Hartmann Electrical, just awesome! The guys they sent were Uber professional, awesome and very accommodating. I normally hate writing reviews but these folks did such a great job that I feel I had to take the time to write a few lines. They were on time. They were very willing to tackle on the job. I should mention I called other nearby companies and Hartmann Electrical were the only one willing to install a ceiling fan that high at 30ft. This even after considering doing it myself but at the end of the day, I didn’t want to rent a scaffolding or a lift because it would’ve cost more money to buy equipment than to hire a company. They were even nice enough to dab all the screws for the ceiling fans with loctite per my request (40 blade screws total). Other companies told me they wouldn’t and all they do is just install the fan and nothing else. They were also extremely honest in the charges and very transparent. The guys arrived an hour early before the air lift arrived. Any other company would rolled in the charge into the bill but not these guys. They broke down every charge and I thought that was very professional. Hartman Electrical will certainly be my only go-to guys for all my electric needs if I can’t do it myself. I know Hartmann Electrical will probably read my review and I just want to thank you for providing such great service.

Great - one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor in the area

Do not use them for any maintenance work on your Generac generator! The technician screwed the spark plug too tight and ruined the head part of the engine. I talked to Thomas Hartmann, the business owner about this and he started yelling at me stating it was no fault of his technician and that my generator was just old. First of all the generator is relatively new and he was so unprofessional and rude. How can you treat your customers like that? I now have to get this fixed by someone else and it will cost me around $500 to fix their incompetence.

Stephen arrived promptly and was able to service my standby generator in under an hour. Service cost was as quoted and Stephen even took the time to answer a few questions that I had about the operation. Service was quick, clean, and thorough.

Steve showed up as scheduled, made numerous trips going outlet to outlet and back to the breaker box to locate the problem. He was very courteous and professional.

Excellent, prompt professional service. I will definitely recommend and be using again for any future needs. They were able to accommodate me with a last minute appointment that day when I called after having an electrical outlet shortout and melt. They checked the wiring in the outlet and installed my transfer switch same day. Excellent service!

The representative arrived within the window of time and he was professional and informative. He installed the outlet, checked my wiring and answered other questions within the one hour allotted.

The technician was very professional and friendly. He didn't mind me following him and asking questions. The problem ended up being that I installed a three way switch in a hallway.

The experience was awesome. I wasn't able to be home to see first hand, but my mom and husband was home and they raved about Stephen. How he arrived earlier than expected, he was professional and worked extremely fast and did a great job. Stephen called me at work to let me know he was finished with the first room and was moving on to the next room and wanted to know if I really want the sensor that was set-up to my son's light and explain that that type of sensor is really not needed and could cause a problem in the future. I listened to his advise and removed the senor. Stephen placed a regular light switch in it's place. I was very please when I arrived home to see the worked that was done. I am happy because I have found a new Electric Company to perform all my electrical needs in the future.

Technician showed up on time and was very diligent in his work. He was able to troubleshoot and complete ALL assigned work with no clean up on my part. Excellent electrical contractor! They will be back to complete some additional sconce wiring and a new all home generator in the fall.

Tom was very responsive right away. Returned calls and emails promptly. Great to work with and had a great crew as well. Will definitely be using him again in the future. Has a great reputation and deserves it.

Gary was punctual and respectful. He was very attentive which is hard to find these days. I commend him for providing professional and courteous service.

We have a pool house and the electricity in it suddenly stopped working. The technician located the broken wire in the yard and fixed it (wire ran from house to pool house and location of wire placement was unknown). He was on time with arrival, courteous and thorough.

Scheduling was simple and easy. They were up front and honest with the cost (hourly rate) and made a very accurate estimate on how long it would take to perform the work. The workmen arrived right on schedule as promised. They were polite and professional, taking extra care not to harm the hardwood floor with their ladder. After they finished replacing the light, they cleaned up the area. Overall, very pleased with the job they performed.

Hartmann Electric installed a propane gas generator at my home. They arrived on 09 Dec promptly at the time specified. Two extremely professional men installed the generator and hooked up all the appliances and outlets which included everything downstairs, computer and TV (happy!) and also including the well, septic and sump pump. Tim and Gary R. did the initial installing and they were very professional and polite.After the gas lines had been hooked up by the gas company, Hartmann was back immediately to turn on the generator and make sure everything worked correctly. This time it was Stephen and RJ who were just as professional and polite as Tim and Gary. I would recommend Hartmann Electric for ANY electrical work and will definitely be using them again, I can't say enough good things about this company and it is now the second time I have used their services.

Professional all around from start to finish. Worked quickly and quietly. Cleaned up afterwards. Simple job, but rates were reasonable. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I called the office and Lisa explained that they do small jobs like ours as well as large contracting engagements. She was very helpful and pleasant and scheduled an appointment right away. They also give you a very reasonable estimate of when they will show up -- a two hour window so you don't have to sit around all day waiting. She offered the option of buying the switches myself or having them provide them. The electrician Stephen arrived right on time. I showed him every thing that needed to be done and he got right to work. Of course, I bought the wrong switches but Stephen had some in his van to use. He was very polite and friendly and thoroughly explained everything he was doing. The strip lighting fixture that wasn't working was simply a matter of all of the lights having blown out -- embarrassing for me -- but again Stephen was very polite about telling me this. (Have you ever had a service provider who makes you feel like a complete and total idiot? Not pleasant.) He didn't have enough switches with him so he got on the phone with Lisa and scheduled a follow up which they were very fair about -- they just charged us straight time for the second visit. Again, for the second visit he showed up on time, got right to work and solved everything. He even figured out that the reason the stereo speaker wasn't working is because the wiring is bad. I also got an email from the owner thanking me for calling the office and scheduling a service visit through Lisa. Amazing. Great company, nice people, great service.

Wow, Tom is a real professional. He came to the house and did a walk through with me, gave me all the usual warnings (this is a 1951 mid-century with questionable wiring), sent me a written estimate within a day or two. he encouraged me to scale back the project until he had a chance to get in the walls. He then showed up on the agreed upon date, did the work and left no trace. He will be invited back!

Tom came out and gave an estimate and was flexible when we found more items and did not need a couple of things he expected. Craig, Mark and Gary were all nice, flexible and relatively punctual. Craig was knowledgeable and persistent. They were also concerned that they might wake up my family's babies when they were around during nap time. They cleaned up well. It was an all-around good experience and i would not hesitate to recommend them.
