Hartmann Electrical

We contacted Hartmann Electrical and had Tom, the owner, come out for estimates on things we wanted to have done in our home. He provided us a line item list of costs that was very reasonably priced, so we agreed to his services. Tom sent us Craig and Gary R. to do the work we wanted completed. They ran wire and installed 6 new recessed light fixtures in our Master Bedroom ceiling and added a light switch in the Master Bath entryway, ran wire and installed boxes for the future hanging of ceiling fans/ceiling fixtures in 3 other bedrooms, installed an attic fan in our attic, hung a large ceiling fan in our Family Room, added an additional 2-way light switch in the kitchen and installed a new outdoor outlet on the side of the house. Both, Craig and Gary R. were friendly, courteous and neat. They cleaned up after each part of the job was completed. All of the work was completed in 4 days to our utmost satisfaction. We would HIGHLY recommend Hartmann Electrical and will certainly use them for any future electrical needs.

Hartman electrical responded to an emergency appeal since the stove would not work. They arrived within two hours of our call. They were professional, courteous and competent.

Stephen came by and checked everything I asked. Luckily for me a fuse blew while he was there. the charges for their service was reasonable and Stephen was very efficient. I wuld use them again.

Last week I had Gary show up at my home and this week I had Steven and Mark come. Mark came to help Steven with heavy ladder and for safety reasons with outdoor lighting,then left. Steven did all the electrical work that I have listed.And just like last week job done to perfection. Total of about 3 1/2 hours. Seems to me that Hartmann Electric is very selective on who they hire. I will continue using them.

Gary showed up on time,even calling us before he arrived to say he had one stop before us. When he did arrive he was very professional and courteous. Everything you would expect when you do business with someone. I have made another appointment today for more work this coming week. Also gave me 10% discount for my Angie's List coupon.

Mark and Gary arrived at the time specified on the contract. Very polite, professional and prepared for the job. Routing the wiring was a little more difficult than they figured, but it all worked out in the end due to their hard work and their know how. They cleaned up before they left. Didn't even know they were there. Both of them deserve a pat on the back.

We contacted Hartmann Electric because we found them on Angie's List with an excellent rating. I called them on a Monday afternoon and they scheduled the service for the same week. Tom Hartmann contacted me initially to clarify the request and the made a confirmation call just before the appointment time to let us know when to expect the electrician. Gary came to the house and got right to work. He was courteous and professional. He looked at the two issues row which we called: the attic fan and ceiling fan. We asked if he could also do a light replacement and he fit it in for us.Everything was what we expected. I would not only recommend Hartmann Electric to anyone needing an electrical contractor, but I would not hesitate to contact them in the future.

He was very courteous with talking me through the process of correcting an electrical problem I was having, instead of charging me to come out an assess an issue that he was quite clear I could fix myself. His honesty is a welcomed relief and I am very grateful for his help and professionalism.

Very well. It wasn't a large job. It took a day or two. Everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Everythinging worked fine.

Came out within an hour of calling. Was professional, courteous and worked around an extremely messy house. Would recommend and will use again.

Installed overhead service to garage from house and installed sub panel. Installed fluorescent fixtures and switches, connected motion light, installed gang box and feed from panel box to existing fixture and added duplex receptables. The experience from begin to end was professional and courteous. They answered all our questions and were always available on the phone to any of our inquiries. The staff who installed the unit were pleasant and well informed on the unit. We have used Hartmann for many other services but this was the largest one.

I was having a new dishwasher installed when the installer found a damaged wire which was the power source for the dishwasher. He was unable to complete the installation until I had the electrical problem fixed. My husband passed away 5 months ago and I had no idea who to call since my husband always handled issues like this so I checked Angie's list. Hartmann Electric was the first contractor that I saw in my area and the reviews were wonderful. I called them and explained the problem. They said they could have an electrician to my house the next day. Steve came exactly when he said he would, was very polite and efficient. Got the job done in no time. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely use Hartmann Electric for any future electrical problems.

I called Hartmann Electrical yesterday, they were here today to fix my problem. I had no electricity in my living room, that was fixed within 30 minutes and I also had to have my heat checked in my family room - needed a new thermostat which took Stephen no time at all. I was very happy with the service, Stephen arrived at the time specified, was very personable and courteous, a very good representative of Hartmann Electrical. I will most definitely use them again for any future problems I may have.

I needed a sub-panel installed to complete future projects and Hartmann got the job done. Stephen arrived on time and completed the job with no issues at all.

I have dealt with Hartman Electric in the past. Tom Hartman arrived on time to give me estimate. Electrician showed up on time, was professional and cleaned up after the job was completed.

We called for an estimate to install a heater in our garage. Mr. Hartmann returned our call quickly and came out to visit us the same day. We explained to him what we wanted and he gave us the details on what needed to be done. He told us he would email the estimate to us and within 2 hours after he left we had the estimate. The pricing was fair and within a couple of days he sent 2 very capable and professional workers to do the job. Everything went without a problem and we are very happy with the results. We paid exactly what he quoted us. There were no surprises. We will be calling them again to install some lighting for our kitchen.

I called and set up the appointment and Dan showed up right on time. We explained the problem and he examined our breaker box. He detrmined that at times, I was using the full ampage allowed without the pump being used. He ran a separate breaker for the pump, and also put in a new breaker for my central vac system. I was very pleased with the work done. Everything was explained and discussed. The work proceeded very smoothly. I would highly recommend Hartman Electric for quality work.

I called twice. First time; was told they'd have Tom call me back. No call. I called again on Friday before Thanksgiving; was told Tom would call me back in an hour. Tom called a few hours later but he was trying to talk with me on the phone at the same time that he was conversing with someone on his side. After realizing he wasn't listening to half of what I was saying; he asked if he could call me back on Monday. Still waiting for that call. Must be nice to be so busy...

They were great. We didn't use them but it was only because we didn't go ahead and do the work; it didn't have anything to do with them. The estimate was free. They were personable and he seemed to know his stuff. The estimate was a little high but our expectations of the costs were a little unrealistic. Had we done the work, we would have gone with them.

I wish i remembered the technicians name, but he was awesome. It was raining outside and after installing the outlet on the side of the house he came in to do the kitchen outlet. Without asking, he started to remove his shoes so he wouldn't get the rugs muddy (I told him not to worry since we have a 2 year old and a little mud is the least of my worries). I showed him where I wanted the outlet and he informed me we would have to move the fish tank (36 gallons plus the stand = more than we could have moved if we had tried). He showed me alternative locations for the outlet since we couldn't move the fish tank, but then I remembered that the back of the tank stand has a opening to the wall where he needed access. So he go down and squeezed in and worked in the small space and we now have EXACTLY what we wanted.

Great!!!!!! Very good experience from start to finish!!!! I called and talked to Tom Hartmann. The house that I am working on is right down the street from their shop so he came right over and looked over the job. He gave me an estimate and told me I could stop by the office the next day and pick up the proposal also schedule the job. They came a couple of days later and did a fine job on my electrical service upgrade!!! The two electricians who came and did the work were excellent and they did a great job!!! I will call Hartmann Electrical in the future when I need electrical work done. Thanks!!!

Pleasant electrician, Craig, and the problem was solved as quickly as possible.

He is good. Even when the one guy messed up, he didn't mess up per se, the wire went through an old heat vent and he didn't know it was there. When I had a contractor here taking out a wall, he said he though he took all the wires out of the wall. I said he did. He was cutting the metal from the old heat vent that isn't getting used anymore, the wire was inside that heat vent. There was no way he could tell they were there. He had a man over here within an hour to reroute that electric. The boss himself is very, very nice. I've seen 3 different employees of his and all of them are super nice, do their job and do it well. I can't complain. The price is very, very good. The quality is excellent.
