John was always on time, worked all day, kept the work area well organized and cleaned everything up meticulously. The paint job was so impressive...no drips anywhere which is so hard to accomplish especially when painting spindles on hardwood steps! We were so happy to find him especially because he could paint and paper in one job. This enabled us to avoid hiring multiple people which saved us time and aggravation!

They were terrific. They were very professional and they showed up on time and worked all day. They stayed with the job until it was all done. They had it done when they said they would. They were busy so there was a little bit of lead-time. Their price was fair. I would use them again.

I received estimates from three contractors. John seemed very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I chose Platinum Painting because he just engendered my trust. We scheduled a date; John and his assistant arrived promptly and set right to work. They patched holes, smoothed walls and ceiling and hung wallpaper. With such a bad foundation, I didn't expect perfection, but WOW! The result is beautiful! I have several other projects to be completed, and I'm pretty certain no will be patching and painting in my house but John. I highly recommend his work.

I liked everything. I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled. They responded to my initial phone call within half an hour. We set up a date that was very convenient and fast and they were on time. They called before they came out. They worked all day and cleaned up everything when they left each day. You wouldn't even know there was anyone here. The price was right because I did get other estimates. They were pleasant as well. I'm already lining them up for work in January.

They were very prompt, professional and their work was outstanding. This company did the work quickly and had excellent clean-up. The work was very presentable with an excellent price. I had a contractor who was doing work for me and he ended up wanting to use them for other projects; he was impressed by their service.

It was a very smooth and non-distruptive 3 days of work. They estimated up to 4 days but finished in 3. I added in the painting of powder room cabinet and it was not a problem at all. They cleaned and tidied up at end of every day. I was very impressed at the speed things went and still at the same time the care and talent for the tasks. John even put the wallpaper over the heat vent in the bathroom in such a way that you can see the pattern and still the vent is completely open. It is small things like that which puts this company above any others I have used in the past

I purchased a mural from Anthropologie and the reviews on their website recommended professional installation, so I found Platinum on Angie's list and they were exemplary. Before giving me an estimate, they researched the product I was installing. They are busy, but were able to come on a weekend which was very helpful for me to avoid taking time off work. John did an amazing job and I love the mural. I recommend them without hesitation, they are pleasant, professional, and prompt. I will call them again for painting and/or paper hanging.

Platinum was originally hired by our roofer to repair and paint a ceiling after roof leak. We were pleased with Platinum's professional manner and attention to detail for this small project, that we hired them to paint the ceiling of out entrance vestibule and high ceilinged hallway. Although not in our contract, Platinum took care to tack down some of the peeling wallpaper in our vestibule without additional charge to really make the space look finished. Platinum was again very prompt, neat, and was not at all disruptive to our family. We had been planning on having the entire exterior of our home painted. Platinum's estimate was right in the middle. So, having had such a positive experience with the interior work, they were selected to do the exterior as well. Again, we are pleased with the result.

We found Platinum Paperhanging on Angie's List. We were drawn to the company because they used Green Products and Practices. This was especially important to us since we were/are planning on starting a family. We had a total of 3 painters come out to look at our project. But, after having John Clift, the owner, come out for an estimate and speaking to him on the phone a few times, we knew Platinum was the right match for us. John was very patient with all of our concerns and spent ample time researching products to ensure they met our "non-toxic" criteria. (And this was all prior to any deposits!) Another obstacle we faced was the freshly plastered walls. Not all primers are suitable for plaster, which we did not know, but John knew just what procedures to follow and what products to use. The job was estimated to last 2 weeks, but they were done in less than one. They were on time everyday, which was amazing in itself if you've ever worked with any other contractors! They protected our newly refinished hardwood floors and cleaned up after themselves. The whole team was very kind and professional. Their quality of their work was amazing! Their attention to detail was extraordinary! Because of the age of our home, there was a lot more preparation needed then in a modern home. They took their time caulking and filling any holes and cracks. It was a pleasure to finally meet a contractor who took such pride in his work! They went above and beyond the scope of services that was agreed upon. This was definitely the highlight of our home renovation!

Our experience was great with Platinum Paper. Timely arrival for each job (paper hanging and the painting), very neat and cleaned up after the job was complete.

He did a fabulous job, you cannot see where the repair was done. He was very clean and prompt. The job was done in record time. The company offers free estimates. Insurance was involved due to water damage.
