Response from TODD'S ASPHALT SEALING INC
The member purchased a coupon for sealing. We actually tried to service their driveway twice. The initial application was scheduled. Upon arrival, we were informed, the home owner had a unexpected viewing to sell their home and we were not permitted to seal the driveway. Even though we did travel thirty minutes to seal their driveway, we told them we would try and schedule at a later date. The second time we stopped, we were servicing another customer in the area. We did not have an appointment, but took a chance that the driveway could be serviced. The member did have an event and we were not able to seal their driveway at that time. Because of the distance to service them, we encouraged the member to obtain a refund for the coupon and to contact a local contractor that could work better with their schedule.

The member purchased a angie list coupon. The member driveway was a new installation. Like many new plan driveways the asphalt application was not installed properly. The sides of the members driveway is already crumbling in many areas. The member has an issue with the asphalt paving company that installed the driveway, not with our company that is waterproofing the substandard job left behind.

Description of Work: They came out and sealed my driveway, I did get a little discount for going through Angie's List, but after we actually measured the driveway.....I was way off on my calculations for the discount, and had to pay for another 700 sq ft.....I was very pleased with the professional service, and they were very neat, and clean with the prep. Would get them again to do this job....and I am hoping it will hold up on my driveway for years to come. (member name removed)

Description of Work: They put a sealer coating on my driveway. Todd was punctual, professional and me and my wife felt this was the best work on driveway in 32 years. He did an excellent job filing in the cracks in the asphalt and the material he used was excellent. Also, when asked by resealing he said it wasn't necessary for 2-3 years!! |In any case, I will be calling Todd's next summer.
