Crew showed up timely. they were very neat in the house. Some pieces of insulation remained on my driveway and walk. I had to call on the appointment morning to verify they were coming. I would have preferred a call the day before.

They came on time, were courteous, and professional, They cleaned up nicely. Overall, they did a great job. It took a full day. They had to come back to so a little additional work that both I and they missed on their first visit; they returned in just a few days to do that. Because I had been given totally confusing, and inconsistent advice from other insulation installers, I got bids from more than I normally would. Gunner's price was substantially less than anyone else's, for the exact same service, compared to other bidders, including some Angie's List rated A installers, but with B ratings for price. Two of the companies never even got back to me with any bids. I don't know why. I liked that the owner came with the crew and worked side by side with his workers.

It was a very smooth process overall. They were very good about coming out, talking to me, answering my questions, and providing detailed options for the estimate. We wanted all of the work done in one day, and they were able to accommodate us. Kenneth and his crew were very professional and did a good job.

THE PROFESSIONALS PROFESSIONALS. The crew was highly courteous and polite and strived to ensure that the living space was not to be contaminated by the blow. Tim and the crew were on top of the communication game and made sure that nothing was left to the imagination. The final product was PERFECT at a price that could not be beat. Ken came out to do the estimate and it was clear he really knows what he is talking about in regards to insulation. He spent a great deal of time going through all the attic and crawl spaces - he even climbed into a very small crawl space because he needed to see what was going on in there! He was thorough and took time to answer all my questions - and provided quite an education as to what he recommended and why. He also helped me to understand what the most important areas to tackle first were. Ken was upfront and honest about areas that he could improve, but it was not urgent to do so immediately. I didn't go forward with the company simply because my house needs an extensive amount of insulation work (and other work) and I don't have it in the budget right now.

Gunner was super from day 1..... I was walking my dogs and saw their truck at my neighbor's house, so I called for estimate. Ken called me next day and he came out to my house immediately to do estimate. He was VERY thorough and gave me a crash course in insulation and Cape Cod homes. I could tell he knew his stuff. I'm 100% a great judge of character and this guy rocks. He doesn't subcontract work. His guys have been with him for 6+ years and you can tell. They are one big family! They came Monday 2/10 to start the ceiling demo in my bedroom and sprayed foam under the crawlspace and in the ceiling. They did this the correct way by removing the ceiling/drywall. Ken explained in detail that, without removing the ceiling, moisture will get in and cause mold over time and I wouldn't see it; but I would get sick from it. I never knew this. While this was being done, the rest of his team were in my basement spraying around the foundation to seal off outside air. They sprayed behind the drop ceiling and around the perimeter of the below ground basement. While that was going on, another team was upstairs insulation the entire upstairs (which has never had insulation since it was built in 1954 ....and I could tell from the air temperature living here since 1993) The job was finished and they cleaned up their mess. They vacummed and took all trash with them. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed other areas insulated. I wouln't hesitate to refer them to my own customers, friends or family. Ken is a super guy who takes real pride in his business and his name is everything to him..he won't put his name on anything unless it's done right. As a business owner myself, I was impressed because I feel the same way.

In a word, Excellent! From the first phone call to the completion of work, the entire team at Gunner exceeded all expectations. Bob, who came out to give me an estimate was, on time, very knowledgeable and honest. I had done a fair amount of research and knew what to expect. I appreciated that he stuck to the work I was requesting and interested in. Several other companies attempted to sell me all sorts of other things. It was clear from the gate that this company was concerned about customer service and integrity. When the owner, Ken, and his team showed up (once again, on time) to complete the job, they immediately went to work setting up for a clean job. They worked efficiently and quickly. When they were done, they cleaned thoroughly after themselves. I had the opportunity to talk to the guys individually. Everyone was knowledgeable, down to earth and respectful. I was completely comfortable having these guys in my house and was confident they would do the job well. After speaking with Ken for awhile, I'm comfortable in saying that he cares very much about the work he and his team performs. He's honest and forthcoming. Most of all, i was impressed with his integrity. He and his team are fully conscious and concerned about providing a great service and maintaining an excellent company / personal reputation. As a customer, I fully appreciate that! The entire team was proud to have earned an Angie's List 2013 award. I would recommend Gunner without any hesitation. In fact, I would do it with excitement and confidence that they will do an excellent job!

We found Ken from Gunner Insulation through the Energyworks program. He spent over 2 hours with us doing a very thorough inspection of the house to determine what type of air sealing work would be needed in our home, which was built in 1923 so was fair from airtight and properly insulated. He explained all of the areas that we had air leakage as documented in our energy audit and gave us several options to correct the problems based upon future projects and budget. The employees that came out to complete the work were great, they were very concerned with keeping the house undisturbed and clean after they completed each area, and were willing to answer several questions which I had. We can already feel a huge difference is how constant the temps in the house have been since the install, and will be using them again for some future projects that Ken recommended.

Have not heard back from anyone either by email or phone.

Very knowledgable, friendly, down to earth. Very realistic about what insulation could or could not do. Nice guy.

This is the second time that I have used this company; quality work

Crew came out on time and did the whole house retrofit in a long 10 hr day. Workers were courteous and left my home impeccable. Have already saw huge differences in both comfort and air quality. Electric bills seem to be reduced as well. I talked to 3 different contractors and Gunner's bid was second lowest butt i did not feel comfortable with other contractors knowledge level.

We had the energy audit performed on our house as part of the Energy Works program. After living in there for a few months, I was not surprised how poorly insulated our house was. He came in and placed Blown in insulation in the attic and above the garage, closed cell foam insulation on the crawl space walls and bib and wrap the dividing wall between the two levels. As hot as this summer has been compared to last year when we moved in, I noticed a significant improvement in the comfort of the house. Not to mention how much less our air conditioner runs!! According to the exit evaluation Energy Works performed, there was a 52% reduction of air infiltration after Kenny performed the work.

I had previously had an energy audit. Basement insulation was recommended. I had several bids. Gunner's price was very reasonable. He impressed me with his knowledge and experience. He sprayed closed cell foam along the rim joist and sealed penetrations in the basement ceiling. He then conducted a blower door test to determine the energy effectiveness. He was much more careful with his blower door test (eg, sealing around the closed fireplace chimney damper) than my original energy auditor. Significant energy efficiency was achieved. He did a great job of explaining the results of the test and then suggested that caulking 2 basement windows would be beneficial. All work was done courteously and professionally.

Excellent experience from start to finish. I needed to update my attic insulation but unsure what would work best since the existing layer was poorly installed and pulled up in places by various workers who left the attic deck exposed. Ken did a thorough inspection and recommended sealing all air penetrations followed by blown insulation. He took time to explain the whole process and answer all my questions. Ken is professional, very friendly and very conscientious. Great job - no muss, no fuss. Highly recommend!!

We found Gunner Insulation to be very professional and great to work with. Ken was professional with his estimate and spent a lot of time checking the scope of the project. He broke the quote down so that we could choose where we would spend our money to best effect. He advised us of areas where money would not be well spent. It is rare these days to find someone who will be so honest in giving the customer advice that is in the customer's interest. His team were professional, hardworking and courteous...and they seemed to know what they were doing and wanted to do it well. I researched the products they used and found them to be safe, and above the standards required for code. I have no hesitation in recommending Gunner Insulation.

Ken called in advance to confirm his arrival, on site he discussed the project and worked consistently until the job was done. His price was very reasonable and he did a quality job. I plan to have him return for another project.

Ken Peresta, owner of Gunner insulation, promptly came out to quote the insulation portion of some work that I needed in the attic. When he came, I described what I wanted and he showed me how to do a much better job for less money than the job that I described. After I hired him, he came on the date promised and completed the job as promised. I will definitely call him again when I need another insulation job.

Extremely good communication, very prompt service and very competitively priced. Work was excellent and very professionally done. Ken was a pleasure to work with - he came twice to take measurements and give an estimate (because of a long delay on our side between visits). He is a very pleasant person and very straight-forward to deal with. Inspection by the township went through with no problem. I highly recommend Gunner Insulation and Ken's services.

After many estimates we went with Gunner Insulation. Ken was hands-on and the men were all professional. The job they did for us was top notch.

No problems easy to talk to and very professional

Ken Peresta, owner of Gunner Insulation was prompt and concise in his estimate process and worked with me on the timing of the removal and install schedule. Ken and his team removed all the existing insulation from the attic while the electricians were working in the basement, thus prepping the way for swift resolution of wiring issues in the attic. Ken and his team returned to finish the remainder of the job in both the attic and the basement which now included the installation of a new material - InSoFast closed-cell insulation panels for exterior/interior walls - that would combine framing and insulation in 2' X 4' panels that I purchased separately. Ken and his team did an outstanding job doing their primary focus - installing insulation. Ken then agree to work with this new material he was unfamiliar with which was installed the same day. They did a fabulous job for not much more than the agreed to contract price. I was able to save money on the regular stick-construction of the basement walls, that were ready to be drywalled and finished. The Keystone Help independent auditor ran the follow-up test to compare before and after results of the work completed. There were no combustion issues between the HW Heater, HVAC system or gas stove. His findings, however, were not as anticipated regarding the air flow. It should be noted this was due to several factors that differed at the time of each audit: Before: The basement was a finished space which included drywall on all walls and the stairwell to the 1st floor. After: The demo of the basement following a HW Heater failure, exposed surfaces that were previously covered with drywall such as stairwell walls behind bathroom and the interior foundation under the sunken living room slab. Ken and the original auditor were advised of the need to remediate the air flow issues. Both arrived as scheduled and performed the necessary work and tertiary audit. An amended audit report was forwarded to Keystone Help. I am especially please with my choices in both the energy audit and the insulation as both Ken and Paul did outstanding work and follow-up. Both take pride in a job well-done and having happy customers. You can count me as one of them. I many not need his services again but I can surely recommend Cunner Insulation
