurate info. I would rate the company's service description as "A"--it sounded very appealing and the reason why I was interested in trying the company."

They were on time and professional. I thought the price was good and they were very easy to work with. I was happy with their work. It was sometimes difficult getting in contact with them but that does not really reflect their work.

The quality of the work was ok. The crew worked fast and efficiently. Unfortunately, we had two big issues with Griffith's Exterior which prevents us from ever doing work with them again (and we need a new roof!) 1. The job was never completed. The shutters were never ordered or installed. We called many times the month after the siding was installed but Mr. Griffith never called us back. We had to hire another siding contractor (Dale Rimmer) to finish the job. 2. The 2nd issue was that several members of the crew smoked and threw cigarette butts on the ground around our house. We were finding cigarette butts in our landscaping for months afterwards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated to respond to Mr. Griffith's response to our review on 12/28/13: We hired Griffith Exteriors directly at the recommendation of our window contractor. The siding portion of the job for which he was hired was completed on Wed, 11/2/11. Mr. Griffith said he would email us the final invoice. On Mon, 11/7/11, we sent an email to Mr. Griffith looking for the invoice. He replied that he had sent it to the window contractor. He then forwarded it to us. We replied on 11/9/11 with a list of 8 items from the project that needed to be fixed or cleaned up prior to payment. We also finalized our shutter order which was an increase of 2 pairs of shutters over the original quote. Mr. Griffith came out on 11/11/11 to fix the issues we had identified. He received full payment at that time (via check which cleared on 11/15) and assured us that the shutters would be installed within a week or so. We left him a message after 10 days and he didn't call us back. We called and emailed numerous times over the next month. Mr. Griffith finally sent us an email on 12/28 with an apology that he'd been "out of town" and that he would "advise an install date asap". We never heard from Mr. Griffith again. He didn't deliver or install our shutters. Mr. Griffith left loose ends on our project because he NEVER completed it. We finally gave up waiting on Griffith Exteriors to complete the job and hired Dale Rimmer Siding in Chalfont. Dale Rimmer was very responsive and completed the shutter installation within the time frame promised.

Kris Griffith and his team were prompt, respectful, informative, and completed the job on time and exceeded our expectations. It looks great and we were 100% satisfied.

When they got on the job, instead of taking two days, they got the roof done in a day. The gutters where replaced, once they got here, in a couple of hours. They did a very good job replacing both, and did a excellent job cleaning up. The only thing wrong, which wasn't all that bad, was that they were a day late starting each phase of the job. Also, their price was very competitive.

They explained things in detail and they pointed out if they thought things were not necessary to do. They scheduling was fine and no real issues. The cleanup was fine.

Griffith Exteriors replaced my entire roof on my house. As portions of the roof had to be done due to storm damage, and I opted for additional work to be done at the same time to keep all of my roofing at the same age, Kris was instrumental in coordinating this effort with my Insurance Company to make sure that I got the maximum return that I was due.

We hired someone else for an immediate fix, but we were not happy with the result, and are still wondering why we never heard from Kris again.

Mr. Griffith came out to inspect our roof. He was extremely nice and honest. He answered all of my questions, in a very truthful way. He did not try to sell us what we did not need, and he justified all of his answers. I have complete faith that he is an honest businessman. Even though I offered to pay for half of the cost up front, he declined, and told me to pay once the work was done. We asked him if he could cut back our neighbor's tree branches and fix a minor siding issue we had. He agreed, and did not charge us for this. There was 2 Angie's List coupons we could have used, and he calculated the cost both ways to see which one was the best for us. The old roof was stripped off, and the new roof was installed all in one day. That night we had a heavy rain, and we found no leakage. The roof itself looks beautiful. My wife is very hard to please, and after the roof was installed, she walked around the house looking for nails and shingles on our property. She found 2 nails, and one was under the dumpster. She was extremely happy with the work, and that is saying something. When you read the reviews on Angies List, you will notice 2 things. Almost all people are extremely happy with the work of Griffiths. The second is that there can be some communication problems. Both of these statements are true. I have never called Griffiths where I talked to an actual live person, it always went into a voicemail. Sometimes I would have to call multiple times in order to get Mr. Griffiths to call back. While this is a negative, it is extemely minor to the honesty and quality of work you receive from Mr. Griffith. I would highly recommend the work of Mr. Griffiths if you are getting a new roof.

Called to setup appt for estimate made with their office - Kris arrived at appt time - Only there a short time - Did not need to climb on roof to measure because uses sky service for this - Had estimate (actually lowest of all 6 we received) emailed by that evening - Followed with call next day to make sure estimate received and if any questions - Permit part of quote - Credit Card use with no addl charge for using - Did not ask for deposit - Said approx. 4 weeks to schedule depending on weather - Called to confirm job timing a little after 3 weeks - Arrived at 7 am as scheduled - Did front of roof first day and cleaned ALL up before they left that night - Did same for back of roof and metal over 2 bay windows next day - Has own company crew to do job - All workers very polite and 2 what-seemed-like foreman/workers there at all time - Made us feel very confident - Kris arrived early second morning and asked if we were satisfied with all aspects of project so far - We had to leave for day and when we returned property was back to normal and roof/metal looked GREAT - Dumpster was picked up by 10 next am - Our lawn service walked lawn next day and found lawn/flower beds clean of debris - Kris called next day to see if we saw anything that needed to be addressed immediately - An overall very, very POSITIVE experience - Also, we were undecided on color to use so Kris offered to put a bundle of each color laid out on roof to help us decide - and we easily made up our mind.

Griffith was prompt and professional from estimate through the finished job. In addition, they came in as the low bid out of three..

After four attempts myself, and one attempt by my husband, we have never talked to anyone other than the receptionist. She claimed to have e-mailed...however, twice, I never received anything. We needed this repair immediately, and they did accomodate us with that, however we were looking to get an estimate for an entire new roof. With their lack of communication skills, we hesitate to use this contractor.

I called and they had someone in the area who came right out. The roofer went up on the roof and the office called me and said he could not find anything. I had a neighbor let them in and they saw where the leak was and he went back up and the office called me back said that there were two nail pops and some missing nails that they replaced. We had a rain storm a couple days later and while the ceiling was not dripping, it was still damp and I called back and the office said that they would have the roofer contact me directly because he would need to gain access to my attic to check that out. I followed up on that phone call and was given the same response. It's now been two weeks and I still have not received a return phone call. I was away on vacation and left plastic under the area and had a neighbor checking while I was away to ensure it did not drip. I realize it's a tough leak because it only drips when the wind blows in a certain direction, but I had hoped for a return phone call. I certainly appreciate their initial responsiveness and I appreciate that they fixed the worst of the problem, but they have no follow-up. If they had totally fixed the problem the first time I would rate them an A, and if they have returned one of my follow up phone calls I would still rate them an A because I know leaks are tough to locate, but there has been no follow up, and that is disappointing. I would use them again if they improve with follow-up.

I purchased a big deal for the service, and he did a nice job. We spoke on the phone, and he came by and fixed it while I was at work, and so I never got to meet him.
