Description of Work: Service technician came to house to replace outdoor faucet. Upon inspection, he noted that our faucet could not be replaced with the new faucet included in the deal. Our current faucet is of a higher quality and replacement calls for higher costs & effort. Service was not performed. Service provider was honest and upfront.

Description of Work: Purchased coupon for outdoor faucet replacement for 49$. No issues. Asked while here if he could do another outdoor faucet. Price $140. Now I didn't have to do it but he was here so I went with it. Asked for opinion on drain in kitchen sink and quoted 380$. I did next day for 30$ in supplies and some Advil.

Description of Work: I don't remember the details of this service as it occurred a year ago. According to my records I attempted to review this company months ago,but was unable to find it on the List, at that time. I know that I paid 75 dollars for the coupon and 29 dollars on top for the visit. If this is the company I am thinking of, I was not impressed with the service. I do not want to report inaccurate information, so cannot complete this report any further. I marked all of the ratings as C, which may not be accurate, but was unable to submit this review until all fields were complete.

Description of Work: We had a toilet replaced through an Angie's List deal. Everything went smoothly. We ordered the toilet by email giving the size. They contacted us for a time to install and arrived promptly. The person installing the toilet was friendly and courteous.

Description of Work: Inspect faucet leak underneath the kitchen sink. The plumbers came to my house next morning diagnosted the problem as a defective sync faucet, the faucet needed to be replaced, they gave us an estimate After we bought a new delta faucet the same day they returned and replacec it. at the same price estimate. the workers were very professional, reasonable pricie, and good work. Recomend to any one who needs a good plumber.

Description of Work: Replaced an outdoor frost free pipe/faucet. I supplied all the hardware for replacement and dug out the existing pipe/faucet. They connected new hardware. Requested a bid on another project, but they came in very high on bid. So will not be using for this new project.

Description of Work: Central did a great job removing an old oil boiler and replacing it with an electric hot water heater. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone. The whole process from start to Finnish was smooth and better then I expected. The installers and Rita in the office were all great to work with!

Description of Work: We bought the "big deal" to have a CO monitor installed. A great idea--especially since we have had a CO emergency in our home in the past, from smoldering wires under the sidewalk outside our house... The company was very organized about setting up the appointment, which I appreciated. The service person then came (while a babysitter was home--I wasn't there). He forgot to install the CO monitor... Though that was surprising and disappointing, the company immediately rescheduled another service call in order to solve the problem. In the end, we were satisfied with the customer service.

Description of Work: Central just replaced my oil fired burner and my electric water heater with gas versions. They did a great job and it was very affordable.

Description of Work: Was supposed to be a furnace checkup, but turned into a sales call for a new furnace, e.g. 'Your filter is shot" Response"Okay what size is it so I can get one" Serviceman "Don't bother-YOU GET ONE WITH A NEW FURNACE" or e.g. Me "Can you take off the thermostat for me?" Serviceman "It seems to be stuck (it wasn't), and it still works so don't bother and anyway YOU GET ONE WITH A NEW FURNACE", or e.g. Serviceman " I just called our estimator and he happens to be in the area. Do you want him to come by a give you an estimate FOR A NEW FURNACE?" The next day they emailed me a $2600 estimate FOR A NEW FURNACE. And for some strange reason the furnace that never failed to come on in 8 years wouldn't come on again after the serviceman left. And by the way two days later I had a new furnace installed with new duct work for $1900.

Description of Work: The service was for one hour of service with 2 guys or 2 hours with one. The plumbers arrived on time. Each one worked on different things. They were very honest and saved me money by not replacing valves that I thought was not working properly. It turned out that the hoses attached to them were the problem. The main reason for having them out was to replace a kitchen fixture that we already purchased. This job was completed quickly. All work areas were cleaned up as needed.

Description of Work: The service man was professional and thorough. there was an extra $40 charge for a boiler-type system that I have but they informed me of that at the time I made the appointment. The service man made some adjustments to the system, and checked its efficiency. He advised me of ways to improve its function giving me detailed instructions.

Description of Work: the two plumbers evaluated a leak coming from my bathtub. this had been looked at by another plumber with no success. They discovered a copper pipe from my kitchen area that was the origin of this problem. They replaced a gasket in the bathtub area, and the copper pipe. they also looked at some plumbing in the basement that would require a repair. They gave an estimate of that job. They were helpful and professional.

Description of Work: works arrived on time, did only what needed to be done without trying to sell me something else. pleasant and made me feel they could be trusted will use again when needed.
