I found another company to finish the job at a more reasonable rate. They were very competent and knew what they were doing but I had a budget that I needed to stay within.

We bought the initial offer of $99 on Angie's list because of the company's great rating. They contacted us to follow-up, and we decided to go ahead with the job a few months later. The price quoted by the office was fair and remained the same, we were also given the name of who would perform the repair. The two men team was punctual, courteous and fast. I will definitely recommend them and will use them again.

The crew came in, took a look at what they were dealing with, spent an hour in my crawlspace and were gone. They cleaned up after themselves, were professional and courteous, and above all, fixed my problem.

I had trouble scheduling. When we had an appointment cancelled they called to cancel the appointment due to the hurricane, which I appreciated. I needed to purchase a thermostat and have it affixed to the wall and I would have purchased the thermostat from the provider. He came back with a price of more than $200 to attach a thermostat to the wall and a little over $200 for the actual materials. The price list was so bad I called the company to speak with him. He proceeded to yell at me and told me I have unrealistic expectations and mentioned that other contractors have "walked out on me before" because of that. He said he would need to rewire the whole thing and it would take a long time. I went home and the wiring is fully intact. While he was in my home, I was on the phone with him. I heard a loud noise and asked him what it was. He said he was naturally very heavy footed. He was going through a list of things that needed to be done and mentioned the cellar step needed to be fixed. When I got home I discovered that he broke my cellar step. It is crushed down the middle. I want them to pay for my step to be replaced at least. I have photos that indicate the wiring for the thermostat is still intact.

The mechanics arrived on time as promised, they spread drop clothes as promised and proceeded to remove the old unit. The new unit was installed , the job was neat and well done. I was told it was a one day job which in fact was true. They went out of their way to clean up after themselves and remove all the old material. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Got an Angie's List deal 2 hours of plumbing services for $99. The company called me to set up an appt. right after I bought the service. They showed up on time, took care of our problems and even had time to fix a couple more within the 2 hour timeline (fixed dripping outside spigot, replaced a dripping valve in the basement and cleared out a clogged drain in a bathroom). They offered great advice and were very knowledgeable. They will definitely be our "go to" plumber for future problems!

Overall, I am pleased with the job done.

I bought the Angie's deal on line to get $150 plumbing labor for $75. I called Central Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning to discuss my plans to remodel my second floor hall bath. I was doing most of the work myself but needed the plumbing rough in work done by a professional. The guy I spoke with about my plans appeared very interested and helpful in talking through some of the steps involved in the remodel, offering suggestions and recommendations. Although I knew I was doing most of the work myself, I appreciated his interest and suggestions. I got the work scheduled within a week or so and the two guys showed up on time. They were very professional, knew exactly what they were hired for and performed the work within the two hours they said it would take. Both the A/C and the plumbing guys were polite and respectful of my home; they kept the work area clean and didn't mind me looking over their shoulder. They both offered recommendations for additional work, which I expected, but were not overbearing about it. They wrote up a bill, credited me for the Angie's deal and asked me if I was satisfied with their work.

I had them come out and service my heater after such great service! I am very pleased. They even sent a personal thank you card !

I could not have asked for a better experience or a better price! Mike called me right away when I asked about a deal they had listed through Angie's List. That deal wasn't one I could use (was for forced air, not radiator heating), but he told me about another two deals that were coming the following week that fit my needs. I ended up getting the heater and hot water heater for roughly half of what I'd been quoted by other contractors for the same quality equipment and superb service. Mike answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. As a woman who owns a house by myself, I often run into contractors who think I'm incompetent or just "won't understand." That was NOT the case with Mike, and I greatly appreciated his professional and kind business approach. I had the estimate done on a Sunday and by Tuesday morning, Mike and two HVAC were guys at my house right at 8am as promised and worked the ENTIRE day to ensure I would not have to go a night without heat or hot water. They worked non-stop from 8am until after 7pm that evening, barely stopping to have lunch. I've renovated my house from top to bottom and have dealt with numerous contractors. I can't begin to tell you how rare that kind of work ethic is in the contracting world. They did an EXCELLENT job and left zero mess behind. They even covered my hardwood floors so as not to scratch them or make them dirty. My new heater works amazingly well, and I've been able to turn the thermostat down lower than ever before and still have the same comfort level in the house. I am having more work done with them in mid-December to fix plumbing that was installed incorrectly by another contractor so that tells you a lot. I'd recommend this company in a heartbeat!

Overall, I got what I needed. I believe (I'm not sure) that ) that stains were removed around the faucets and drain which I could not remove because the hardware looked a little brighter.

Good experience. The technician couldnt locate the public shut off as it was unmarked. Fortunately, the water authority was able to come by within 15 minutes so the technician waited. Once the shut off was marked the technician made the repair. I would use them again.

Mike was very professional and very good at the way he handled himself. I was very happy with the overall situation, I'd give him a triple A! I asked if he would mind if I watched and he was more than happy for me to do so. I'm a real estate agent and I've seen a lot of companies in my time, he really impressed me.

Everything went terrific. They did a good job and everything is fine. He cleaned up after himself. They were here on time.

Good communication after I bought 2 coupons for different jobs - I had to delay the appointment because of my own schedule, but they had lots of availability (which kind of made me nervous - too available might indicate poor service/ not enough customers..?) Rita both called and emailed and we set up a date. Unfortunately my housemate wasn't able to be there during the window of time given: 8-9 am and I had to be at work at 8:30 though I work right around the corner from my house. So I awaited the call letting me know they were on their way (what all other service providers have done, though not something promised in this case). I didn't get a call until I called them at 9:00 asking whether they were coming, and they called back to let me know they were there and waiting for someone to open the door! I raced home to let them in but felt rushed because i had to rush back to work. That was the only real negative to the whole experience. Anyway they did a good job with installing the new and removing the old hot water heater and I'm sure would have done good with the rest of the plumbing but I just couldn't afford the additional cost beyond the coupon for other plumbing work So when I have more $$ I'll let them finish the job.

They did what they said they would do and determined where my leaks were. With the extra time left over, they checked other things around the house for me as well!

The contractor was a little bit late because he couldn't find my house, but as soon as he got there he got right to work. He replaced the drains that were broken and the pipes that were leaking all in under an hour. He was professional and didn't overcharge.

Great experience and will use they again.

They arrived on the scheduled day on time, unfortunately when they opened the packaging they discovered the new heater was damaged. I thought that this would really complicate matters but they got on the phone and within an hour they had packed up the damaged heater and picked up a replacement. The install went smoothly, they cleaned up everything as they went and I am very happy with both their service and the deal.

Mark came and installed the faucet quickly and competently.

Very good. The tech was on schedule, courteous, and very informative. There was no attempt to encourage me to get other services. I was also given a written documentation of the outcome of the readings on my furnace, and given a comfort level on the condition of the furnace.
