I woke up to find that my air conditioning was not blowing cold air through the vents. Contacted Green's using the online contact form and received a response within the hour. Dan was able to squeeze me into his schedule for the same day, arrived on time, was very professional and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He identified the issue (ice build-up inside the unit), proposed the least expensive repair option (recharge the freon) and suggested a follow-up visit for maintenance/service to re-check for leaks, etc. in October. Highly recommend.

I had a problem with ac not cooling off second floor of a split level home.New ac was installed about five years ago.It really did not help much if at all.I had Dan for an ac tuneup,and asked if he had any suggestions.He made one suggestion,and it ended five years of aggravation .

When over all the check points with me and explained in detail what they are looking for when doing an inspection. They are true professionals and we need more like them.

I had five quotes. Being an engineer, I am very picky and neurotic if I hire someone to work on my house. Dan was recommended by a colleague from work. Our house is 50+ years old and has a 25 year old oil burner forced hot air system in good condition. The house never had central air conditioning. Dan reviewed our layout and determined how our existing furnace blower and plenum could be integrated with an evaporator unit. Dan accommodated my preference for the location of the condenser and we discussed an effective routing for the lines through the basement and garage. Dan quoted options for four systems ranging in price and efficiency. Being that I had quotes from five contractors, I had a good idea of the range of prices and Dan's quotes were very reasonable. Dan installed the system in one day according to plan and I was extremely pleased with his workmanship. I've waited until we had hot weather and good usage of the air conditioning before writing this review - I am very satisfied with the system. I am also impressed with Dan's knowledge regarding my oil burning furnace and will be using Dan for routine maintenance and repairs on my complete HVAC system.

Very grateful to Dan and his son for coming to my house within an hour of the call to look at my a/c system that had stopped working on a very hot day. Originally I had called him to get a quote for an entire new system because my usual HVAC company had come out earlier that morning and told me the system had failed and all of the refrigerant had leaked out. I was expecting to just get a price comparison for a new system but within minutes of looking at the unit, Dan informed me that the prior provider had totally misinformed me. My system was not broken and not only did it have refrigerant, none of it had leaked at all. Dan stated the possible reason for the lack of air flow from the vents may be due to a clog in the refrigerant line which if it happens again he would be glad to come out and install a filter on the line for about $250. Dan was also kind of upset that a fellow provider on angie's would try to make me spend upwards of $5000 for a new system when it was definitely not needed. The only word that comes to mind when referring to Dan and Green Heating and Air is integrity. Some would take someone asking far a quote on a new system and give them just that. Instead Dan saved me and my family thousands of dollars and educated me as to why the system ceased to pump air through the vents. I will surely tell friends, neighbors, and family about my experience with Green.

Dan was extremely responsive, punctual, and professional. His price for a new ac was lower than all other companies in the area and the service exceeded our expectations. He finished ahead of schedule and now we can sleep comfortably on our top floor. Very highly recommended.

Dan is very professional, takes pride in his work and stands by it.. I have called Dan for several heating and cooling job and have been impressed each and every time. Dan did a great job. Showed up on time. Inspected and cleaned my ac unit. Tested my system. Replaced a wire that was faulty. Gave me an evaluation/opinion of the viability of my system. I always appreciate his honesty and opinion. Did not try to push a new system on me. Said my system is still viable and has some life left in it. Will hire again in the future.

I messaged Dan via Angies List on Sunday because my Air conditioner at home was only blowing warm air. He replied promptly and we setup an appointment for Monday evening after 4PM when I was available. He was prompt in arrival, coming exactly when he said he would. He diagnosed my issue in about five minutes time and recommended a course of action. Another ten minutes went by and the issue was resolved. He then looked at the way my AC was setup and answered questions I had regarding options for replacement and pricing. Would not hesitate to contact Dan again for future needs. I've also worked with him to have my parents house serviced, with similar positive results. Always appreciate an honest business in this day and age.

Everything was prompt, courteous and very fairly priced.

Dan was punctual, clean (including use of booties), and explained what he was doing carefully. He clearly explained my options, and charged a fair price for supplies. Arrived promptly. Temporarily fixed my heating unit until the actual part was in stock. Once the part was ready, again, arrived promptly and was extremely courteous. I would refer to Green Heating & Air for all my future heating/air conditioning needs!

Dan was great. He took the time to show my wife what was wrong then showed her while fixing it how it improved and was very good with detail and always was there to Anserw any questions before he even did any work I will use green heating again in the future I think anyone looking for heating or A/C work should call this great company. Dan was really great. He was on time and didn't make a mess of my house (lots of snow that day) and did a nice job cleaning and evaluating my furnace system. I liked his honesty and a glad he didn't try a sales pitch. Told me that my older unit was still viable and not to run out to replace it at this time. Even followed up later via email with a question I had. I would definitely hire him again.

Dan has been excellent to work with from the start. He's always quick to respond and is genuinely interested in making sure I don't feel taken advantage of. I had one of the bigger companies in the area come check out our heat pump and they quoted us at least $1800 without really looking at the unit. That's a big difference from the $1100 it cost with Dan, which includes the coil which will be covered by warranty, making our ultimate cost roughly $650. Some people might take issue with having to pay for parts before they're installed, but that's a small price to pay for the quality, personal service you get. I highly recommend Dan and I'm glad we've found someone we can trust going forward.

I can't recommend Dan and his company highly enough: he was responsive, professional, prompt, thorough, and polite, and his services are very fairly priced. Since we are new to this house, he gave me a detailed demonstration on how to change the filters, which I appreciated, and he also documented for me what filters to order. (He pointed out there was no rush; the existing filters would be good for another month, at least.) He was also kind enough to include in that service the installation of two new programmable thermostats in the house. Before he left, he set up the programs and made sure I knew how to operate them. After discovering the malfunctioning circuit board, he sent an estimate via email within hours, as promised, that included labor. We gave him the go-ahead to order, and he and his assistant were back here within the week to do the repair-- again, right on schedule. Green Heating & Air Conditioning is definitely on our "favorites" list!

Dan performed maintenance service on our heat pump system and added freon as required. Dan was very professional and explained everything he was doing through the visit. While this was simply a maintenance call, I would certainly call Dan again for any future HVAC needs.

I was very happy with the sevice. They were very nice, professional, on time and informative. He recommended work that would make the unit more effecient, but with no sales pressure at all. Overall, I liked them very much and will use them again.

Dan was an excellent technician, friendly, efficient and careful of his surroundings. He called to say he might be a few minutes late and arrived as he had advised and set to work immediately. He let us know that the previous company who serviced our heater left the cover off and so he had a lot of cleaning to do. All in all a great experience.

Dan was great to work with.. Replied to emails on a Sunday when I put the request in. Was very flexible on getting the date to work for me .Arrived on time, did a great job. Showed me a few things about the furnace I did not know. Had concerns that flood water had gotten into the furnace, He told me within 20 minutes that the furnace was working great and no worries. There were cheaper options on Angies List but after reading his reviews and seeing his Website , it was a good decision, Cheaper is not always the answer. This was a special Angie's deal. Dan arrived on time, did the work quickly (straightforward yearly maintenance), and did a good job. Very easy to communicate with. I was not charged any more than the special price. He also gave me an estimate (that I requested) on more complicated work, but I'm postponing for the time. Overall I'm very satisfied. I'd use them again.
