They did a nice job. They were able to complete the job in a day or two.

Serviceman correctly diagnosed the leaky faucet in the kitchen and suggested I contact the manufacturer since it was still under warranty. He gave me an estimated to repair the faucet once I received the part. He also recommended cleaning the drain in the sink. He replaced the handle on the toilet but added another $26 to do that. I later found the same cheap handle at Lowes for less than $5. It took him less than five minutes to replace it. He left me with an estimate of $539 to replace the part in the kitchen faucet once it came in and clean the drain - all labor. I called my handyman and he changed the part in the faucet and cleaned the drain for $70. It's been working fine since.

It turned out very good. They did very good work.

I would not recommend them to a family or friend. I think they were overpriced because I had already had an idea of what an installation of a faucet should be. They were way above that. Had I known it was going to be that much, I anticipated paying some extra but never $181. I already had an idea what the cost should be. I think what they offered to Angie’s List and what was posted was not correct at all. I would never recommend them ever. I spoke to them over the phone and they never once mention that that much additional. The person I spoke over the phone went over so much detail with me and asked me so many questions and I think that’s one of the big things that they should have mentioned. There should be a range of how much it would cost and I think that’s deceptive. Even if they are not going to stick to the Big Deal, they have to advice that there are additional costs and they didn’t do that. The price is always a part of any deal and so that negates whatever service that they provided as far as I’m concerned. They did a couple of things that I didn’t like and so that takes away for whatever job they did.

Central has provided us with two jobs- the first was to replace a water heater that broke. Mark was extremely responsive and came out to see the unit the night of the call. The water heater was replaced the following day. We were so happy with their work that we asked them to come out to replace our HVAC unit in our new home. They gave the most reasonable quote and spent the time to explain the different options. From start to finish everything went smoothly- scheduling, installation and clean up. They are meticulous workers who are professional and clean. Mike and Mark are knowledgeable and dependable. Rita who takes care of the calls and scheduling is also very responsive.

Everything worked out fine in the end, the technician helped overcome a few bumps in the road. A li'l tweaking was necessary and the technician came back very promptly and no other cost were charged! Overall very satisfied.

I ask for the same fellow again when he came, I seem to have a good rapport with him. They were punctual and did the work.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and that guy kind of su**ed, actually. The deal was for two hours of professional plumbing, then all of a sudden it turned into something else. I really did not like the guy at all. He should have been able to do what he did do in two hours. He could not clear a line so it turned into a lot more work and a lot more money. It was my first time with this company. He showed up when he said he would show up. He really irritated me.

Guys were quick and courteous and disposed of old heater.

The problem with his work was as he was leaving I went over to the sink and tried to turn on the hot water valve and it was not secure. I called his attention to it and he said it was the best he could do. I called the company and they said they would have someone call me back and it ended up being the plumber who was out the first time.I also showed him three other things in my basement that I needed work on. When he wrote out the bill he charged me for the estimate and purposefully waited to write the bill until after the estimate. He tried to charge me an additional 185$ for an estimate.

I wasn’t too happy that when the repair man came to clean out the drains, he broke the drain in the kitchen and he had to send someone else to repair it because he couldn’t do it himself. A plumber came out and they charged me for that and it was over $300. We do have older pipes, but when my husband looked at our pipes prior to them coming out they didn’t look weak. The repair man said the pipes were weak and it just broke; there was nothing he could do. The plumber who fixed the pipe came quickly which was good because we didn’t have running water in the kitchen The workers overall were fine, but having to pay for the plumber costs was unreasonable. I spoke to the owner regarding these concerns and he said it was our responsibly. We were not informed beforehand that if anything broke on their watch would be our responsibility. It ended up costing us double than we expected.

The purchase worked out okay. There were a few unexpected issues, so I wasn't displeased enough that they warrant a negative review, but it wasn't exceptional service.

They completed both installs and still had time to check my dishwasher. I was pleased that everything was done within the advertised price of $99.

The technician was friendly, answered all of my questions, did great work and was very clean.

The plumber sent out was mark. He arrived at 8:30 am. He was courteous and on time. I had purchased a deal for $49 for $149 worth of plumbing services. Mark gave me an estimate of $400 to replace 3 stems. He told me it was $400 bc the job could take an hour or even upto 6 since he didn't know what type of stem was inside each piece of hardware and he might have to drive around to multiple plumbing supply shops to find the exact type of stem. He also stressed that for this price he was going to replace all 3 stems since you never know when the ones that were ok would break since they all seem to have a limited life span. I still thought it was expensive but agreed to it bc I just wanted it done at that point. Mark left my house to get the supplies and then came back to complete the job. After coming back from the supply store he probably spent 15 mins max installing the stems. He showed me that the shower was no longer dripping and I signed off on the job and he left. About an hour later I went to caulk around the fixtures. ( you need to break the caulk seal in order to take the fixtures off so you can access the stems...you can look it up on YouTube). I noticed that one of the fixtures never had its caulk seal broken which means that it would have been impossible for Mark to have replaced that stem. I called an asked to speak with a manager. Rita told me that a manager would call me back. When I asked when approximately I would get my call back, she told me she couldn't say. When pressed her whether it would be that day, the next day, or even the following week she still couldn't assure me that I would get a call back within that period of time. I called back the next week and Rita told me that Mark said he installed all 3 stems. When I explained to her that he couldn't have since the seal was never broken, she told me she would have to get back to me and that Mark was gonna be on vacation for a week. Meanwhile I had told Rita I was putting a hold on my check. I continued calling until a manager Mike finally got back to me the week before Christmas. When I explained the situation to him he agreed that he didn't think it was feasible that all three stems were replaced since the caulk was not broken. He told me he still needed to talk to mark but he would call me back by the end of the day. Mike never called me back. The next week after leaving Mike a message he finally called me back. He told me they could credit my account $30 or $35 for the cost of the 1 stem that wasn't replaced. I told him that I would pay him for 2/3 of the final cost since only 2 of the 3 stems were installed. He argued that he couldn't do that bc it would not have taken that long for mark to put the other stem in. When I told him to have him cons back and put the 3rd stem in he said I would have been charged for a service call. Mike said he was going to send me a check for $35. When I told him I had put my last check on hold he got very loud and indignate about him expecting to receive the check in 3 days or I was gonna get hit with late charges, etc. this from the company who it took a minimum of 10-15 phone calls before there was some resolution to my issue. And in the end all I really saved was $25 since I was charged $10 from my bank for putting a hold on the check. So in a nutshell, they were expensive, didn't perform the work as described, were dishonest, and not responsive to my legitimate gripe about the services performed. And lastly didn't give me any worthwhile credit for the missing work performed and the hassle of the situation

I asked for a refund after talking to Angies list and then calling the plumbing company, they were barely remorseful and if I had to judge the customer service based on that call I would not be able to recommend them to anyone.

A toilet repair, very satisfactory, and advised me about not actually needing a garbage disposal replacement which I appreciated.

Mechanic arrived in a timely manner and performed all tasks professionally and proficiently. I would defiantly us this vendor again.

The technicians were punctual and very professional. The installation went smoothly and in a timely manner.

I could see that he was experienced and know what he was doing.

Purchased 2 hours of plumbing service to address leak in second floor bathroom. They rushed out before two hours were up, stating that plumbing was fine and referred us to a someone to re-tile the whole shower. I wound up calling Bathfitters and learned that the plumbing was not fine. Although the tile needed to be repaired, the main problem was the shower mechanism in the tub faucet pushing water back behind the tiles. If they had replaced the faucet, I could have repaired the tile myself and saved thousands of dollars.

They came out last May of 2012 and the service went well. We got the choice of toilet that we wanted and they removed the toilet. They were polite and cleaned up any messes. The guy that came out was very competent and really know what he was doing. The toilet that we got was flawless.

It turned out very well. There were additional charges because it was for two or three hours of plumbing work and he needs to do an extra hour in addition so I paid them that. I had no issues with them. The work was done actually very well. I would certainly recommend them and I would use them again. I thought the guy that came out was terrific.

The big deal was to be worth $149. I needed a laundry room faucet replaced with a new one I had purchased. I would have tried it myself but I didn't want to disconnect the hoses and drain. This was not a difficult job. Certainly less than 1 hour of labor. Scheduling was easy and the plumber was punctual and courteous. He quoted me a price of $363 minus the deal of $149, leaving a balance due of $214. To me, this is outrageous. I remember seeing another big deal for $75 or so for faucet replacement not long after I purchased mine. So I thought I did well. I really didn't. So much for my firs Big Deal. Makes me skeptical of purchasing any others.

Also, I had to call him back because the faucet was not put back flush again the shower wall - it was sticking out quite a bit.(He did come back and made it slightly better.)
