Jim arrived and started replacing the pipes right away. He was very sweet and helpful and answered all my questions in a professional manner. I was very happy with him and his work. I definitely will use McLoughlin in the future.

I have always been impressed with the responsiveness and honesty of the technician from McLaughlin. The work was done quickly and he gave me honest advice when I asked what more might need to be done in the near future - nothing urgent. Also impressive was that I called on a Thursday afternoon to see if by chance I could get someone the following afternoon and even asked that it be after 3 PM. They worked it out! I'm not sure how their prices compare, but I will always count on McLaughlin, because I know they are fair and work hard to meet my needs.

They were very attendant, very knowledgeable and followed through. They were very informative and delivered on what they said they would do. The work turned out great.

Failed to rebuild lavatory faucets correctly, required placement of new faucets (which continue to leak due to faulty installation). Failed to clear bathroom soaker tub and repair valve. Replaced shower valve cartridge improperly which still does not provide hot water. Work was sloppy, unprofessional and overcharged. Plumber was incompetent. Would never hire this terrible company again.

Sales guy Chris came out promptly to quote a new system for us. Was knowledgeable about the system and needs, but never followed up with the quote. I had to call the office several times and also did not respond to multiple emails. They were recommended by a neighbor, but they did not follow-up and lost my business to Signature who did a great job. Money left on the table!

everything went well. It's been a while since I used a plumber. He replaced the insides of my toilet. Without knowing prices, I felt it was very expensive. I probably should have gotten other estimates. The work he did was fine and except for the cost, I nave no complaints .

They did a professional and clean job. Work site was cleaned. Everything went smooth.

Better than expected Serviceman came the same day as my inquiry after diagnosis of the problem he told me that a new water heater was my best option when i asked when the work could be done he said in a couple of hours!

We hired Mcloughlin to replace a water heater in our home. They did a good job with the installation and were punctual and professional. However, the price was on the high side and exceeded the estimate. We called them a couple of weeks later to check on our AC unit as it began rattling the day after the work was completed. The tech came out drew up an estimate of $1,300.00 for replacement parts and charged us a hidden fee of $225 (Service and diagnostic) which we were not made aware of before hand. After questioning the fees/voicing my displeasure they cut the charge in half. The next day we had another company come out and their tech told us that estimate was ridiculous and that all he needed to do was tighten a part. We were charged $50 and have not heard any rattling since. My experience with Mcloughlin is as follows 1. They do good work but believe me you pay for it. 2.They look to maximize the amount of $ they can charge consumers regardless of any past working relationships. 3. I would only use them again after I make my first million.

Very satisfied with the work done. I was looking for one company who could handle plumbing, heating and AC. McLoughlin was of the very few companies servicing my area (19130) who was able to provide a Certificate of Insurance required by my HOA. They were also one of the few companies that actually answered my Angie's List message to them promptly. They called me the day before our scheduled appointment to verify that they were coming the next day. Mark, the service tech, came on time and was very professional and patient. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain things to me. He told me the price for all the things I wanted done before he did the work so there were no surprise charges. I was very comfortable having him work on the services I needed and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I've never had to pay for a plumber before so I don't know if the price was good or not but the price I paid for the installation of the faucet I provided was worth it to me. Mark also serviced my rooftop AC unit and the heating unit in my condo. Because of the quality on the services performed and my comfort level with Mark, I signed up for their preventive maintenance membership. I now have some peace of mind in knowing that I have found a company who will check to make sure my AC, heating, plumbing, and water heater are properly maintained.

I am very satisfied. They were punctual, helpful, kept my home clean, friendly. System works great.

Jim Rafferty, our sales representative, was knowledgeable and responsive. Our installers took one and a half days to complete. Overall, I was satisfied with the timeliness, price, and quality of the work that was performed. My only complaint is that my air conditioning unit stopped working properly five days after the installation. We called Jim and someone came out the same day to evaluate the problem. They attributed the problem to a leak in the system. As a temporary solution, they re-charged our system and scheduled a time for a technician to find the leak and repair it. A few days later, a technician came back to our house, found a leaking valve, and replaced it. All of this was covered by our one year labor warranty. Thankfully, my parents are retired, so they were able to be at my house when the technician needed access to our home. However, I can see how this would have been a hardship for someone who needed to take off from work each time the technician came to our house for two follow up repair visits. Aside from the leak, I was satisfied with the quality of the work done and the responsiveness of the company in resolving my problem.

The serviceman was very professional. He arrived on time. He cleaned up after the work was done. Very happy with work done. Thought price was a bit high.

Everything went well. On this latest trip, the plumber experienced some trouble shutting off the water at the street, but was quite persistent in uncovering the brass valve and getting water turned off. The rest of the process went quickly from there. On their first visit in June, I was impressed by a number of things. First, they were able to send someone out the same day to help me with a problem that resulted from disconnecting an old dishwasher and a resulting leaky shut off valve and the discovery of a broken kitchen sink pipe. Life without your kitchen sink is difficult, so I was quite thankful for the same day service. Second, the plumber did a visual inspection of the basement and noted a number of issues, including the very old main water valves. He fixed what was needed for the immediate problem and provided prices on the other issues found. There was no pressure to fix the other issues and no follow-up calls from the company to push the other work. I followed up on my own for peace of mind. McLoughlin calls the next day after each visit to be sure you are satisfied. I rated B for price, because all plumbing fixes seem to be more than one would like/expect. I'm told McLoughlin is extremely reasonable compared to others in the area.

I called about 1 PM and plumber arrived by 4:30 and was finished in about an hour. I was quite pleased with same day service. Plumber noted some other issues, but did not give a hard sell. Will definitely be contacting them to do some of what was suggested.

The call answering service (Fretta) was ignorant and seemed to be incompetent. After indicating my issue was time sensitive and elaborating upong my situation on various instances, she responded multiple times by asking me what is my emergency. She placed me on hold in mid-conversation, and I hung up.

The plumber arrived as scheduled and completed the repair with no problems. They wore foot socks to keep the house clean and explained what they were doing. We were very satisfied with their service.

It went great and I would recommend them to anyone.

He did it professionally, but didn't find the right solution. He only pursued one possble cause of the leak. A different contractor came by the house and tried isolating the problem by considering many different causes, testing them, and then found the correct cause. I have hired McLaughlin before and was pleased with their work, however have always found their prices to be quite high. I would suggest asking for a minimum price for them to come out and visit the location first.

McLoughlins was professional. Arrived earlier after calling to confirm that they could come earlier than anticipated. Mechanic was knowledgeable and polite and mad sure not to dirty up the work area to much. He gave me all my options for doing the work and what he could do. Work was performed in a timely manner and cleaned up upon completion. I use them often when I have plumbing issues.

We have been happy with their services. They have also did some pluming work for us when we had a sewer line break. They took care finding providers to do all the drywall and painting work too. They did a nice job. They have also serviced our HVAC on an annual basis.

Great. All of the techs from McLaughlin have been knowledgeable, prompt, and professional.

Our service man was very professional. On time. Very polite. They were better priced and more professional than some of the other quotes we got. They were in and out in a couple of hours just as they had said they would be.

The technician that came out was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I asked if he could email me information about the different furnaces he mentioned, and an estimate for the conversion. He said he would. He came out on a Monday, and I waited until that Thursday to call and ask again if he could send me information and an estimate. He apologized for the delay and said he would send me that info the next day. I still haven't heard back. It's almost three weeks since he came out to look at my system. I'm sure they're busy with everyone clamoring to get their heat working since the temperature dropped, but I'd like some kind of response.
