Molyneaux Tile Carpet Wood

The sales process was very pleasant, and we appreciated the salesperson's expertise regarding what would work best in our home. He was patient when we had to change our mind and look at more samples than we had expected. There was a back order from the supplier, so our floor arrived later than expected. This did not pose a problem as we did not have any deadlines to adhere to. Molyneaux kept us updated regarding the status of the floor, and were pleasant to speak with during the whole process. The floor looks great!

We chose Molyneaux for laminate flooring installation in our kitchen and dining room in February 2015. We were very pleased with the work and the sales representative, Tim Clark, that we decided to consider them for carpet installation in our family room and office. After receiving a quote from Molyneaux and a competitor, we went with Molyneaux for the installation of our carpet. Unlike the competitor Tim was friendly and seemed to care about making the process as easy as possible. He explained the different types of carpet choices available and the pros and cons of each. He also reviewed the warranties with each type and what was covered. He was extremely helpful with color selection based on the room and entry way and future plans to paint. Molyneaux?s prices were very reasonable and slightly less than the other quote. The two men who came to do the install were friendly and pleasant and took great care in moving our furniture and placing it back where it belonged. They were quick and did a great job! We are so happy with our new carpet. We definitely will use them for any future flooring needs.

We met with salesman Tim Clark at the Molyneaux on Verona Road, explained we wanted to carpet the steps & landing leading down to our basement. He directed us to their inventory of berber carpet & I was able to choose one of good quality & neutral color. Tim came to the house about 2 weeks later, measured the area and gave us the final estimate. There is an outside door that opens over the carpeted area & we were concerned about clearance but Tim told us the installer could cut the door if necessary - at an additional cost. This proved to be necessary but the additional charge was very fair & saved us the hassle of finding someone to cut the door. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Tim was a great salesman, personable and knowledgeable about his product. I was happy to patronize a family owned business and everything was done promptly & in a reasonable time frame.

After receiving a few quotes for laminate flooring for our kitchen and dining room, we decided to go with Molyneaux. For the total cost of the project, Molyneaux came in slightly less than the other company we were closely considering. What made us go with Molyneaux is the comfort we felt that there weren't going to be any "hidden" surprise costs during the project. Our salesperson, Tim Clark, gave us great suggestions as to color and style based on our decor and came up with other options to give us the finished look we wanted. Tim gave a 3-5 day estimate for the job due to our current flooring being a terra cotta tile. Well, we were pleasantly surprised that the job took just one day! The floors are beautiful and all the little touches Tim suggested are awesome! The one problem we had was miscommunication over a panel (floorboard) placed in front of the dishwasher. I called Tim after the project who quickly wanted to rectify the situation. A manager also called to have whatever I wanted corrected. In the end we left it like it is as it does look nice and finished. It was nice to know that they were willing to correct anything we weren't completely satisfied with. We are now considering Molyneaux for a carpet project.

Sales Representative, Justin Lataille, was very polite, courteous and professional. He provided numerous carpet samples at my house so that I could better see the carpet color in the proper lighting of my rooms. The price was better than expected for the quality of the padding and carpet. The installers arrived on time and took great care removing all the heavy furniture out of the rooms prior to removing old padding and carpet. They cleaned up the floor and replaced tacking before laying down the padding and carpet. The carpet was power stretched and I had many areas in the living room that needed cut out. Once carpet was layed, the furniture was moved back into the rooms and placed where I requested. I have not had rugs installed in over 25 years, and I was very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the work. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience with them.

Everything went smoothly from our first contact with Bob Murrell to the installation. The installers showed up on time and were very professional and courteous. There was a small problem with how the rug had been cut. The installer explained what the problem was and got on the phone immediately with the office. They had to sew two small sections around the fireplace in an area that does not show. I know it was sewn, but I would not be able to show you where it had been done if you asked to see it. The office made an immediate price adjustment, without being asked to, because the rug was not all one piece. I'm more than pleased with the work that was done and will be calling Molyneaux for our next carpet.

It was a positive experience. The sales person did a nice job of letting us know what our options were. The installers were very professional and did a good job. The rugs are high quality and look nice.

We were very impressed! I had visited the McKnight Road showroom several times and the salespeople were always friendly and offered to help, and they let me look around on my own when I wanted to. When I had questions, they answered them. We had an in house estimate, and the salesperson was very patient and understanding. We had scheduled the estimate right in the middle of some work being done by another company and it was a little loud in the house, but he was not bothered by this at all and answered all of our questions. When it came time to install, the installers were professional and did a great job. They moved furniture for us, and you can not see the seams from the hall to the other rooms at all. The only negative we could think of was a little bit of clean up not done at the top of the basement stairs and in one of the closets, but that was just a handful of carpet scrap fibers, no big deal at all. Overall it was a very easy process and we are thrilled with our new carpet.

Excellent job overall. After several unsuccessful attempts to complete these projects, we stopped at the Molyneaux Showroom on McKnight Road where the salesman Harry was extremely helpful. He helped us make our selections and set up an appointment quickly so that we could see our choices in the home. He suggested products that helped us keep within our budget. Our installation was set up at the time of the sale and Molyneaux service reps checked in with us several times to let us know that our products were in stock and confirm times. Installation was great by both the tile installer who worked by himself on a rather intricate job. He even made recommendations that helped the final project looked even better than we had expected. The carpet installers were quick and efficient and did an excellent job. Both installation times did a great job of cleaning after the job was completed! We would definitely recommend Molyneaux .

The installations both went smoothly...no complaints at all. Both pair of installers were professional, courteous, and friendly. They were on time, and got the jobs done quickly. They were clean, and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't leave any garbage behind for me to pick up. My only negative comment is that I should have checked the door clearance in the spare room. The installers left quickly and by the time I checked they were gone. The carpet rubs on the carpet on two doors.

I wanted my carpet installed on June 26th because I had to have chairlift removed to put new carpet on stairs however when the tile came in early they wanted to do it early which I agreed and Gene from Molyneaux came and he loosened the bolts on the chair lift so he could put the tile under the ramp for the tile he did a great job and he was very professional he then got help from Dave and they did a great job they cleaned up with no issues. Dave came back the next day and filled in the tile, They both were very friendly as well. Thank you Gene and Dave. Then I told my salesman Mike that I wanted my carpet to be put in on Thursday 26th not any earlier because the lift had to come completely off. So on Wednesday the 25th the warehouse called and said that they had an appointment on Friday 27th to put in carpet so I had to call them back and tell them that it was suppose to be put in on Thursday 26th and then they changed it with no issues. So on the 26th they showed up when they said they would and they did a wonderful job they showed up at 9:30am and they didn't leave till around 5:30- 6:00pm. I cant remember there names (sorry guys) but they did a great job. Thank You Molyneaux you really have some great workers. They are alittle pricey but the work that you get is so Professional and I do know about people that do bad jobs. Yes I would recommend them.

It was excellent. The salesman was very prompt and friendly. The installation went smoothly and was quick. The carpet and tile looks great. We are very satisfied. We also got carpet in our living room 4 years ago from the same company and it also is holding up very well and we are pleased!

They came to my house and showed me all of the carpet samples. They were very helpful, and gave me a lot of good information. They installed new carpet for me, and did an excellent job. It was a very good working experience with the owner and installers. They were very accomodating, and kept me updated of their arrival times, and were very polite and professional.

Customer Service is amazing. They bring everything to you and offered excellent advice. The installers did a great job. The carpet had a pattern in it and the end result looks seamless!

I had a problem with sales person lying to me about Co.having their own in house installers.Then installers come and tell me their sub contractors.i won't deal with Molyneaux anymore.Can't be trusted to be honest.

this was our first carpet purchase ever. sales person was nice, but did the whole "let me step outside and call my manager to see if we can get you that deal". The sales rep kept saying how high quality their pad was, which was a concern of ours from the start. I should have researched pad thickness in general before even meeting with a rep, so shame on me. We were OK with the price, so in trusting the reps word abput the pad, we said yes. we had a floor drain in the middle of our basement, so we asked the rep what was the best way to handle it. He said the installers were very knowledgeable about that sort of thing and they would council me on it at installation time. he said there was 2 or 3 ways to handle it, and he recommended putting a brass ring around it and leaving it exposed. When they got here to install, the installers had no personality (barely even communication skills), when I asked how to handle the drain, the guy said, the only thing to do was to cover it up, which was what we wanted, but we were expecting at least a few +/-'s of either way. after they were done, the installers said "we're all done, none of your doors can open or close now cause.of the carpet thickness" W**!!! why were we never consulted that none of our basement doors would be able to open and close (door to garage and 3 closets). this is definitely something i think a reputable installer should do. at least give a heads up. I feel like it was omitted in order to insure the sale. the rep saw or bare concret floors when he walked through our basement. we choose a midlevel catpet since it was going in the basement for a kids play area, we took comfort in the high end pad that we were told about. the carpet is mid thickness but it barely feels like there is even a pad there. also, there is a lower point on our ceiling from a hvac duct, and the installers chipped a 1x1" of plaster off of it, and didnt even mention that it happened, they just swept up the parts that fell and left. I dont think I would give them my business again. I kept waiting for a customer sevice follow up phone call, by5t none came.

Molyneaux did a great job removing and replacing my living room carpet. The installers were great. They helped me secure some loose floor boards and did a professional job. I have used Molyneaux in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

It went great! Graydon came to show us the samples about a week and a half before the installation. He was really helpful answering our questions and also giving us time to discuss without being pushy. The installers arrived when expected and were done in just a couple hours. The carpet looks wonderful, and we are thrilled with it.

We needed to get some carpet replaced in our new home. We looked around at some other stores, and the price was okay, but the quality wasn't great, which was especially apparent after we saw the samples at Molyneaux. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but Sam showed us a lot of different options and crunched the numbers for each scenario. He was very patient with us and not very pushy. He and the installers were very prompt and professional when they came to our home. We ended up purchasing engineered hardwood and carpet for three bedrooms and a lot of closets. Installation took a little longer than anticipated, which is okay because we know that they took the time to make sure it was done right. We love our new floors and will use Molyneaux again for future flooring projects.

This was the second time working with them. Again, everything went smoothly and Sam was great to work with. The job went as planned without any problems.

We've had our new carpet for about 6 weeks now, and I am very impressed with the quality at this point. Our experience started with a phone call, and our sales rep, Bob, was very helpful on the phone and gave me his cell number. We had a few phone conversations just to find out if what we wanted was in our current price range and worth a home visit to look at samples. We then arranged a time for him to come out. It took a little longer than expected to measure the house, but it was a thorough job. Choosing a short list of samples wasn't easy, but we then got price estimates on a few styles. I do wish the pricing scheme had been a little bit.... more transparent. For example, with Molyneaux, there was a "sale" and a "special" going on, and then a cash discount, etc. before arriving at our final price quote. Then a little bit of negotiation. However, I called a few competitors and I got similar price estimates without all those hoops to jump through. We went with molyneaux because of their reputation, longevity, and warranty but I wasn't impressed with the price games and it was sort of like buying a car. So, we had a carpet picked. We set an install date. All was good. I get a phone call a few weeks before install to say there was a manufacturing issue and the carpet wouldn't be ready in time. We coordinated with my husband's work schedule and chose a new date. Two days before the new date, I called Bob to check in (I hadn't yet received a confirmation call) just to find out that there was still a problem with the manufacture and that we were upgraded to a thicker level of our carpet at no cost. On one hand, that was terrific, but at the same time I do wish that there was more communication on this before the install. I believe Bob didn't even know more than 1-2 days before that so somewhere else in the company there was a bit of a communication breakdown with us. There could have been a reason we didn't want thicker carpet, and I would have liked to been more in the loop. The install went fine. Two things I would like to note -- one, that we wanted to keep our threshholds because it matched our trim (and we spent a small fortune on them!). However, the installers replaced the nails with black ones that don't match. In all the threshholds. Even though some of the nails were obviously fine. So now we have cherry wood colored threshholds with black nails... except that we had a couple threshholds that didn't contact the carpet with the original matching nails in it. I'm pretty disappointed because it seemed like they could have replaced the ones near, say, the upstairs bathrooms and left the ones in the dining room/living room/kitchen matching, but that's not how it was done. I understand this was partly done because of our request, but I wish that it had been thought out a little bit better aesthetically. The other comment I have about the install is that there is now a 2" gash in our drywall in the sitting area of the master bedroom. I only use that area for laundry, so I didn't notice it for a couple days but it hadn't been there prior. It's too deep to have been from our toddler who never goes over there anyway. I didn't bother saying anything to our rep though, because having them patch the drywall would have just made it look worse (the wall is painted and not white). I have no interest in a giant white patch on my wall as then I'd just have to repaint the entire wall, buy more paint, etc. I wish it had been mentioned though, because it's pretty noticeable. So back to the thicker carpet. It now meant that all of our upstairs doors wouldn't close because the carpet was too thick. So we had to schedule a time for yet another person to come out and trim all our doors. My husband could have done it, but we didn't want the extra hassle with the toddler. Overall, I am happy with our carpet choice and it was installed well. Most of the process went just fine and was pretty painless (except on the pocketbook!). I'm glad we did it. I do have to touch base with Bob as we were supposed to get a bottle of carpet cleaner except it was on backorder.

Based on past conversations on coloring and style, Bob came with some samples to look over while he measured the rooms. After choosing two different carpets, Bob crunched the numbers and gave us pricing. When the pricing was a little higher than our budget, Bob worked with us to find a great carpet that fit our price range and that had a great warranty. We set an installation date roughly three weeks from our appointment. Molyneaux then contacted us directly a few days before our set date and were able to install the carpet a few days earlier. We appreciated that Molyneaux's costs per square foot included all service costs, so there were no hidden fees at the end. In addition, we wanted to work with a company with its own installers, who did a great job. They finished the entire floor in one day and had it looking clean when they left. While Molyneaux's pricing may have been a little higher than others we had quotes from, the experience more than made up for it. I would highly recommend Molyneaux.

Excellent experience. Sam was our sales and he was very helpful and responsive. The installation went well and uneventful. There were a couple of minor issues with some trim that was taken care of quickly. We are very happy with the quality of work.

Well, after thoroughly doing my homework looking for carpet, my last stop was Molyneaux. I went into the showroom on McKnight road fully educated, and met w/ a salesman Sam. His approach was kind of like a car salesman, but I knew what a wanted, and actually enjoyed our banter. We scheduled an appointment, and he was going to bring several of the samples I picked out. The day of our appointment, Sam called to say that he couldn't keep out appointment because he had to stay in the showroom because another employee had a family emergency and had to leave. However, he was whispering. Hmmmm. So, I telephoned the showroom about 1/2 an hour later to find that Sam wasn't there, which is what I expected. He left early. In fact there were 2 other gentlemen there. Now he really was like a car salesman, spinning lies. I spoke w/ the manager, and they apologized, were embarrassed, and in all fairness, were quite professional. They sent another salesman to measure and brings samples. However, he didn't know what samples I wanted, but we worked it out. I did not purchase my carpet from them, however, because when I finally did get the quotes, at "50 percent off" they were almost 1/3 more than Rusmor, which isn't the lowest price in town either, so, of course I didn't purchase them from them. So, all in all, I would be very wary w/ their service and prices.

The job took 3 days from start to finish. The laminate was laid 1st. It took 2 days. They came in the first day and removed the old carpet and old laminate flooring in the kitchen. Cleaned up every thing really well & got to work on installing. Worked about 8 1/2 hours the 1st day. On the 2nd day finished laying the rest of the floor and did all the finish work and cleaned up really well. This day they worked until they finished the job, probably were here about 10 hours. The following day the carpet crew came removed the old and installed the new in about 8 hours. They moved all the furniture all we needed to do was pack away the breakables.
