Carl visited the property several times and spent a great deal of time advising me on the best way to repair this wall esthetically. He did an outstanding job of the stucco work, consulting with me each step of the way, and brought in topsoil at his own expense and spread it in front of the wall in order to complete an aesthetic look for the wall. He will paint it later once the stucco cures (for an additional $500, included in the original estimate).

I first contacted Carl one evening and he called me back that same night. We schedule a time for him to come look at the job and see what we wanted done. He was on time for the initial visit and completely understood what we wanted. He submitted his bid and gave us a better idea for the stuccoed wall. We had to wait before he could do the job but waiting for him was the best decision we could have made. Carl and his team was on time each day and cleaned the job site daily.They were courteous and professional through the entire job and it was very comfortable having his team in the house as part of the process. We had daily updates and the job was completed as scheduled. The results were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We interviewed a total of three contractors and we know we found the best. After Carl left we started thinking about re-stuccoing the back of the house in the spring and we know we would hire Carl for that job as well.

Carl was very professional and easy to work with. When I called him for an estimate I left a message he called me back the next morning. That was a Friday, Monday he gave me an estimate. I called him a few weeks later to offer him the job he said it would be at least a month because two big jobs just came in. He called three weeks later to say he could do it the next day. The kitchen has not leaked since. We were very happy with his work and would definitely use him again.

Carl returned my call within 24 hours. He was very professional and prompt in looking at the problem and giving me an estimate. He was the only person that took the time to explain what he going to do and how. He was at my house for three days and every day he called me at the end of the day to let me know what they had completed and what they planned to do the next day. His work was done well and the place was left spotless when he left. I plan to hire him again in the spring of next year for an additional job. I am very pleased with his work.

Carl was extremely prompt, returned calls on time, arrived on time, explored all avenues in an effort to identify the problem and best solution and is his price was very, very reasonable. In order to do the job, Carl had to move some heavy planters but made certain he returned to put them back in place. I would use Carl again without hesitation and recommend him highly.

Along with the glass block windows, Artistic Masonry/Carl waterproofed our basement, stuccoed the walls, and put in a French drain.

Carl poured four sidewalk blocks for us. He pointed our stone wall which was falling apart & was covered in moss. He replaced stones & pointed the new & old stones & matched the colors perfectly. He also repaired our front steps. There are 6 steps & a landing, the steps curve into our front entrance. He replaced each step with Pennsylvania blue stone & repointed the treads, cheekwalls & exterior walls of the steps. I couldn't believe how great it looked when he was done. He is truly artistic. He was neat & clean & punctual & very professional. Great work & a great price.

When we decided we wanted a brick patio but knew we needed to stay within our budget, we called Carl. I was all but certain we wanted more than we could afford. He clearly explained to us what he could do with what we had to spend. We made very few concessions to stay within our budget and now have a beautiful herringbone pattern patio. Overall, our project went amazingly well. It is very important to me that contractors arrive when they say they will for both estimates and work. Carl is reliable, very professional, and does beautiful work in a timely manner.

We called Carl for an estimate. He arrived promptly, and we were immediately impressed with his professional manner. After he looked at the chimney, we accepted his bid and set a date to have the work done. On the day of the job, he arrived on time, completed his work, and left the job site as clean as he found it. Oh, and the chimney looks great. We didn't realize how bad it was until it was fixed.
