This is the company you want! McLoughlin was the third HVAC contractor that I called. The first, over the course of two years with multiple people sent to look, could find no reason that I had insufficient heat and only a few gallons of hot water at a time. The second contractor found 1 serious flaw. Chris (from McLoughlin) found 6 fatal flaws (both component failures and design problems) and a handful of items that were seriously subobtimal. Each was described to me with this is what I found, it explains why you're experiencing x, this is what you can expect if you correct it, and this is what you can expect if you don't. Ideas were presented both to repair and preserve the system. Communication about and performance of the work could not have been better and as we got toward the end, Chris personally handled the fine tuning. The whole endeavor was very impressive (and the people made it zero stress). I don't know if the price was fantastic; I know it was reasonable and there were no "add-ons."

Selected McLoughin based on reviews I found on Angie's List. Called for an appointment the person on the phone explained their approach of securing the appointment with a credit card - the charge is a minimum charge which is on top of the cost of the work to be performed. Mike from McLoughin showed up at my house at 8:20 and knocked on the door at 8:30 - which was the appointment time. He put slip-on booties over his shoes so he didn't track dirt into the house and then he took a look at the two jobs I called about - repair or replace two faucets. After looking at the two jobs he then wrote-up the various options - cost to repair vs cost to replace (with options for replacement). I opted for the replacement option vs repair. Mike then provided me with various options for replacing the two faucets. I selected my two replacement faucets and Mike then sourced the selected faucets - the faucets were at two different locations - he then went and got them and then replaced both faucets. The finished product looks great, Mike did a great job cleaning up. The entire job took about 5 hours - including the time spent going to get the two faucets. Before he left Mike explained the operation of the faucets and left the paperwork for both faucets. I really like the fact that he noted the date of installation on both sets of paperwork. Overall I was very pleased - I would say that McLoughin is a first rate operation - they're not inexpensive - but you get a high quality job/experience for the money spent.

They were good about letting us know when they were going to come. They were here when they said they would be here. The product itself is a good product, but I didn't like that it wound up costing $1,000 more than the estimated price. When they left, they didn't clean up all of the papers they had put down on the floor.

Although the process took more time than we anticipated, we were pleased with the end result.

They were very professional and thorough. I thought they did a good job with the quote. I would recommend them. They were professional and trustworthy and knowledgeable. It really came down to price in this situation and they were more expensive.

I have been using this service for four years now. They regularly call me every 2 weeks to ask whether I need a water delivery. The reminder call does not always fall on the same day of the week. I leave empty 5 gallon bottles outside my garage in the morning when I leave for work. They deliver requested replacements as expected and pick up the empty bottles. They have been very dependable. The water cooler has also been reliable and so has their water product.

The sales rep was really knowledgable and not pushy - had good ideas about how to approach our older house. The guys doing the installation were really nice and very good at what they do - they had some tricky aspects to the job (working in a crawl space; older house; choosing locations for registers and returns) but so far, so good! The job was a total of 6 days. They cleaned up every day, and although there were 1 or 2 sharp metal pieces we found, the vast majority of the work was well cleaned at the end of each work day (important b/c we have kids). All of the vents look nice; the units are relatively quiet; and just some minor outside finishing (mulching around the compressor units and patching of holes drilled for power supply) is left to do. We could have probably done a little better on price, but are very happy so far with the experience and quality of the work. Installed units do qualify for energy efficiency tax credit. Would recommend this company.

I was billed a fair amount. They answered all my questions, they sent me all the information that I needed, and they made three different suggestions for the units. They gave me different options of each unit. They were very good, very efficient, and they did the work very quickly. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They did a full tearout of the existing bathroom and put new pipe work, partitions, floors and walls. They were there promptly and finished the job within a week which was before schedule. They were clean and did a great job.

They came when they said. I called them to repair the unit and they said it needed to be replaced. The price seemed fair and they were in and out in a relatively short time. I was satisfied with their work.

They called the evening before to schedule a time as I had requested so I could meet them there. Gave me a 3 hour window of time to meet the contractor. Contractor arrived early, called and I met him on job site. He did wait for me to arrive, which I appreciated. Fixed the sump pump in less than an hour. Did not leave any mess or parts. Was very efficient and thorough. Explained the operation of the unit and was on his way. I would recommend highly in the future.

I AM SATISFIED WITH HOW WELL THE TOILET SITS, AND IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER SINCE I CAN PUT THE LITTLE COVERS ON THE BOLTS. I AM STILL WAITING FOR HIM TO RETURN A PHONE CALL, BUT THAT IS A SMALL THING.

I found this company via the internet as I was researching options for home delivery of reverse osmosis water. This company is so flexible! No contract needed. They call you every two weeks and ask about water delivery. They have the best price. Their phone representative was friendly and she answered all my questions. Easy to get set up on the program. They delivered as promised.

I called their emergency number for 2 1/2 hours, and no one answered. The water heater was less than 3 years old and was high end. They were able to get a replacement from the company and didn't charge us for the labor.

It was a positive experience. Janice in the office returned my call promptly and scheduled the visit within a day and was flexible with the time.

THEY DID NOT INSTALL IT PROPERLY, SO IT WAS LEAKING. IT TOOK TWO OR THREE VISITS AND THEN HE WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE LEAKS, INSTEAD BLAMING THE INSTALLER OF THE COUNTER TOP.
