The crew sprayed over the furnace filter access, which we ended up having to cut out ourselves, and they also got foam IN the furnace. Not good!!

On time, did the work, price was reasonable and very helpful regarding other work I want to do around the house, even though it was not their type of expertise, they were willing to explain matters to me about such work. Real helpful.

It went well, they showed up on time,completed the job in one day, and you can really tell the difference.

It turned out ok. It was pretty chilly up there, we have an older home, now it's comfortable up there. I would use them again.

Ken was great from start to finish, no sales push, just business. A very nice guy. Ken and his team installed spray foam insulation in two of my attics and my sub-crawlspace, as well as added blown-in insulation to my third attic (ranch home). The job was done in a timely fashion and I can already tell a difference after having to go up into the main attic to access my air handler...it used to be well over 120 degrees up there during a warm day, and it finally was comfortable (80's?). Thanks Ken!

Ken reached out to me within an hour after I sent an email inquiring about getting an estimate. He was able to come out that day to look at the areas where I wanted work performed, and I received an emailed estimate within 24 hours. While at my home, Ken explained the difference between conditioned and unconditioned spaces and made recommendations about what to do and what not to do. He never pressured me in any direction and did not try to add on additional work. Ken was personable & knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I appreciated that he took the time to explain things. I had gotten another estimate from a different company as well, and I didn't feel the person that came to my home understood insulation after talking to Ken. Before the work was even performed, I mentioned to a couple of my neighbors that I was going to be having the work done. They both expressed an interest in also having spray foam insulation in crawl spaces at their homes. I recommended they call Ken as I was impressed with him at our first meeting. Both of my neighbors did call Ken, who came back out to look at their homes. They also felt that Ken was knowledgeable and fair. My neighbors both decided to move forward with the work. The day the work was performed, his crew showed up on time and were very polite. From the minute they walked into my home, they were laying plastic sheeting down to keep my home clean. After the spray foam had been blown in, they took their time cleaning up all areas, which included vacuuming the spaces where work had been performed. When they were done at my home, they were able to perform the work at both of my neighbors homes the same day. They were even able to salvage a piece of insulation board from one of my neighbors homes and used it to cover the hole into my basement crawl space (it has an external vent). Including putting a bead of insulation around the board to seal it. This wasn't something I expected them to do, and was very happy that they were able to go above & beyond. Overall, I was very happy with my experience with Gunner Insulation and I would continue to recommend them to anyone looking to have this type of work done. My neighbors were also happy (one is even going to have them come back to do additional work) and both would also recommend them.

Gunner Insulation was great from start to finish. A free estimate on site was set up quickly by the owner, Ken. Ken was professional, knew exactly what needed to be done, explained what the process would look like from start to finish, and answers all of our questions. Scheduling was very easy. Ken's team arrived on time, covered everything with plastic and did an exceptional job. Our garage previously matched the temperature outside and we saw an immediate improvement for the in-room temperature. Thank you to Ken and his team for a job well done.

Gunner and his crew arrived on the job on time. Completed the job with no interruption to our life. Covered the entire area in plastic to keep the area clean. Vacuumed the entire basement and garage area on completion of insulation installation. Gunner is the only insulation contractor that knew how to insulate the area in our garage under a bedroom. We have been to many home shows looking for an insulation contractor that could insulate our garage ceiling. He arrived on time and provided an objective audit showing me all of the data he was using for his recommendation. He recommended against most work as our house was found to be fairly energy efficient. He provided an estimate for the work he recommended within a couple of days.

Very professional and thorough right from the estimate to actual job. Our upstairs was so cold before they did the insulation. We had nice and cozy bedrooms post their work. Thanks.

It was very very smooth. The Gunner Installation team arrived on time, and were very professional. Each item of work was explained as to why it was being conducted and what we should anticipate as a result of the work. There were areas in our home that was not originally included in the estimate, but they felt that it should have be included. So they did it anyway, without charging extra. It was this that really sold me on them. They have integrity. They were not willing to do a job half way, and it not be right. They are also looking to add to their work a ventilation sealant. Aerosol I believe the name of the product/procedure. It helps seal any leaks in the ventilation from the inside of the vents to prevent leakage. As soon as this is added to their items of work, I will have them return to complete this. We have already noticed a great change in the climate of our home after they completed their work. We cannot wait to see the new bills.

Wow!!! That's all I have to say about Ken and his team!! There were very professional. Arrived on time. Explained the progress at every step of the way. The best part is that they were extremely clean. My house looked like nothing had happened even after they left. We are very happy that we hired Gunner Insulation. We are already noticing the results and couldn't be happier. Keep up the great work!!

Ken (owner) provided an estimate two days after his initial visit. He is extremely knowledgeable about requirements needed in the home and insulation solutions. The crew arrived on time as scheduled. His crew is efficient, and their cleanliness was exemplary, putting down plastic drop clothes in the work area and everywhere else that they needed to walk - up the stairs to the second floor and down the hall. The crew cleaned up after themselves upon completion, vacuuming any loose material from blowing in the insulation.

I hired Aaron Heinemeyer, Green Energy Guard, because he went up to my crawlspace above the family room and saw that there has never been any insulation there! This enabled him to do a proper estimate! He was here yesterday and emailed me the estimate today. He will do the work on the 21st! He is a credible, caring, knowledgeable professional!

I called and left a message for Ken that I wanted to arrange for a quote to get some insulation work done on my house, he called me back the next day to set up an appointment for a couple of days later. During the quote Ken walked me through the most bang-for-the-buck options to improve the efficiency of the house and was very knowledgeable about the details of insulation and how different things affect the overall house. After deciding to get the work done we scheduled an appointment for about 2 weeks after the quote. Ken and his small crew did an excellent job with the work that was quoted. Work was performed exactly as described during the quoting process, so there were no surprises. The owner (Ken) was on site the entire job working along with his crew and was available to answer any questions that I may have had before/during/after the work. They performed the work with minimal disruption to the house and were very tidy while performing the work, they also made sure to cover any surrounding areas to make sure there would be no additional mess. After finishing the job(very efficiently , I would add) they cleaned up thoroughly, leaving no trace that they were there. Before leaving Ken made sure to walk me through and show me all the work that was completed to make sure everything looked good - and it looked very good. I would not hesitate to have Gunner Insulation do more work on my house again in the future.

Called the owner for an estimate for attic insulation. He cancelled once and then rescheduled for a 9am appointment but he never showed for that either, never called, and did not return my message, wasting my time in the process.

Ken did an outstanding job. I was operating under a tight time constraint because I was selling my townhouse and the new buyers were insisting that I remove the old insulation, due to the possibility of asbestos. Luckily, I found Ken. He came out on Labor Day to give me an estimate (Yes, Labor Day!), and then he and one of his workers completed the work the following week. ... I was very relieved that the work was performed professionally and completely. In fact, they finished the job in only a few hours and they cleaned up so thoroughly that the place looked better after they left! ... I also appreciated that Ken and his staff were careful to lay down a plastic tarp over my carpet and stairwell so they would not track dirt into my house. ... I would definitely use them again.

We had a crew of three here for a full day they were very very professional got straight to work and kept going till the job was done. Could not see they were here after they left very clean job. No complaints from them despite the limited space in the attic and the hot day. Our house is now cooled much better. The initial visit to do estimate was problem free. Only advice would be to a little more explanation on the estimate for the novice. Can only highly recommend the services to anyone in need of insulation of an old house.

I am elated! This was my first experience with hiring a contractor for a house project. I admit l was nervous for a number of reasons. Ken is a true professional. He completed a thorough evaluation of the house and its insulation issues. His was very knowledgeable and explained everything in terms l could understand. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was totally impressed with his honesty. Ken told me about an energy loan l could get to finance the project. I would not have known about it if he did not tell me. By going through the energy loan program, he was not paid until the entire project was complete to my satisfaction. It shows that he cares about his clients. The project was completed without any issues. Ken and his employees were polite, professional and clean. I was amazed at how smooth the process went. I have lath and plaster walls. They had to put two inch holes every eight inches around on every exterior wall. They patched everything and cleaned up completely. I am thrilled with the result of the project. Ken and his employees went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend them!
