Provided estimate 10/2021. Later told they were booked thru end of year and could schedule for the spring 2022. Called this summer after no follow up to email requests to schedule the work and still told they are short on help and cannot schedule the work at this time. Almost 10 months and a job can't be scheduled. Seriously, stop advertising if you can't or won't do the job.

Perfectly. Carl met with me for a challenging problem/project I had previously hired (years ago) another contractor to solve/install. It involved installing a natural stone “stairway,“ with landings, on two small hills. The previous contractor did not succeed. Carl assessed and knew instantly what needed to be done, gave me a reasonable price, communicated effectively, always showed up on time with his crew and, at the risk of sounding hyperbolic, did a perfect job. Every member of his crew was customer and project focused. I already plan to welcome them back for another project elsewhere on my property.

Our 1890s Victorian had a brick sidewalk that was in pretty bad shape. Artistic Masonry had done work for us in the past so we asked them for a quote. The job was well planned out and then executed to that plan. Weather added some challenges but the team adapted as needed. We are thrilled with the result. Neighbors and walkers have also commented on the great job. We highly recommend Artistic Masonry to meet your needs.

Carl and his team were EXCELLENT to work with! Very consultative, did wonderful work, and were very reasonably priced. I have a stone facade house that's over 100 years old and required repointing. Carl was extremely knowledgeable on historic restoration techniques and the specialized materials work like this requires. His crew was efficient and treated my home like their own, cleaning up each day, minding the landscaping, and doing high quality work. Carl and his guys were extremely friendly and courteous. Easy to communicate with, very professional the whole time. Worked efficiently, kept a tidy workspace, left it looking great. Carl and his team from Artistic Masonry Co. did an amazing job on our front stoop. When the original plan of replacing the brick structure got turned on its head (they discovered the original marble stairs beneath it), Carl and the team pivoted from the original plan to restore the stoop to its original form and beauty. We're honestly amazed with the results. This was by no means a straightforward job, but Carl and his team handled it seamlessly and with nothing but a positive attitude. We will definitely contact them with any future needs and can't recommend them enough.

PGW wrecked about three feet our old flagstone sidewalk when running a new gas-line into our house. Since my kids kept falling into the hole, I knew that I had better act! Carl was great to work with. He got the project done in one day, and he and his guys were very professional and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. There was one spot where PGW had spray painted a slate stone and they even removed that yellow piece and rearranged the stones so that I wouldn't have to see the paint. It was a very thoughtful touch! I would definitely hire him again!

Working with Carl and his workers was very easy. Carl explained the things that he felt that I should know about the work. We scheduled a time and Artistic Masonry showed up exactly on time. They told me when they would start and stop and how long the job would take. Carl and his workers were very courteous, worked hard, and cleaned up after they were done. They moved some items in the basement that they needed to and put them back when they were done. I did have a question about one thing and Carl scheduled a time and came back and addressed it. I was very pleased with the work and would definitely hire them again. They did a very nice job and the basement walls look great.

This is the fourth project we have reached out to Carl about. So that says quite a bit about what we think of their work. He has repointed our brick front and rebuilt the stoop. He has built a cement walkway and a simpler fix of filling in a mortar joint between my and my neighbors house as we had yet another water infiltration issue. Carl and his crew are always professional and the work is always done really well. Carl is very communicative on statuses and if there are any issues. He is also very good and going over any reasons for potential changes to the project and why we would want to consider it. The only downside to Artistic Masonry, and this is not much of a downside when compared to the quality of work, is it often takes a while to schedule the work. I have found its worth waiting for. Overall we are definitely pleased with this project and how it went. We will be reaching out to Carl for our next masonry project.

From the initial meeting and estimate, through project completion, Carl Yockey managed all the details personally. Carl was wonderful as well as his staff. He was prompt in providing an estimate and explained what needed to be done to achieve a dry basement. The original french drain and sump pump were no longer removing water. The walls were lumpy, bumpy and crumbling into the original pipes. He smoothed the walls and reparged the surface of the walls. He removed the concrete where necessary, replaced the liner and pipes, replaced the sump pump and concreted the floors. It looks like a new basement! Carl kept me informed throughout the job. He made recommendations to save me money, he even cleaned out a gutter that was clogged and pouring water towards the basement! He and his staff were clean and courteous. I highly recommend Artistic Masonry to remediate your wet basement. I am so happy I found him on Angie's List.

I emailed Carl about a leak in my basement and to inquire about him filling in a portion of my back patio with concrete. Carl came out to my house on a Saturday morning and thoroughly inspected my basement. Ultimately, he determined that my problem would be better served by a plumber. He also said that he could do my patio concrete but that I could get it done cheaper elsewhere. I really respected and appreciated his honestly and professionalism. If I do have a more advanced masonry need I will absolutely call Carl again.

Carl provided detailed quote and carefully reviewed all work prior to project start. Started project when promised and completed on plan working weekends when weather caused unplanned delays. Provided daily project status. Crew was courteous and professional. Cleaned work area thoroughly when project was completed. Results were outstanding.

The experience was exceptional... Carl is responsive, conscientious, knowledgeable and produced a beautiful finished product. Both him and his team listened to what we wanted and checked in throughout the process to make sure we were happy with the progress.

We hired Carl Yockey to replace and old retaining wall in our front yard with a new brick one. He was prompt with an estimate and kept us informed as to when he could begin the work.
