Description of Work: I have used Petro for many years. They supply my oil and furnace maintenance. I purchased a new furnance and air conditioner from them. I have also used them for plumbing services as well. There have been a few incidents of disagreements and they have more than equalized the situation. I called them for what I assumed was an oil smell (or leak), it turned out to be a dead bird. They didn't charge for the visit. I will continue to use them. I haven't compared their costs recently, but assume it is still very similar to others. They are prompt and courteous.

Description of Work: They came to check on our heater which had been functioning erraticily. They were very good in setting up a date and time to check on our heater while it was still under warranty. Unfortunately, this review is second hand base on observations my wife shared with me as she was with the repair person, named Ed, who came to check out the heater. | |Ed was very polite, friendly, engaging, and thorough, both in checking out the heater and the information he provided to my wife. By what my wife shared with me, the gentleman basically gave her a thorough beginner's lesson in the parts and the overall heater works. | |Though he wasn't on time, he did explain it was because he previous job ran over, and I believe he had some difficulty finding our house, which has happened with others in the past.

Description of Work: Petro has supplied our fuel oil and service for many years. The most recent contact was the annual cleaning of the burner. This was covered by our service contract, which costs about $300 annually. The service person always does a thorough job. However, this was not the first year that, after one of us arranged to be out of work for the day, Petro cancelled the appointment at the last minute.

Description of Work: they were to service heater and stick tank to see how much oil was in tank. Only home in morning scheduled morning service. They came at about 3 pm charged for service call and similar charge to stick tank. Worst service I have ever had homeowner 45 years.
