We were doing some upgrades in our older house and I wanted to have central A/C and to remove the old baseboard heating system. I contacted a couple of the larger A/C contractors and they all came in around the same price while using different manufacturers and in some cases even different sized systems. I found an ad for Green Heating and called Dan who quickly scheduled a visit. I liked Dan from the start. He's down to earth and personable. His price was excellent, he was a couple thousand dollars cheaper than one of the other contractors while quoting almost the same equipment (one of the components that Dan used was a new version than the other guy quoted). When we were finally ready for the installation, Dan worked with me to schedule the installation and he did it in the time promised and in the time frame he quoted. I like the system and we were very comfortable in our home this summer, which was hot and this was the first summer that we've had whole house AC. In 9 months we have had 0 issues with the system. I whole heartedly recommend Dan and will use him when general system checks or any maintenance is needed.

Dan and his Dylan were phenomenal. I contacted Dan a few weeks ago when I noticed the blower fan on one outdoor AC unit was not working. Dan was booked out for a few weeks for regular maintenance service calls (and now I can I understand why he's in high demand). I did not need urgent service since the weather was fair and I had another AC unit to hold us over. Dan was able to special order a new motor ahead of our appointment and bring it with him. Besides being very friendly, and of course, punctual and professional, he was very easy to work with when discussing overall HVAC concerns in my home that we recently moved into. After repairing the fan motor for a great price, they also did an above-and-beyond cleaning+fixups on the indoor and outdoor units. Needless to say, I'm VERY happy with their service and will have them back in the fall for winter readiness and potentially to rework some ducts (my idea, not his)....and I hope for many years to come! It went great. Dan is an honest and straightforward businessman. He explains all your options clearly and doesn't try to oversell services. He is responsive and the quality of work is excellent. Our HVAC system was getting old and was very inefficient, so we proactively replaced both units. When he gave me the quote, I pushed for a more expensive AC unit as it seemed more efficient. Dan explained that in our climate, we would gain little from the additional efficiency, since the difference was so little. I'm sure selling a more expensive unit would have benefited him, but I appreciated his honesty. I would highly recommend his services.

Dan and his crew were polite, professional, timely, fair and accessible. Dan quickly returns communications and responds to the customers needs. Personally I found him to be reasonable, helpful and willing to listen to my concerns and requests. He is a contractor that you feel comfortable to hire because of his personal skills. He works with you rather than dictate which was my first impression and my reason for contracting his services. Pricing was fair and work was executed in an efficient, concise and timely manner. Install was clean and respectful to owners property. Would hire again without pause. I may have given a misleading statement when I wrote: "He works with you rather than dictate which was my first impression... " I would like to clarify that statement by adding that Dan does not dictate like other contractors do. Instead he cooperates with your requests toward a reasonable solution to solve your needs. My first impression of him was that I knew he was amenable to my ideas.

Dan was prompt in giving me a quote that was less then 3 other quotes. He used a furnace made in PA . Showed up on time and completed work by 4PM. Work area was left cleaner then it was originally . Friendly and professional are two labels easily applied to Dan. Recommend highly.

Their pricing for the tune up is good and fair. I never had anything bad to say about him.

Our air conditioner recently was not working properly so we called them and they came right out. They got it fixed right and did not charge us for the visit but only for the parts since we were under their plan. We would recommend this company. Very professional and reliable.

Dan and his son arrived promptly and set right to work. Dan informed me, when they were done, that my system was in remarkably good shape. That was a relief as the system is twenty years old. Someone less ethical could have insisted that I needed a new compressor, as my former HVAC company had attempted to do with the furnace last fall. I'm very glad to have found Dan and plan to call on him for fall furnace maintenance. (Note that I used a coupon available from Green's H&A page on Angie's List).
