One Call Clean Out

One Call Cleanout removed a large list of unused furniture from the basement and from one bedroom. They also removed a recliner chair and a band saw and took the chair and band saw to a friend's home about 3 miles away and placed them in his basement and upstairs. They then also took unwanted furniture and household unwanted items from the friend's house and recycled or disposed of the items from both houses. Everything was handled on time and with care. The personnel were very helpful and willing during the entire operation.

Gave a fair rebate based on value of the pieces. Very good business model. Highly professional and efficient.

Job went very well. They were very flexible in scheduling my appointment and were on time on the day of the clean out. They asked what was to be taken out and gave me the cost after seeing what we wanted thrown out. Finished job in about 1.5 hours. We did a final walk through to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend using them and going this route if your are doing a clean out instead of using a dumpster. Hassle free and I didnt have to drag the junk out of the basement.

I originally made arrangements with one of the owners, John, who thoroughly explained what his men would do. We selected a date that was convenient for me since time was a factor. A few days before our appointment, I called to confirm the date. Mike, another owner, and two of his workers met me at the home which is located in South Philadelphia. They immediately began removing the contents in a systematic and organized matter. Once they started, they did not stop until it was completed. I would absolutely recommend this company!

I spoke with John on Monday, 1/20/2014 and described the items I had for donation, recycle and trash. He was friendly and informative. He gave me an estimate, sight unseen and we set a date and time for 1/24/2014. It snowed quite a bit that week and John called to say he may be 15-30 minutes later than our agreed upon time. Two gentlemen showed up at the arranged time and were efficient and friendly. Things could not have been smoother. My mother and I had to clean out a second-floor, one bedroom condominium for a client who passed away. We had already separated the items which could be donated to Goodwill. The remainder was placed into contractor-grade trash bags. The entire living room was filled with trash bags and numerous sofas. The bedroom had a full-sized bed and several old dressers. John quickly returned my phone call and we set a date for the clean out. That day, three gentlemen arrived on time and confirmed a price of $1.000.00. This was more than fair considering the amount of junk that had to be removed from the second floor. Two separate trips were made. Overall, an excellent, professional job. Highly recommended! .

It went well. Was a hectic day with other work being done as well. Had a mixup about the date and time. John honored what he had said and came out despite it not being on his schedule for the day. I really appreciated that. He was gracious and apologetic. Everything went smoothly once he arrived.

I've used One Call Clean Out before and since my experience was so good the first time, I called them again for this job. Items of note included a large file cabinet, full sized refrigerator and window air conditioner from the basement. This presented a challenge since I asked the men to use the bilco door egress and more circuitous route around the house, rather than take these items through the house. They did this cheerfully, making it seem easy, which I so appreciated! I will continue to use this company, because of their commitment to excellent customer service. This commitment extends from the owner, John Ferrara, to all of his employees. They make every effort to make the entire experience pleasant, easy and efficient for the customer, at a very fair price.

They were on-time, and quickly carried out the sofa without any trouble. While I could have accomplished this for free through my trash hauler, I was willing to pay for no-hassle disposal. They did exactly what I paid them for, and what they said they would do. Only criticism is that the price I was given over the phone was a little higher than what I remember seeing on the website (which was likely outdated.) I would use them again.

My mother-in-law sold her house after living there for 53 years. There was a lot of junk, trash, old furniture, broken tools, etc throughout the house. I spoke with John who was extremely helpful and courteous and gave me a rough estimbate based on the scope of work I described on the phone. He then set up a time to review the scope of work at the house. There were a few items he could resell so he discounted the price. We were also able to move a few items out on our own so when John and his team showed up to haul the trash they adjusted their price and we agreed on that price before they proceeded. They were flexible in scheduling a time to haul the trash as well. They showed up on time and the two guys that took the trash were very nice and respectful as my mother-in-law is 82 years old. They were careful not to bang into walls and took their time removing larger, heavier items. They cleaned out the house in about an hour and a half. The price was fair and quite honestly was less than other junk haulers that just leave a dumpster at the house. The overall experince was very positive and I would recommend them to anyone that needs this type of service. Thanks to John and his team for making this a very easy process for my mother-in-law.

The 2 men who came were very professional, easy to work with and did the work with a positive attitude despite the gross mouse feces found in the insulation stored on an upper shelf of our garage by previous owners. They worked with me to keep the price reasonable and close to what was quoted me on the phone, although what they took was a considerable amount more than I originally realized needed to go. I would highly recommend One Call Cleanout to anyone considering this company. The entire process was very simple - from the friendliness of the person on the phone to the completion of the job.

My Estate Clean Out was a sizeable project and after talking with a number of clean out firms it appeared that One Call Clean Out was the most qualified for the job. John, the owner, arrived at the scheduled time to perform a walk through of the Philadelphia property, describe their process and approach, and provide a firm cost for the service. The property was an eight room three story row house, plus a garage, absolutely filled to capacity with 73 years of accumulated artcles (clothing, artifacts, books, dishes televisions, hobby equipment. tools, cook ware, etc.). Additionally, there were 16 closets and metal cabinets also completely filled with various items. The contents of the property were piled deep in all of the rooms and basement. On the day of service, the One Call Clean Out team arrived on-time, individually introduced themselves and started the process. The team consisted of John and three associates who were careful, courteous and efficient. Whenever an article was encountered, thought to be of monetary or sentimental value, it was immediately brought to my attention. Throughout a long day their attitude and work ethic remained constant. There were a few additional items remaining and the team returned promptly the following day and quickly completed the process. Once again, I would like to stress the magnitude of this clean out. On a side note: I have read other reviews that mentioned the size of their trucks and trailer as being small for the task. I was amazed at what they were able to contain in these vehicles - impressive. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend One Call Clean Out for a project of any size. I informed John of another upcoming project where I will again be reaching out to his team for assitance.
