I phoned and left a message asking them to phone back. They replied within 30 minutes and, once I'd described the fault, asked if I would be in over the next couple of hours. 90 minutes later the man appeared, diagnosed the problem, told me how much the spare part would be and fixed it. He also looked at a smaller, very minor problem and advised me to wait until it got worse before spending money to repair it.

They returned my telephone call in under one hour. They diagnosed the problem with my 20-year old General Electric electric range over the phone I thought it was the thermostat, they said it was the heating element). Said they would get the part and would be able to come that afternoon. They called back within 2 hours to say they would be arriving in one-half hour. The repair (replacement of the lower oven heating element) took about 20 minutes. He cleaned up after the job, replaced the oven door and offered to replace the drawer under the range. (I had removed both the oven door and the drawer prior to their arrival). He was very pleasant and the price they charged was very fair. They do all kitchen appliances and washers and dryers. I will call them before I even consider calling anyone else in the future. They do not accept credit cards.

Contractor was very responsive regarding scheduling a time to come to the house. Contractor arrived on time. Repaired both the washer and dryer very quickly. He charged us a fair price. Both the washer and dryer are working perfectly now.

EXCELLENT! Quick return of phone call, quick appointment, fixed the problem very quickly despite having to take things apart. Only $25 for the service call! Mr. Probst is a gem, in my opinion.

I liked this gentleman very much. I felt he was honest and reliable. He even went as far as to somehow obtain a six month warranty on the part for me. The only problem I had was that I had to wait on the part for several weeks; this was not his fault though. Maytag dragged their feet on this.
