Central Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

We took advantage of a coupon from Angie's List for plumbing services but then when we had a problem with the air condition one day we decided to call them back to take a look at the problem. Overall it has been a positive experience. I cannot really speak to how competitive their price is because we did not shop around.

--> First of all, please note this is a correction of a negative review I posted on July 26 which was intended for Lowry Electric (I have asked Angie's List to delete that review I incorrectly posted for Central Plumbing). <-- Now for the correct review:I had purchased the Angie's $99 for 2 hours worth of work provided by Central Plumbing. They had to repair/replace plumbing related to a tub drain overflow valve that my daughter managed to kick and break off. The only way to do this was to access and work on it from the ceiling below and the work space was tight because the side of the tub where the overflow drain is located was placed next to a shower stall. They did a GREAT JOB on the repair (2 other plumbing companies were hesitant about doing the work) and finished the work in just about 2 hours to keep me within the deal's requirements.They are AAA+ and I would not hesitate working with them or referring them to other customers.

I purchased the Angie's list deal of the day. Paid Angie list, rec'd coupon and scheduled appt. Very easy company to deal with. Employees were efficient, knowledgable and helpful.

Good experience. Only problem was with installing new shower faucet, which inside itself was assembled backward, not allowing water flow. Plumber was able to contact a very experiened associate who gave suggestion on how to solve problem.

Their office person worked w/ us on setting a date & time for installation.They called to confirm date & time the day before installation.We were extremely pleased w/ the work from start to finish & highly recommend them.

Scheduling was friendly although the appointment got messed up a bit. But that got straightened out and service was solid. However, I did not get a follow-up as promised (the technician was to check on something regarding my HVAC unit and get back to me but never did). I'm on the fence with them but I'll probably give them another try.

It took me 3 weeks to get an appointment. Mark who did the work (and Jay who seemed to be an apprentice) arrived 40 minutes before time, luckily I had reached home from work before they did. They immediately set to work and finished it in about 2 hours and then cleaned up and left. The new faucets work fine and hopefully wont spring a leak for a long time.

He did a good job. He is very confident with his work. I would recommend him to anyone.

They were on time. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Worked clean and cleaned up when done. Went over each repair when finished to make sure I was happy with results and ONLY THEN did they write up the bill.

I have no complaints. They came pretty quickly, the guy did a good job and everything went just fine.

After we complained that the color of the newly purchased and installed toilet bowl (white) did not match the tank which was bone (we had requested and agreed to pay $60.00 extra to get the bone colored Gerber Viper toilet). Mike, the owner of Central Plumbing came a week after and offered to replace the whole toilet seat. He was very apologetic and friendly. On 7/3/2012, his plumber came and replaced the toilet set they placed in June 12 with the requested bone colored toilet bowl and tank. We are extremely awed because Mike offered to return the money we paid Angie's list. However we declined and gave his workers the $60.00 additional charge for the color change. His workers were very professional and accommodating. They even took the old toilet bowl and tank set away for disposition..

I had a great experience with this company. I was very impressed after purchasing the deal because they were the first ones to make contact with me (not the other way around). Great customer service in that respect.The only snafu involved them having to come back the next day to remove the old water heater because they didn't have a pump with them the day before. If you don' t have a sump pump, ask them to bring a pump so that you can get the work done in one day.

Went very well overall, installation was quick, the one fix that was needed was priced reasonably.

It was a big Deal for $75 and I paid an additional $135. They were very personable. They were good and they knew what they were doing. What they did was exactly what I wanted. They did the job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was fair. They were very responsive, punctual and very professional. I am going to use them again.

They are very nice people. They did a good job. He was neat, courteous, and knew what he was doing. I was impressed. He even followed up with me, good businessman. I would highly recommend them.

A great deal and a great experience with the company. Same day I purchased the deal, they called me to set up the appointment. They came out on time, worked quickly and cleanly and even helped me out with a snag. The experience went so well I had them out for estimates on other projects which they again set up quickly and came out on time again. Communication with this company is absolutely A+..... I cannot speak highly enough about them !! Definitely a company I would recommend.

The plumber was punctual, polite, professional and organized. He respected the property; that is, he was careful to wear shoe covers.

I bought the $75.00 deal. They replaced the shut-off valve.

The workers arrived on time and both of them were pleasant and professional. Both Mike Gable and his assistant were pleasant and got right to work assessing the problem and then getting the work done. The toilet needed a new flange and wax seal, they got the job done within an hour which saved me money. The price was reasonable especially with the 20% Angies list discount which they provided. I will definitely use this company again when the need arrises.

I purchased the Angie's List deal for $150 worth of plumbing for $75. I called the company and they were actually available that day, however I needed an appointment for the next week, which they made. I asked for their price for the job and they gave me an estimate over the phone. The day of the repair they needed to change the time and called to do so. The repairman came in a timely manner and was pleasant, professional and stuck to the quoted price. I would use this company again.

The job went smoothly - I've used CMC before and knew them to be prompt, professional, courteous and armed with a great sense of humor. I know CMC to provide quality of work and product. Mike Gable told me in advance the job was a one day possibly 10 hour job. Day of the job and on time the worker-guys called to let me know they were on their way over. Two of CMC's best (one was an apprentice) handled the job from beginning to end. Once the job was done, they made sure the heat was on, air was out of the lines and the hot water got to all the rooms through the radiators without any leaks. They also checked the system one more time turning it on and off through a full second run. They also reviewed for me the various parts of the new heater from beginning to end and the new sounds I should hear and what sounds would be a problem that needs attention. Now that's personal, caring, professional service! The two-men team cleaned everything - and I mean everything - during and after the removal and installation - cleaner than what it was before the started the job! Mike stopped by twice just to check on his men and the quality of the job. We had a few good laughs throughout the day. And the job was completed in about 8-1/2 hours.

The project estimate was given and work began shortly after. Men did not work everyday. Some days were days waiting for materials and other times for dry wall spackle to dry and grout after tile was added. The project is near completion with the exception of a soap dish and a final look for leaks. To this point the project looks terrific, gives an old bathroom a more modern look.
