TODD'S ASPHALT SEALING INC

Buying the coupon and having Todd's asphalt seal my driveway was a good experience. A very easy transaction for a working person that is not home during the day. After purchasing the coupon I received an email confirming the purchase and saying they would contact me to schedule within a few weeks. I was beginning to be concerned because I had not heard from them. I had purchased on line, received that confirmation on line and was expecting to be contacted on line or on the cell number I had given with the order. As luck would have it - I happen to be upstairs and checked my home answering machine (which I rarely do) and found they were coming the next morning! I am guessing Angies List must have my home number on file because I do not give that out when expecting call backs. In any event I had time to clear cars and tidy up the trim around the area. I did not even give my address when purchasing. When I got home from work the following day, the driveways looked good - caution tape as expected and no mess or overspray anywhere. I was surprised not to find any paperwork on the porch or inside the door - there was someone home at the time and they did not leave any paper A couple weeks later the invoice with balance due appeared in my mailbox. I would have liked to have known the grand total before that time - but the price was right what I was expecting. This was the first home project I had completed (successfully) without any personal interaction at all. It actually worked out well. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

It went well. I was happy with the service. The provider was also very patient about rescheduling when a couple of unexpected events required changing the service date. And there were no surprises in the cost. In fact the total came in slightly below what I estimated based on the price/square foot quoted by the provider. I definitely would use the company again in the future.

The service went really well. They were very responsive and came out within a week of purchasing the deal. I was not home while they did the job, but I was very pleased with the outcome. I had no problems contacting the company or scheduling their service.

That turned out good. They were quite good. There was a little issue and I called them about that and they called me the next day. They mentioned that when I cut the grass the access asphalt and oil would go away, which is what they brushed off onto my grass. They did this asphalt seal coating on my garage and driveway. I did have to pay extra, because my driveway was a little bit bigger than what the Big Deal stated; it was an extra $15.00, it was a surprise to me, but I did pay them for that.

He arrived 10:15 am and was done at 10:45 am. I say he came, he saw, he did the job. Very professional and nice. He was in and out in no time at all.

It went fine. They called promptly to set a date?showed up and did a very good job. Very easy transaction.

I got the coupon from Angie's List and got a call from Todd Asphalt that it expired and they cant honor that. 1) why did Angie's list put on expired coupon since it could happen to anyone? 2) Angie's List personnel told me that they never got the cancellation notice from TODD Asphalt? I am not sure who to believe but Either way, I paid for it and its a bad experience.

I got the Angie's List deal for my cousin who is my neighbor and she ended up not using them because their price for her driveway ended up being more expensive than the other companies. I have used them in the past and they were very fine & good. They gave a good price. They are my neighbor and live down the street. I like that their quality and the price.

They arrived on time after quick scheduling; we were told there could be an extra charge over the $99 coupon from Angie's List if the driveway was a longer one. The drive was cleaned first, and the work was done by hand with rollers in about two hours. The work was neat and complete and the driveway looks great. They left a small sign advertising Todd's Sealant on the top of the drive. We had had a guy stop by earlier who said his company could seal the drive for $450. We were satisfied with Todd's and did not think the total of $278 was excessive.

I was thrilled to see a Big Deal for asphalt resealing of my driveway. I sent an email on a Friday evening to Todd asking for a call next week to schedule the work . Todd called me about 20 mins. after I sent the email to let me know that he wasn't at home to look up the paperwork but that he'd be in touch as soon as he could . Imagine my surprise and delight when he contacted me later that evening to see if he could do the work the next morning- a Saturday ! I was going to be out of town, but Todd said I didn't have to be there . The next evening when I returned home , a beautiful driveway was waiting . I could not be more happy with the excellent personal service from Todd himself or the finished product . I highly recommend Todd's Asphalt . Thanks, Todd !

Todd's provided a bid as requested. We traded phone calls on the scheduling. They provided a date when the work would be completed at the latest. They called and asked if it would be OK to fill the cracks on July 4 and seal the driveway the next day. That happened to work well for your schedule. Todd's completed the work over July 4th weekend which was more than a week before the final agreed upon date. The driveway looks quite nice and there was no mess or residue on the garage doors or fence.

Went really well. It was a challenge due to the weather conditions, but they got the job done as soon as the weather cooperated.

THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM. Weeks after buying an AngiesList coupon for the services of these people, they finally called us. When I asked why it took so long to respond, they said that they scheduled the AngiesList people way down the schedule. It took another couple of weeks for them to start the project. During their first and only visit, they spilled tar all over the sidewalk, and left shortly after trying to clean up the mess. They said that they would return the next day to finish the job but two weeks passed, and no show. We finally had to call to get them to finish the job. They completed filling the cracks and said that they would return in a few days to apply the sealer. Another few weeks passed, and we, again, had to call them. Each time we called, we had to leave a message because they don't answer the phone. Rather than scheduling a day and time to complete the job, they left a message on our answering machine telling us that they were not going to finish the job because they didn't think we were happy with the results. They left our driveway looking much worse than before they started the job.

Excellant work, especially at the edges which were done manually without spilling over onto existing concrete. A uniform coating was applied and was thick enough to seal all minor cracks in the existing asphalt. Driveway was useable within 24 hours but it took 2 weeks to fully cure where the odor was no longer apparent, indicating to me that the applied product was of high quality. Will be interesting to see how long it holds up. Estimated square feet was resonable and accurate and I would recommend Todd's to all who need this service.

This was by far the best experience I have had with a asphalt sealing company. Todd was very responsive to my emails and the work was done when I asked it to be. He did a great job sealing the cracks (which other companies said was not necessary) and our driveway looks great. I tried him because of the $99.00 deal on Angie's list and he had several good reviews. I am happy to report that I will no longer call anyone to do work on my driveway but Todd. It looks so good that several neighbors have said they were going to call his as well. Overall A+ experience!

Upgraded sealing of full driveway from a big deal purchase. Service was easy to schedule and they were prompt and professional. Driveway looks great.

Even with plenty of rain, intense heat, and many vehicles driving on my driveway recently... that had come from a filthy access road, no less, my driveway is tight as a drum and looks like someone painted it black in a picture! The workers were efficient, cleaned up afterward, and even the asphalt smell didn't linger long afterward. A week later, we traveled an hour to a party and across the street, there was a Todd's Asphalt sign on a roped-off drive!

They emailed me after I bought the big deal. I gave them dates I wanted which they were not able to accommodate. They called back a month later and said they would come the next day but they canceled due to a weather report. They rescheduled the next week and came and did the work. I wasn't home but it looked good when I got home. My daughter's bus driver asked who did my driveway cos it looked like they did a good job. It is the second time I have used this company. I would hire them again because they made it easy to get my driveway sealed.

We scheduled the work to be done, while we were on vacation.When we can home the workwas all done, & we mailed him a check!

Everything went well, and I was happy with the service. The gentleman was on time, communication and scheduling were easy, and he did a good job. Ultimately, he had to charge an additional ninety dollars since my driveway had more square footage than what was covered by the deal, but that wasn't a major issue.

I had purchased a Big Deal for Asphalt driveway sealing. They Sealed the driveway in a timely manor once the rain stopped. I will use this company for any of my future needs

Todd's lives up to all the great reviews. If you live in the Pittsburgh area you know that we've had a rainy spring. You also know that the weather forecasters get paid no matter how many days they are wrong! Todds worked closely to navigate the rainy days and the days when it was supposed to rain and didn't. When they came out to do the work, they did it as if it was their own driveway. They took care to make sure the edges were perfectly straight and neatly done. They didn't just spray the sealer on like others I've used. They applied it with a huge squeegee and worked it into the surface. Most importantly to me, they include a sand additive that provides extra grip. The last sealer I used was slick in the winter! I can't say enough about this company. My driveway is 1,125 s.f. I think they are under priced. $163 for three men -- for over an hour -- including materials and tax! Update- 7/8/14: After a month the driveway looks great. No issues at all. And it's the best looking sealing job I've had done in 17 years!

Someone came out to fill in the cracks a few weeks prior to the repaving. They did a thorough job and were quite friendly. When the time came to repave the drive the weather was not cooperating and everyday I got a call to reschedule due to the rain. Great communication. They did a great job, it looks fantastic. I highly recommend.
