They removed old carpet from our living room, dining room and hallway and installed new carpet and padding. The selection in the store was great and the salesman was very knowledgeable about his products. The installers were great guys. They arrived on time and got to work quickly. They were careful when moving our furniture, which including taking a door off the hinges and informing us that it will need to be cut down a bit to fit over the new plush carpeting. We loved the fact that if there is a problem we can just go to the store one mile away and plead our case rather than calling a 800 number and waiting in a hold queue for who knows how long. The cost is more than the other quotes we received but Molyneaux's carpet and padding are superior to the competition. Coupled with the fact that it is a local company and I'm helping local families I am more than happy to pay for a great product and service. We will continue to use Molyneaux in the future.

We are aware of their excellent and solid reputation. They have a terrifc showroom with great selection. Their sales person was terrific and very professional. We would have gone with them had it not be for their pricing. In comparing the estimates with other companies, we found them to be outrageously expensive for all of their services. With that said, I would consider them in the future for carpeting or some type of flooring that isn't as labor-intensive as tile.

Sales rep. Mike Jackson helped to me with the selection of the wood, did the measuring at my home. He was very helpful, very professional. It took me a while to make up my mind and one day I saw the Angie's List coupon for $100 off a Molyneaux purchase. They honored the coupon even though I already had been given a written contract. The installation went smoothly, with their contractors, Scott Co., doing a beautiful job. Friendly, competent, and they had to move some heavy furniture pieces, cleaned-up after the work. Two weeks, later I love the floors and can see no problems.

I chose Molyneaux over thier competitors, because of thier price and carpet quality. I used thier shop at home service. Salesman Dan Isaacson brought samples to our home. Dan is polite, friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable and helped us to understand the process. The installers did an excellant job and they cleaned up everything. Nice job! Thanks Molyneaux. I will call you the next time I need new flooring.

INSTALLER CAME A WEEK BEFORE INSTALL DATE FOR A PRE INSPECTION , INSTALLER HAPPEN TO BE A OLD HOMETOWN FRIEND, EXPLAINED HOW THE JOB WAS GOING TO UNFOLD. CALLED THE FIRST DAY BEFORE ARRIVAL AND BEGAN WORK. PROMISED THAT THE WORK WOULD BE DONE IN 2 OR 3 DAYS AND IT WAS FINISHED IN 3. DURING THE TIME THE WORK CAME HOME FROM WORK AND THE WORK AREA WAS KEPT NEAT AND SOME WHAT CLEAN. OVER ALL A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB AND THE END RESULT WAS FANTASTIC. THE CERAMIC TILE WAS BEAUTIFUL.

First the Molynaeux location was actually 1665 Washington Road. I don't know why but Angie's list would not accept the actual location for them and am REALLY hoping this error can be fixed as i do not want what seems to be a rather highy regarded Molyneaux location to suffer from this rather bad review. As part of a kitchen remodel we stopped here to look at samples of flooring. They seemed busy when we went in. We approached a man sitting at a desk and asked if he could help us and he said he could. He spent perhaps 15-20 minutes with us but appeared preoccupied the entire time. We liked the Quick Step Quadro Black Opal as it truly was a textured product. They only had a 4"x4" sample to look which did nothing to envision the look of the product. He gave a quote of $1800-$2000 for the job. The whole experience seemed a waste of our time as the salesman was preoccupied for some reason - the job wasn't big enough, he had other work on his mind?? Anyway, we found him to be somewhat of a schmoozer. This combined with the lack of sample size and the preoccupied manner througout led to us seeking another company for the install.

I worked with Mike in sales out of the Cranberry location. He was very knowledgeable about what my options were for my situation, as well as ordering and installation time frames. We were able to set up a day to measure before closing, which was very helpful, and enabled the carpet to be ready and waiting for the install, as soon as I had finished painting. The team at Molyneaux was able to adjust my tear-out and installation dates slightly to accommodate the need to treat the sub-flooring (done by myself) before the new carpet went in, in order to eliminate prior pet odor. All of the guys that came to work at the house over a three day period were friendly, professional, quick, and polite. They cleaned up after themselves, worked hard until the job was finished, and consulted me on any options or questions. Each morning they called to let me know exactly what time they would be arriving, which was very helpful, considering that I did not yet reside at the house. My house looks incredible with the new flooring and I am very pleased. Same color carpet throughout - high quality Stain Master padding - "Hollywood" carpet clipping on the stairs - smooth transitions from carpet to preexisting hardwood or tile - nice even tile work that is level with the kitchen flooring. I will be hiring Molyneaux again in the future when I finally decide how I want to refinish the basement. The job was a bit pricey, but I did go with a higher quality carpet and tile and I was impressed with the warranties.

This service was for the installation of carpet in our living room. We used the Molyneaux location 2 years ago for a vinyl floor installation in our kitchen. Each time we had a different salesman but both were great. Installers are all company employees which was important to me and they were very professional. Installs were quick and painless. We asked the company to return for the Kitchen install because the baseboards were not mitred correctly and they responded quickly and reinstalled two sections without any problems. The recent carpeting installer gave us tips on how to run the maintain the carpet and suggestions on what type of threshold to use between the carpet and hardwood floor in our dining room. The arrived on time and both times they cleaned up. In both the carpet and flooring they have alot of great selectionsand the sales reps will spend as much time as needed to make sure you get want you want.

Lisa from Molyneaux was a delight to deal with. She came to our home and helped me pick a good carpet in our price range. She did expert measuring--you can tell she does this a lot and knows just what she's doing. She also worked with me so that we could afford the wooden flooring we wanted. She works out of the North Fayette store, I believe. The delivery people and installation people were really professional and did a great job. We would not hesitate to use Molyneaux again, or recommend them to others. I would tell them to ask for Lisa, though. She's that nice to deal with.

I went to Molyneaux after looking at numerous other places for tile for our bathroom remodel. Dan I. immediately came to help me. I showed him my counter top sample. He went right to the samples and pulled out 3, one of which we ended up getting. He them proceeded to pull out a matching grout color out of a large selection, and that was perfect too. We had a great experience at Molyneaux. Dan's customer service and knowledge of materials and colors was top notch. He treated us like we were big spending customers and we only needed enough tile for a 5x8 bathroom. We would highly recommend Molyneaux and Dan I. We will be going there for our kitchen remodel.

Member Comments: From the very start of the process our salesperson Sam Mussomeli was very patient and helpful as my wife and I discussed what we wanted to do. The floor in the main bath was fairly straight forward, except for picking the tile size and color. We had many choices to pick from. The master bath was a challenge because we were enlarging the existing shower. At each step in the process Sam or one of his fellow workers would give us good ideas and told us when we were making mistakes. I especially appreciated how easy it was to get in touch with Sam. After the plans were finialized a technician came and inspected the job to be sure that the measurements were correct and we hadn't missed something. I had done the framing in the new shower and he checked that also. The installation of the tile in the main bath was first. Our installer Gene was very professional and covered our carpet and cleaned up each day. The removal and reinstallation of our toilet was done by a plumber that Molyneaux hired. He also did an excellant job. The masterbath floor was layed on a diagonal and the work was excellant. The installer Gene said that the floor wasn't as flat as he wanted it, and he got permission from Molyneaux to float a sub floor before installing the tile. When the plumber came to reinstall the toilet, he was amazed at how flat the floor was. The plumber installed a new base in the shower and checked the connections downstream. I was very pleased with that. Gene also installed the tile in the shower. The original plan was to install the tile in a brick pattern. Gene suggested that we may not like the brick pattern. He placed some tiles to show us what it would look like. My wife and I agreed that we didn't like the original plan. Then he showed us his suggestion to lay the tile and made sure we were happy. He made suggestions as the job progressed and helped make the job a success. The job was finished over a year ago and we are still very pleased. We would use Molyneaux again and would recommend them to anyone.
