Estimate was provided by Paul. On the day the work was scheduled, the workers showed up exactly on time, introduced themselves and got to work. The work was done quickly and professionally and I am quite pleased with the results. The cleanup of the work area was very thorough.

Great job from start to finish! Paul was very professional, prompt in providing an estimate and timely in the work schedule. Pointing work was excellent, and the crew was happy to take pictures on a cell phone and email them to me so I could see the finished job on top of the house. I would definitely call Paul again when are ready for more pointing.

The work went extremely well. They showed up on time and finished when expected. He and his crew were extremely polite and very pleasant to work with. The did a great job cleaning up. The mortar matches the rest of our house and everything looks neat. They had some extra mortar leftover and fixed a few other little things, which was a nice surprise. They also noticed a smell of gas around our meter. I couldn't smell anything, but called the gas company and found we had a pretty good leak. I greatly appreciated them letting me know about the leak. They did everything they were supposed to do, and more. We are very happy with the whole experience. I would highly recommend Sabol Masonry and would not hesitate to call them again for any future work I may have. Just all around nice people too!

From the initial contact for an estimate through the completed project we COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Mr. Sabol arrived precisely on time for the estimate and precisely on time for the job. He was professional, pleasant and thorough and kept me informed throughout the entire project. He and his crew were extremely polite. They worked very diligently and did a tremendous clean-up. Not only did they work on our house, but they also did a terrific job on my parent's house next door the same day. Mr. Sabol answered every question put to him by my father and me and he very patiently explained everything that was done to our houses. He clearly illustrated and explained the problem areas and discussed the probable causes and the actions he took to correct them. This was possibly the best contractor experience we have ever had.

This was a very positive experience. The quality of the work was excellent.

Linda was very helpful and pleasant on the telephone. The quotation process was easy. Everyone was punctual, both to look at the problem and to make the repairs. Overall, the process was relaxing, straightforward and fair.

We have old (130 years old house) with 5 fireplaces and 2chimneys. Chimneys did not have any crowns and, as a consequence,inside wall of the fireplace on 3rd floor was wet after heavy rains or snow. After signing the contract, had to wait for a couple of months for limestone to be cut and then for my turn in Paul's schedule to come.They worked for 3 days, first installing scaffolding and then working a chimney per day. They rebuilt first 4 rows of one chimney ("as it was not straight") and replaced a couple of blown shingles. No extra charges. Chimneys tops look great. Our fireplace wall is now dry. Working with Linda and Paul Sabol was a nice experience. They will be my first choice for any masonry work.

Called and spoke with Linda for what I needed done. They came out and viewed the property while I was at work (THANK YOU FOR THAT) and called back in the next day or so with the estimate and we went ahead and scheduled the service then. The day of they met me in the morning to review again what was to be done. I provided them access to water and power and left for the morning while they were able to get everything done. As agreed upon they contacted me when they were almost done so I could review everything before they left and give them the final payment. That is the nicest the area has ever looked!! They did a wonderful job, was very courteous to my neighbor (also on his property to perform the work) and now no more water in the basement!!!!

Great! Paul came out for estimate day after I called. Quote was in the same ball park as another we were considering and I liked that they would be replacing the brick on the chimney that needed more work and would also paint the new masonry. Linda was very helpful and very pleasant to work with in scheduling. Work went smoothly. They were very professional and courteous and kept us informed along the way. We are extremely happy with the work done and plan on using Sabol Masonry for future projects.

Paul Sabol responded promptly when we called for an estimate. He reviewed the chimney in detail, explained what needed to be done and sent his quote as he indicated he would. Paul was extremely polite and professional. Paul's crew had to tear down the existing chimney and remove the debris. This work was extremely neat. No damage was done to the lawn and no litter remained. The chimney was then rebuilt. Paul's entire crew was professional and worked quite rapidly. The mortar work is excellent and the flashing and capping all look extremely nice. The leaking problems in the attic have been solved. I would recommend Sabol Masonry. I was impressed with all the people involved and the quality of the work.

Sabol Masonry came in to look at my windows in order to provide an estimate. They were incredibly professional and even came in on a Saturday morning since I work during the week. The estimate they gave was reasonably priced and also detailed what I believed to be reasonable solutions to the leaking issues that we had around our windows. Not only did he inspect the problem areas that I pointed out but he went around the whole house to determine where new problems were likely to occur. He suggested that we replace most of the lintels around the house since many of them were rusting and warping due to age. Included in the lintel replacement was the re-mortaring of bricks that had shifted in order to seal against rain. We decided to go with the three worst lintels for now and do the rest later. They came back to do the work and were very clean and professional. I have no complaints and I would recommend their work to a friend.

Call back was the same day. However when I returned their call back and started to explain what I thought was needed I was interupted by Linda saying that they were booked through Thanksgiving. When I asked for an estimate anyway she then said Paul said to say that they were not taking any jobs until Spring. Something just did not sit right with this conversation. It was almost as though availability was based on what I was saying and how I was articulating what they job may entail. If they truly are that busy and unavailable for estimates and/or jobs until Spring, 2012, I would have appreciated her saying that in the initial message that she left rather than having me call back and to 'screan' what I was saying to apparently determine whether my job was worthy of their consideration. What a waste of time.

I decided to go with him because of the discount offered. I was very pleased with the work. They had 3 young men working on it so they got it done in a day. They grounded out the bricks that were breaking and replaced them along with putting a new cap on the top. There was also a lot of missing mortar and they replaced that without any additional charge. They showed up about 15 minutes early. They used masked for the project to protect themselves. Linda came and I gave her the first payment and they honored the discount. They cleaned up well and came back the second day to wash up a coating of dust on the lawn and around the house. They were very friendly and explained how long it would take. I was very pleased. I would recommend them anyone.

They were very courteous, they work was excellent and the work was done in a very timely manner. They took care of everything from start to finish, including clean up.

Jim was very responsive to our initial inquiry and came out on a Saturday morning to provide the estimate. We were told it would be about 2-3 weeks before they could get to the job but they had an opening and and came out within a week. They completed the job in 2 days. Overall it was a very easy and pleasant home improvement experience and we are satisfied with the quality of the work.

The work was absolutely excellent! They matched the old mortar color (faded from the 1920's) perfectly. I was really impressed.

This firm was outstanding in their performance. Prior to choosing Sabor Masonry, I had several intereactions with Paul and his team. All of my calls and questions were answered promptly. His bid was mid-range to those that I received - but I felt very comfortable as Paul talked through the project with me, that he understood what needed to get done. On the morning that we had agreed to, Paul and his team arrived earlyand completed the job by the end of the day. The project was actually a bit larger than originally estimated as Paul found more layers of bricks that were cracked than we originally saw from the ground. However, there were no additional charges for removing and replacing these additional layers of bricks. Paul's team was very curtious and worked very professionally in completing the tasks. They also did a few additional tasks for me (all minor) but ones that I appreciated - with no increase in fees. They cleaned up and removed all debris at the end of the day and took steps to protect my deck and plants from damage during the work. I would not hesitate to use Sabor Masonry again for any type of masonary work in the future.

They are excellent. They were very reliable. They are good about returning phone calls and emails. They are good at communication. They are friendly and very nice people. They were actually a little less expensive. I will use their services again in the future.

The process was professional and first quality from beginning to end. Linda answered our inquiry promptly and explained the process fully. Paul looked at the job and gave us a quotation. The workers arrived on time and completed the job as expected. There were no issues or surprises. The work was well done. The price as expected. I would use these folks again without reservation.

It didn't last very long. On the other hand he did do a good job on filling a large crack in the driveway up at the top. I couldn't fault him for that. The mortar could be another problem. I don't remember how much we spent. He completed the work in one day. He was professional. He was a very nice man. I probably would not hire him back because the work we would have to have done is beyond his limitations. If we had to get some other driveway work done, I would probably get a driveway professional to do it.
