Description of Work: Replaced thermalstatic expulsion valve in central air conditioner, and removed and replaced all contaminated R-22 coolant. The problem had not been correctly diagnosed on two previous occasions by another service provider, whose repair work resulted in only temporary fixes. Chris McClelland of McLoughlin Plumbing correctly diagnosed the problem. His solution (above) appears to have worked.

Description of Work: Cost 231.00 just to tell me what was wrong. Would have to come back again in a week to repair AC for another 330.00 dollars. Found part myself for 60.00 dollars and made repair myself.

Description of Work: My heater went down on this the coldest day of the year. It was in the morning at around 10:00AM when I called. The call center (Susan) was very professional and concerned with my situation. A technician arrived in about an hour and a half. For that alone I was amazed. Gene diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He did not leave until he was sure the unit was working effectively. Plus he was a real nice guy.
