Sabol did an amazing job. The work is top notch and Linda is a pleasure to work with on the office end. The pricing was very fair and she worked with me on a payment arrangement that worked for all involved. I will definitely be working with Sabol in the future. Highly recommended!

They were very punctual, and communicated very well. The lady on the phone was very nice and very pleasant. When they came out, they did a good job. I have one room that I use as a reading room that needed new foundation. They did a good job on that, and it looks very very nice. They tried telling me I didn't really need the work, but I insisted, because I wanted it to look nice. I had an issue with one thing, and he replaced it. Plus he gave me a very good price on everything. I was very satisfied. He tried to do everything that we talked about. As soon as the rain stopped I had him come and finish up. The only thing I was not satisfied with, when he did the re-pointing, I thought he would use the same type of concrete- he didn't. It didn't match what was already on my house. He used cement, but it wasn't the same type that was on my house. But the job was good, I have to say that. I felt he was very truthful. Anytime I had any questions they took the time to explain everything to me.

Nice job. Came to our home quickly during a busy season and gave us a very reasonable quote. The person in the office who did the scheduling was so kind and helpful. The job itself was completed in one day. Paul was in and out in no time and left no mess. Would definitely recommend their services.

I got a few quotes before choosing Sabol, who I chose mostly because of their high Angies List rating. Every chimney service company had a different idea about what had to be repaired to thoroughly rehab my chimney. Sabol originally said that 13 bricks had to be replaced (plus lots of other work). But after they started making repairs they eventually replaced 22 bricks. I offered to pay them extra, above their original quote, but they said no. It took them 2 days to fix everything: 3 workers during the first day and 3.5 workers during the 2nd day (the half worker was at my home only half a day). After they completed everything they helped me get on my roof to inspect my chimney. I was very impressed by the quality of their work. Even though you can't see the chimney's mortar joints from the street, and thus might expect a contractor to not worry too much about how "pretty" the joints are, Sabol's crew did really beautiful work. The joints were symmetrical, ground down nicely, and the color of the new mortar joints and bricks matched the original joints and bricks very nicely. They also did a very nice job cleaning up everything after they were finished. I would definitely use Sabol for any future chimney work and I feel very comfortable recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

I called for an estimate and they told me three week, they came the next day. When I called to approve the estimate they said two weeks and were at my house five days later. You can't ask for better service. Chimney looks great and is no longer leaking. Yea! I definitely would use them again.

Sabol Masonry answered their telephone when I called, an estimator was at my house within the week and the repairs completed three days later. In addition to completing the work assigned, the mason inspected the brick around my house and repaired a few small joint cracks of which I was unaware. The people at Sabol Masonry were responsive, courtesies and efficient. They performed quality masonry work on time and on budget.

Excellent work by Paul and his crew. Very professional and skilled workers. Paul went beyond the scope of the work and cleaned out my gutters and took care of a few other items. The communication with Paul and the office staff was excellent. My experiences with contractors have typically not been positive but Sabol Masonry is uncharacteristically professional. I would recommend their services and will utilize them again if needed.

Very well. They came promptly to estimate the job. Their price seemed high but not unreasonable. An appointment was made, to begin shortly after we agreed to the plan and price. A crew of 2-5 people worked for 5 days. They prepared the area and the adjacent walls, repaired the one wall and erected the second (each about 4 ft wide by 6 ft high). They filled, smoothed and prepped the two garage walls that had been exposed when the planters were taken down, and then painted them in a color close to the color of the adjoining brick. Finally, they removed a block from the garage wall and inserted the window vent. When they were done, they cleaned up everything, including the area where stone debris had been left when the planters were removed. Throughout the work, they were vary careful, including not damaging adjacent shrubbery, and were very professional. Whoever was on site at any time worked steadily.

Paul Sabol and his office quickly returned calls, came out for an estimate on a timely basis, met all commitments for work to be performed and timelines, did a quality job and was a pleasure to deal with. Pricing was reasonable for the services performed. Paul had solid knowledge and understanding of my problem and how to fix. I had prior work done on the chimney to stop a water leak by multiple companies and Sabol Masonry was the only one to be able to correctly diagnose the problem and suggest a suitable, cost effective solution. I highly recommend Paul Sabol and Sabol Masonry.

It went great from the estimate until it was done! I got a few estimates and out of the few, Paul was the only one who actually climbed up there and told me truly what was wrong and was able to give me the most accurate estimate. When we decided to schedule them, Linda let us know they were 3 weeks out and she worked with us to let her know any days they may need to stay away from. She called me on a Friday, at almost exactly 3 weeks (I think a little less) and they were here Monday morning for the job. Paul and his crew were very polite and pleasant to work with! My fianc? stayed home to see the work done and be agreed that it was an extremely pleasant experience. Paul and his crew always let us know what they were doing and were prompt to come to us if there was a question. They moved my patio furniture for me so they could setup the scaffolding and put it back when they were done. They also kept everything very clean! What was supposed to be a 3 day job, only ended up being two days, and besides the beautiful chimney and parging, you would have never known there was scaffolding and bricks, etc in my yard! Very clean! He was very thorough in his work and explaining everything. Now we have a fantastic new chimney! (He even checked the chimney from the basement)

We received rather different descriptions of the problem with the leaning chimney and proposed solutions from different masonry contractors. Paul Sabol came out multiple times and actually got on the roof to look at the problem to give us an accurate estimate and detailed statement of work, which the other contractors did not do, so we felt much more confident in hiring him. The team that came was prompt and professional, and did a great job cleaning up.

I called them on a Friday afternoon at 4 PM for a job that had to be completed within a week. They came to give me an estimate Saturday afternoon and the work was done on Tuesday. Linda, who took my call, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was so nice and accommodating. Paul and his team who came to do the work were very professional and nice, as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have masonry work done in the area.

Sabol Masonry did an outstanding job on the work that I contracted them to do. They were very professional, very friendly, and very reasonably priced. Mr. Sabol came to my home and gave me an estimate on the work needed, put me on the schedule, and a team of two masons knocked out the job in no time. I'm having them back in the summer to perform additional work. I would highly recommend them.

I was very disappointed. I got them from Angie’s List. The guy came to our house and we explained what we had wanted, and what we got was different from what we thought we were going to get. He did spot pointing and we went over the whole house with him. Our main concern was the front porch. He sent me the proposal and he said he was going to do the chimney and he was going to do the front porch. I assumed that his spot pointing was for the front porch because that is what we had talked about. There was an issue with the side of the house and we figured that his spot pointing was going to cover the areas of our concern. We had just gotten a new metal roof on and he told me that they didn’t want to get on that roof. I wasn’t home when they came and they didn’t even do the front porch and they didn’t do it on the side where we had the concern. I just expected the work to be better. I thought that it would look better than what it was and I was very disappointed. The guy was very nice and I really liked the guy, who was the owner. He was a nice guy and very down to earth but I am just not happy with the quality of their work. I paid a lot of money for a service that I just was not happy with. I thought that they were very professional and they did respond.

Mr. Sabol responded to my call the same day and arranged to see me the following day. He inspected our chimney, and told me what the problem was and what needed to be done. He then went to the brick company to get matching bricks. He came with his crew the following day and worked most of the day taking down the chimney and replacing the parts. His crew did a wonderful cleanup at the end of this day. He came very early the next day to complete the work. Once again, the crew cleaned up all the debris that had fallen from dismantling the chimney. He was very professional and left by thanking me for the work. He told me that the chimney was in perfect shape at this point.

They came out when they said they would. It was a big messy job and they cleaned out every bit of it. Another crew joined them and they did a two day job in one day. Nothing seems to be leaking, I'm assuming what was done was done well.

Showed up on time for the estimate and the work. They took down most of the retaining wall and rebuilt it. Did a good job and cleaned up nicely. The top is uneven and could have been done a little better, even with working with that type of block but it's okay.

Paul and his crew were very professional. The process was handled very well from the time I made the appointment to the completion of the work. Communication was excellent. The work was well done. Paul had his workers clean out my gutters as well even though that was not part of the scope. I would recommend them and use them again.

It went really well. They are very busy, so I knew that they must perform plenty of work. Linda worked with me for a few months and gave me updates as to when they would be able to complete our work. I would definitely suggest calling as early in the spring as possible to schedule your work. When the crew came out to perform the work they asked for access to water and I left them to do the work while I was at work. They finished it before I got off of work for the day. I'm not a masonry expert, but they performed the work just as promised. Our chimney looks great. I have only one complaint and I believe that it is my fault for not being clear with the Sabol guys before I left. What happened is that the mortar remnants or mixture was dumped on our front yard in our grass. It ended up killing our grass and I had to clean up a small amount of mortar to get the yard back to shape. This is not a big deal, but I would recommend mentioning to the guys where they can/should dump their waste. I absolutely recommend Paul and his boys for any and all masonry work.

They came out promptly for the estimate, and were able to get started on the work a little earlier than estimated. They showed up on time and set up scaffolding, did all of the work, removed scaffolding, and cleaned up the front and back decks in one day. We were very happy with their work They were very professional and did a very nice job.

I called Sabol on Monday, November 10, 2014 and the owner was at my house on Wednesday around 8am to look at the work that was needed and said that I would have an estimate in 1 to 2 days. I received a call from his office on Thursday with the estimate of $750. His estimate was the lowest estimate I received. I received two other estimates for $800 and $1500. I told the office that I wanted to hire Sabol. I was told that they were trying to wrap up their other jobs before the weather got too bad so I would probably see them at the beginning of the week. I received a call on Friday asking if it would be alright for them to start the job on Saturday, November 15. I was so excited to get it done so quickly that I said yes. They said that they would arrive mid morning and by 10:30am, the owners truck arrived and started prepping the area. His co-worker arrived shortly thereafter and finished setting up and did the work. I was told the job would take a day and he was finished in 4-5 hours. One of the bricks got a hairline fracture and the owner brought over several bricks to match my house color. I was very impressed how he was able to select the right color of brick and mortar without taking another look at the house. Sabol also filled in other cracks on that side of the house at no extra charge. They cleaned up all of the debris. They only needed to use my electricity for their grinder and water to mix the mortar. I was also shown the rusted out lintel. Everyone from the receptionist to the workers were so friendly, professional and respectful. I never felt like they were trying to fast talk me as a woman who didn't know anything about the work. I will use them for other pointing jobs needed on my house in the near future. I'm so honored and happy to write this review and I hope you use this company. I had the best experience!

The entire experience with Sabol Masonry was a pleasure. From my first contact with Linda, my quote from Paul and the actual work itself - everything went great. The crew arrived early on the scheduled day and went right to work. Lintel replacement is not a do it yourself type of job. Let the professionals do it - and Paul and his guys are certainly that. I would highly recommend Sabol Masonry and I plan to use them again next year.
