We were very pleased with results.

DISHONEST. Bought Living Social Deal for ART (much like "discounts" available on Angie's List). Turns out the price I paid for the Living Social Deal was more than if I had just hired Adam (ART) without a "discount". SCAM. At that time, Adam (ART) was charging $25 per hour and his deals are a SCAM. You end up paying more with a deal than without. We supplied all of the paint but for 1 gallon (cost of about $35). Adam emailed me to collect the $35 and I said no because not only had I paid at least $75 more for having the Deal than I would at his regular fee, I didn't get any kind of deal - no huge discount as promised. I felt scammed and angry. I thought about reporting the lies to Living Social, but didn't. They don't have feedback like Angie's List, so I thought it wouldn't do any good. Adam (ART) marks up his regular fees to pretend to give a discount. The pretend discounted price is more than his real price. Compare the "discounts" for yourself - A bedroom takes approximately 2.5 hours (per Adam). That's $25 x 2 men x 2.5 hours = $125 which is a great price. But look at the Angie's list deals - 3 rooms with a regular price of $1,200 and a 58.42% discount to $499. If you hire ART to paint 3 bedrooms, you're paying more for the discount than if you hired them without the discount ($375 non discount compared to $499 "discount"). Even if you choose a larger room (size limited by ART), it still doesn't work out in your favor - and it sure isn't anywhere near the $1,200 quoted in the "deal". In addition, Adam charged us full price for his time although he was constantly taking calls from others and sitting out in his truck talking. MISTAKES NOT FIXED. We were happy with the fresh up dated colors and glad to have it done. We said "thank you" and were always polite. However, there are 18 drip marks and uneven covering on our fireplace mantle, errors where paint from the walls got on the ceiling, paint from the trim on the walls, places where the second coat was missed, paint on the hardwood floors where it dripped, and marks where paint was spilled in the bathroom. I did not deal with the mistakes earlier because I had too much on my plate. My father was dying of pancreatic cancer at the time. 4 HOUR GUARANTEE ANOTHER LIE. NO COMMON COURTESY OR PROFESSIONALISM. SCAM DEALS CONTINUE. We're now on Angie's list to try to get responsible and honest workers. I saw ART and decided to give them a second try at their regular fee - many of the reviews were good (i.e. people who don't know they're being scammed). ART's Angie's List page promises a 4 hour guaranteed response. It's now 2 days since I emailed twice (the second email was a follow up) and 1 day since I called and left a message. NO RESPONSE. In this email, I discussed work to be done as soon as Adam could fit us in, work Adam had already said they'd do, and the mistakes that we'd like to have them fix. We were always polite and thankful for all those things that did go right. No response. No response. No response. And, unless you read this review, the pricing and discount scams will continue.

The owner of this company has been very patient and considerate with me. Health issues have prevented me from being able to redeem the Big Deal that I purchased and he has been pleasurable to speak with. They are a very cooperative company.

ART Painting doesn't supply the paint and they recommended Sherwin-Williams but I don't like them. It hasn't been easy to get a hold of him as his phone died then I was on vacation. So it has been a long time researching and talking about the job with him. A lot of telephone tag.

They did a great job. Adam's team was very professional and the price was the best I could find from a reputable company. They did a great job painting and performed all of their work in a timely manner. I would certainly use them again. At the end of the job there were a few minor fixes that were needed--as I would expect on a job of this size. Adam personally came to the house with a member of his team and made all of the requested touch ups. All and all Adam and his team did a great job. I am planning to use them again in the future on other projects.

I purchased 8 hours of painting from A.R.T as a Big Deal. Making the appointment was no problem. The two painters, Garrett and Jim, arrived promptly when scheduled and worked diligently for 4 hours (2 painters x 4 hours+ 8 hours - I had already approved this). I had already cleaned, spackled, and sanded where necessary. I was pleased that they finished fbaseboards in four bedrooms and a dressing area as well as baseboards in the entire finished part of my basement and had time to do the bi-fold doors as well. They worked in tight quarters without complaining and were very friendly. After they left however, I was horrified to see that they had painted 1/8 - 1/4" up onto the wallpaper or paint on the wall. I have never had professional painters before and I am a meticulous painter, Perhaps this is how aprofessionals do things but I do not. All in all, I am glad to have the painting done but not happy with the paint going onto the walls. It is even mosly although I believe one painter was more careful that the other ( I think it was Garret who was a little more careful. The wall paper cannot be dealt with. So I am stuck with a job I am not satisfied with. They worked up until the four hours were up and then some which may be why their clean up was not perfect. Jim had used a dirty drop cloth and when picked up it left paint chips on the carpet - not a big deal but I have had others who were careful to leave everything as it was when they arrived. All is all I am happy to have the painting done but NOT happy to have paint on my walls.

A.R.T. Industries painted our awning poles and back porch, including all porch posts and the ceiling. They did an excellent job. They were punctual and professional and they cleaned up nicely when they were done. The paint looks great. The owner even followed up with us when the work was completed to make sure we were satisfied and invited us to contact him with any questions or concerns. We will definitely use them for future work.

Ray and Ed arrived as scheduled. Painted 3 bedrooms two coats each. Cleaned up and out the door. Very professional team. Very pleased~

They did a great job. The cost way less than other quotes that we received. They were quick, friendly and personable. They covered all of the furniture. They were very good about our extra requests and things that we asked of them. The place looks great!

I was in a rush trying to meet a move-in date with many tasks to complete beforehand. Adam was very flexible in helping us out and did his part with his team to finish the painting with the least additional hassle possible.

This was a good experience from start to finish. Adam was easy to communicate with--prompt calls, follow-up emails, etc. The two man team he sent arrived on time and did EXCELLENT work. A bonus was that the men wore earphones to listen to their music, so we did not have to listen to a booming radio or CD player all the while they were here. We wish other workers would do the same, as my husband works from a home office some days. All in all, a great experience and a company we are most happy to recommend.

Adam was very professional and patient with me. My project experienced several delays and he was very accomodating.

Adam, the owner of A.R.T., is truly a professional. Throughout the course of the project, he would promplty return phone calls, and occassionally even call me just to let me know how things were progressing. At various times, Adam would make suggestions about what to do to make a ceiling, a part of a wall, etc. look better (for example, we were going to go with smooth ceilings, but Adam suggested to use a stipple pattern on a few of them due to the age of the house). Adam was very accomodating to my work schedule; he would leave samples at the house for me to look at after hours, he would meet me on weekends, etc. He and his crew also worked very well with other contractors doing different work in the house at the same time. He is very trustworthy, too; I gave him a key to my house, and they used a lockbox to store that key for the duration of the job. Throughout the job, I would continue to add more work on and ask him to do more things, which he would always accomodate with a very reasonable price. Also, he was quick to resovle a general concern I had with some of his workers overall cleanliness; he apologized for any inconvenince and quickly corrected the issue. And lastly (and most importantly), the quality of the work for the price I paid was superb; everything looks fantastic. I would highly recommend using A.R.T. They are a quality company, staffed with good workers, giving competitive prices and run by a professional businessman and owner, Adam Trinciante.

Very pleased with the service and quality of work. Adam did everything asked and charged a fair amount for extra work, which included installing a fax in the bathroom and fixing the ceiing. When he couldn't finish the painting, he offered to come back when he as in the area. He recently reached out to coordinate that work - what a pro!

Purchased the the Angie's Deal for this company. It was interior painting of three rooms up to 500 sq. ft. for each room (1500 sq ft. total) for $499 & I had to supply the paint. This price did not include painting the ceiling but that could be done at an extra cost. My living room/dining room (I live in a townhome) hasn't been painted in 15 years and needed freshened up. I also had a bathroom I wanted painted. I included both ceilings to be painted. After purchasing the deal I contacted the owner and made arrangements and set a date. I was told the painter would be here at 7:30 am and he was. The painter, Raymond, quickly got to work. Lunch time came & I offered to buy him lunch but politely declined. He said he brought some sandwiches. He did take a short break for those. By 2:30 he was done and cleaned up.

Two painters were sent to complete my kitchen which was done in less than three hours. The painters did very sloppy work. There were large paint drips left on the walls, paint drips on baseboards, paint on the ceramic backsplash and the kitchen cabinet. Someone also leaned against the wet paint and left a large section of black fuzz affixed to the paint. There were several very thin spots as well. Overall the work was quite careless. Some things I could fix easily such as scraping the paint off of the ceramic tile and the kitchen cabinet. Paint spots on the caulking could not be removed however. Other things took more effort as I had to sand the paint drips and repaint those sections. I also had to do another coat on many of the high areas where it appears that there was only one coat applied. The work was completed on Thursday 12/15. I called the owner, Adam, on Friday 12/16. He apologized and agreed to come and look at it and said he'd make sure it got fixed. He agreed to call on Saturday 12/17 to arrange a time to come over the weekend. It's 12/22 and I haven't heard from him yet. I also sent him an email on 12/20/11 and he hasn't replied to that either. I would never use this company again. The only good point I can say is that the painters arrived on time and seemed friendly. I graded the price as a C bc the original $89 price was great. Considering how much extra work I've had to put in, it should probably be rated even lower. Update: I never received an email (I also checked my junk mailbox) or a return phone call. I only got a response after I posted this negative report. As for the drips, these were new drips. Additionally, there was paint on the backsplash grout that I couldn't scrape off. I did receive the refund, but take issue with being characterized as someone trying to take advantage of this contractor. I ended up re-painting the room and therefore did not profit from this complaint.

Adam and his associates were prompt, professional, clean and pleasant. Work quality was excellent and the crew was easy to work with. Adam also was flexible enough to change the date of service on short notice which was a pleasant bonus. I would highly recommend them and plan on utilizing their services in the future.

Everything went very well! Adam was very easy to work with initially to plan what needed to be done and made sure to come out and see the house promptly. The two painters that did the work (I believe one of them was named Rick) were excellent. They were extremely friendly and professional and did a great job. Not only do the rooms look great (and the kitchen will look even better when I replace the light fixture!), but they cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they were there. I would absolutely recommend working with them.

It went very smoothly. They arrived and departed during normal business hours. The owner and his team were very efficient, quiet, and polite. The painted rooms are beautifully done. They cleaned up completely. I am already planning to use them again.

I was not at home. I was at work, the workers finished in 1 day and were gone before I came home from work. I had spoken a couple of times with the owner during the day and things were going smoothly. When I got home, the job was finished, and I was extremely pleased. They did an excellent job, and I plan on using them again next year for the same thing, and maybe something more extensive like interior house painting in the future. Very pleased.

I own a two unit building and live up stairs and rent out the first floor. The floor layout of each unit is identical. A little over a year ago, the paint was bubbling and peeling from the ceiling and walls of the first floor bath. I hired a painter that came in and he scarped, resurfaced and painted the ceiling and walls. And then earlier this year I realized it was bubbling and peeling again even worse than before. I called A.R.T. for an estimate. The contractor came over and said right away it looked like water damage, so he checked out the second floor bath and confirmed there was a leak from the bathtub plumbing. He gave me an estimate for work he could do after the plumbing problem was corrected. Once it was. he came back promptly and repaired the damage to the first floor bath. He was very professional, courteous, and respectful of the rest of the house. He put down drop clothes all the way from the front door in through the bathroom. He used quality materials including high quality mildew resistant bathroom paint. He came back the second day and did the painting so the new dry wall seal could dry overnight. The quality of his work was excellent. My tenant loves her new bathroom and I shouldn’t be going through this again next year because this contractor was professional enough to realize there must be a leak somewhere and not just scrape and paint over it. He also used a shop vacuum and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving both days. I’d recommend him highly and plan to have him do more work down the road.

Every time I use them they send me a quote via email, they are able to start quickly and do great job.
