Molyneaux Tile Carpet Wood

Our Molyneaux Design Consultant, Steve Porter (cell 412-860-1928), visited our home in early July using all Covid-19 safety protocols. He brought several “books” of carpet samples for us to review and we did so in the actual room where the carpet was to be installed. Steve was knowledgeable, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. We selected a carpet, it was ordered by Molyneaux, and it was installed along with new padding in August. Molyneaux’s installers were professional and efficient both in moving furniture and installing the padding and carpeting. They removed the old padding and carpeting completely and cleaned up any leftover debris. The entire experience with Molyneaux and Steve Porter was exceptional.

Molyneaux was great from end to end. The Design Consultant, Renee, was more than accomodating and professional in these unprecedented times and the installers were quick and produced high-quality work. I would definitely recommend Molyneaux for any flooring.

The consultant Amy Walsh brought a lot of samples to choose from. She was very helpful. The installers were quick. They moved all of the furniture out and back in. They cleaned up after everything was installed. I really appreciated everyone in the process.

I placed an order for two bound carpets in February with Megan Baird at Molyeaux in Oakmont. I was scheduled for delivery the week of March 16, but the pandemic and quarantine hit and with everything closed, I had to wait. Once things started opening up again, I contacted Megan and she provided the excellent customer support that I've relied on with Molyneaux. She worked with my schedule, kept in touch, and truly went above and beyond. I go back to Molyneaux not because it's convenient, but because their sales associates truly DO care about providing their customers with the best service possible. I love my bound carpets, and I appreciate their efforts to make everything go as smoothly as possible, even during a pandemic.

our sales rep Megan was fantastic in helping us choose the best carpet for our décor and needs. She brought several samples to our home which made the selection easy. The installation was amazing. Not only did they do a beautiful job, they finished in one day the job that was estimated to be a 2 day job. Other than the installation, they also moved the furniture around more than once until we got the alignment we liked . They were courteous and cleaned up after the job was finished. Going with Molyneaux was the right choice and we would highly recommend them for anyone in the market for flooring. Great job,everyone and thanks!!

Smoothly. Megan Baird was AMAZING! She very gracefully helped my 95 year-old very persnickety/picky/particular mom make some difficult design decisions, saving us from a trying trip to the showroom.

Malik Vincent, at Oakmont Molyneaux, was a good listener regarding our mix of flooring needs and visited our home to see the rather difficult obstacles that had to be worked around. He suggested a high quality sheet vinyl product that we are very happy with. Their installers removed the old tiles and did a beautiful job installing the new flooring along with new baseboards. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Molyneaux performed great overall. Carpeting and flooring are great quality and workpeople are knowledgeable and friendly. Initial consultation was great. Scheduling is a problem. I had two kinds of flooring installed and one crew did not talk to the other crew. Workpeople would show up without knowledge of the unique situation of my job. Which meant there was a delay in completing my job. I had to incur an unexpected additional cost to get my job done right. If I was recommending Molyneaux to a friend I would suggest they allow extra time to get their job completed and call the office before and during installation to make sure everything will be competed in a timely manner. Even though I had these problems I would use them again for my next project.

This is my 2nd purchase through Molyneaux. Megan Baird was my design consultant, fantastic service once again! Megan was timely and unequivocally professional! She was instrumental in helping me save close to $400 this time around for my project. Can't beat that anywhere! I looove my new blue carpet. I wanted new carpeting and went into the oakmont store to look around. I had been to the big box stores several times to look around and never had a single person come up to me to help. That's NOT the case at molyneaux. My salesman, Malik Vincent, was awesome. He was so knowledgeable and personable I felt completely at ease with my decision to recarpet my entire house. He was available all the time anytime for any question or clarification I needed. There were no hidden charges either. My carpet is gorgeous and I love it. So happy with my decision to go to molyneaux in oakmont. I would highly recommend them as well as Malik.

We chose Molyneaux because friends of ours recommend them to us. Megan and Brittany were FANTASTIC!!! Me and my fiancee met Brittany in the design showroom and she made everything a breeze, she was really patient with us and took the time to explain the different kinds of carpet and styles, we had no idea there was so many to choose from! We honestly thought that we would go in, see one sample and pick what we wanted....we were so wrong, it took us about an hour to finally decide on a few samples. We then set up a home showing, which was painless, they really work around your schedules, we were nervous because we work late hours, but it was no problem for Brittany and Megan. They showed up exactly when they said they would and even brought extra samples they thought we would like. We ended up going with one that we saw in the showroom but I thought it would be too dark in our bedroom, they explained to us that the samples look completely different in the show room. The measurement of the room was a breeze and took no time at all. Megan and Brittany were so nice, talking with them made it seem like I was talking with old friends! We will definitely use Molyneux with our future projects, and with being first time homeowners we will most likely have many future projects! Thanks again Megan and Brittany for making everything so easy we really appreciate it!!

We made an appointment for a home visit. Amy Walsh contacted me prior to the visit to ask what kind of samples she should bring with her. She was on time for the appointment and brought a large variety of flooring samples. We made our purchase and they installed our flooring 2 weeks later. Everyone we dealt with was kind and professional. We love our flooring! We will definitely use Molyneaux for our future needs.

Megan Baird is an excellent design consultant who knows the product line. Installation was performed in a timely and professional manner. I saw the commercials, and would definitely recommend Molyneaux.

My design consultant Megan with the Oakmont office was great! Molyneux installers completed the job in two days. Looks very nice. We did have a problem with one board lifting and they came out to correct the problem within 1 week. I would use Molyneux again for my next flooring project. Professional installation, my new flooring looks great.

We had anticipated taking up the old carpeting and the underlying tile, to replace it all with a new tile surface. Tim Clark came out to measure and share samples when he noted that the underlying tile was asbestos that, if we were to remove it, would require a professional abatement process. Instead, we chose to leave it and replace the carpeting. All went very well and we are pleased with the outcome.

I was totally pleased with the service and product at Molyneaux Carpet in Oakmont. I needed new carpet for a rental unit and Molyneaux made it quite easy and satisfying. I had a quick visit to the store and the salesman there helped me pick out a carpet and took the measurements that I had made and told me that Megan would call me that afternoon or the next day with an estimate. Megan called the next day as promised, gave me an estimate that was perfectly in line with my expectations and then worked with me to set a date for installation that was very soon and before my next tenants moved in – thus minimizing the disruption to anyone and making it easier for the installer. I very much appreciated her (and the company’s) ability to meet my timing requirements. Megan called a day or two later to meet me at the property so she could do precise measurements – she was on time and very professional, taking measurements, and writing up a contract on site so that we could get the work done the next week. She also brought a set of samples, even though I had already selected the carpet color, and helped me realize that I had chosen the totally wrong color for the room. She helped me choose a much better color for the room, and it even came out a few dollars cheaper than the original selection. The scheduler called 2 days later as promised to set up a time, and the Installer came as scheduled. Dave, the carpet installer was friendly and professional. He was working alone so it took longer than originally expected, but since no one was in the apartment (between tenants) it did not really matter. Dave did a great job, finished in the same day, the carpet looks terrific, he left the apartment clean and he hauled away all the old carpet and debris. My new tenants will be very happy. I was very satisfied and will gladly call Molyneaux first the next time I need carpet.

Just ordered 2 area rugs from Molyneaux, Oakmont with Mark Commander. He listened to what I was looking for, didn’t try to up sell me, was up front with pricing and my carpets will arrive in a reasonable timeframe. I also liked that Megan picked up when Mark needed to leave for a prior customer appointment. She could’ve had Mark handle it, but as a professional, she did what she could to help a customer—not just Mark’s customer. Thanks to not of them. Excited for the new carpets to arrive! Jill T.

I was tired of carpet and wanted wood floors. Steve Porter at Molyneaux in Pittsburgh was wonderful. Had the wood delivered in 1 week and the floor installed two days later. My wood floors are beautiful. They did an excellent job, friendly and I am very happy. Will use them again in the future.
