Description of Work: Air conditioner needed tune up, same day call back. Needed return for another problem, fast response and did courtesy fix until new part comes in! Air working well since thank goodness! Dan was reliable, honest, prompt, and explained what was wrong and what to do to fix it.

Description of Work: Came out to clean the furnace as it was making a bad smell and was apparently filthy. Replaced the gas head on an old boiler improving efficiency and cleaner burn. Great service and great guys.

Description of Work: Green Heating and Air Conditioning impressed me. He is not a man out to take you, more so, he will fix what he can to save you money. I called him to come out and check my Air Conditioning....and he did a great job, and took time to explain things to me, and didn't charge me an arm or a leg. This guy isn't driven by greed, but by far, good customer service. I will definately call him again. He also wore booties when he came in the house....was polite and informative. I know I can trust him to do the job to the best of his ability with concern for my pocketbook. I wish more contractors would be like him.

Description of Work: Dan provided a Seasonal Furnace Tuneup. He adjusted "the flow check valve" and resolved problems with the thermostat wiring. He also provided an estimate in case the flow check valve needs to be replaced.

Even gave me some information on my boiler that I hadn't known before! Total process took maybe 30 mins or so and I couldn't have been happier with the service!  + -1 moreWe contacted Green Heating and Air Conditioning on an extremely hot evening when our air conditioner stopped working. Dan was able to come to the house that evening. He was able to assess the situation and figure out the problem immediately. He promptly returned the next day with the capacitor that needed to be replaced. Within minutes our 90 degree house began feeling cooler. I would recommend that you call them with any of your heating and air conditioning needs.

 + -1 moreThe most important aspect of this work was the conceptual problem solving that required heating and cooling a timber frame home with open cathedral ceilings. I continue to be amazed how well this system heats and cools my home. Dan was able to design, install, and maintain the system. His knowledge is extensive but he knows how to explain the work in layman's terms, something I appreciate very much. He also works with his colleagues in a very professional way. It is apparent that everyone enjoys working with him. He stays in touch with me to make sure everything is working and never misses a maintenance check when the heating/cooling seasons begin. I never have to call him. He always keeps in touch. Dan goes beyond the job description and incorporates creativity, technical skill, and communication. He is the best.
Description of Work: Dan did my entire heating/cooling system. He reconfigured my existing oil/hot water system to work with the new heat pump and air conditioning. The system is configured to heat the house with the heat pump until it drops below 32 degrees, at which point the oil burner will kick in. Retrofitting a duct system into a timber frame is no easy task. The system was designed to take up a little space as possible and still maintain efficiency. Outstanding work all around.
