Description of Work: I purchased a "deal" for an hours worth of plumbing services to install a new ice maker valve and when the plumber arrived to do the work I was told it would be an additional $194.00 to do the work (even though it would only take him about an hour to do the job.) As a result I did NOT have the work done since I found it to be misleading in the part of Central Plumbing.

Description of Work: I purchase a coupon to have my faucet replaced. Originally, I believe, the appointment was at 10AM, but when I called to confirm, was told between 8 and 9:30, which was fine, except Ryan got stuck in traffic, was courteous enough to call, and got there at 10 after all. Additionally, when I had called to confirm the appointment I asked if the plumber could also bring a "snake" because I had a clogged bathroom sink and was told, "We send out a special plumber to fix drains." I asked the cost of sending a "Special Plumber" and was told $179, which I thought absurd, so said forget the drain cleaning. On examining my sink, Ryan said that because the faucet connectors had been welded there would be an extra charge to remove the old faucet. I asked how much and he said he wasn't sure, but probably around $150. Since my initial opinion of the charge for the drain cleaning was that this company's charges are way over, when I heard that it would cost an additional $150 to fulfill the promise of the coupon I already paid $199 for, I asked him to leave.
