I had purchased a Big Deal ($49 for $149) & needed to get a faucet and showerhead replaced. The appointment was set for 2pm but didn't show up till 3pm. The provider looked at the scope of work and provided an estimate to which the "big deal" would be applied. In my opinion, the cost was very high to get both the faucet and showerhead replaced (approx $700) & I ended up getting only the showerhead replaced since I wanted to use the big deal coupon. I am satisfied with the work that was done but was surprised with the pricing for faucet replacement.

He replaced a toilet supply line.

They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They were on time. They were very good and nice too. I even used them a second time.

Vendor was very responsive and anxious to fulfill their offer. My mistake was that the "deal" was for a 40 gallon water heater and when the tech arrived he found that the unit being replaced was 80 gallons. The cost went up substantially for the larger unit, but the work was completed by the date promised.

I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. It was very good. They are excellent. The big deal was for $99. They charged me about $40 more because I had to have a toilet reset, and they needed to replace the flange and some parts in it. It was non-labor stuff; it was minimal.

The installer was very professional. neat, and the installation was perfect. Problem is, the toilet is in a guest bath and it wasn't until many months later that it was brought to my attention that the ceramic glaze at the bottom of the unit had a bumpy finish that is likely to accumulate debris and projects a grey shadow which appears as soil. Sounded like a bargain at the time, but if the unit isn't any better than what it replaced, then what was that all about?

They were very professional and courteous. The work was performed quickly and and they did a good job. They even showed me how to fix a slow drain, and how to bleed the radiators myself!

Deals good but everyday prices to much! I put a Yes to using them again only if it was with a coupon or Emergency.

Done on schedule, in very tight quarters. Disposed of old WC, left the area neat and clean, no extra costs, no muss, no fuss, very professional. Would call on Central again in a New York minute.

This company is great on service delivery once they get here. Mark and his helper are very professional, friendly, competent, and explain the issues clearly. They work very hard and in this case had quite a job to do to get the manifold back onto the pipes coming out of our slab for our radiant heating system. But they did a terrific job and found and isolated the problem, leaving our radiant heating system intact, minus one loop, which was by far the least expensive repair that could have been made. And the most agreeable in terms of the quality of heat in the house. Unfortunately, these plumbers are not backed up by an efficient office system. Calling in is never a direct call. Emailing is difficult, as a quote was sent to me using a bizarre email address and subject line. Replying to that went nowhere. Getting calls back from them is difficult, and usually required several calls on my part. Mike, who appears to be the boss, may or may not get back to you. We were so happy with Mark and the plumbing done that we asked them to help us install a water neutralization system. Our water also had an off taste and was forming a film on our pet's water dishes. I explained all of this. They took a water sample, saying they would test for "everything." Turns out "everything" did not include many of the items I wanted to rule out, so I got the water tested by an independent lab, which also looked at the pH. Then Central gave us a quote for water neutralization and softening. The cost was relatively high, and the chemist at the independent lab agreed with me that we only needed neutralizing, not softening. I called Central's office and ran into the same issues--calls were not returned; when they were, the information was inconclusive and unsatisfactory. I asked for a new quote just for acid neutralization. It was never sent. Based on this difficulty getting quotes for what I requested, I chose to work with a different plumber to get the acid neutralization done. If they had a more responsive office situation/staff, I would definitely have used them for the acid neutralization, but now am hesitant to call them for future jobs.

Central Plumbing and Heating did a phenomenal job! They came out to the house the day I called and repaired all of the problems I identified in one visit. Most of the parts they needed were on the truck. When they had to get a part from a supply house they were able to find it locally and it took less than an hour for them return, part in hand, to finish repairs. I was impressed that they were able to resolve my problems so quickly and so professionally. They are experts at what they do and they provide excellent customer service. I would definitely use them again.

Yes, they had vipe wood. They had the thing to run special. So, I jumped on it and came and did a great job, came in a couple of hours, but the two of them, no problem. They did the work last summer. Yeah, I can say that, maybe not that long, but, still I had that for a year.I would give them an A, no problem. They came in, were very clean and polite, did the job that they needed to do. It was a great price. For responsiveness, I would could have be, I think had a follow-up with them just because I got pounds of unnecessary calls but I did had to call them. For punctuality, they came right on time. For professionalism, they were great.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. Everything was great. They showed up the day they planned it and got it all done in about an-hour-and-a-half. The work they did was good and everything is in good working order. The disposal itself was about $150. They came out later the same week that I purchased the Big Deal. It is an emergency service when it is not through the Big Deal so I don't know how their pricing is, comparatively, in terms of immediate response.

The Plumber Was Pleasant And Friendly. He Fixed A Leaky Tub Drain, A Running Toilet And Checked Out A Poor Working Diverter. While He Couldn't Fix It He Gave Me Suggestions On How To Buy My Own Parts. I Would Call Them Again.

Ryan came out just an hour after I called and removed the old vanity. I finished what I needed done and set them up to come out the followoing Monday to install the new vanity. He was out at 9 am on Monday morning to install the new vanity. He did a wonderful job.

The faucets to the shower would not not turn off completely and caused the shower head to drip non-stop. The plumber was able to stop the drip, however he also claimed we needed to replace the shower head. I was greatly disappointed that 1) he did not leave the original stainless steel handheld fixture and 2) that he charged us $49 for a cheap plastic replacement. Also, the kitchen faucet was loose and kept moving from side to side. When the plumber left nothing moved without force. Today, we still have a loose faucet in the kitchen and it seems like a matter of time before the bathroom fixtures will not turn off properly. My husband forked over a total of $249 and we will still have to contact another plumber -- soon!

Plumber and helper arrived timely. They were pleasant and professional. They quickly completed the repair. They protected the floor with a drop cloth and cleaned the work area upon completion.

The technician was on time and performed the service professionally and quickly. It's been almost a year and the garbage disposal works great.

Bill came out and did a thorough job. He took time out to measure the 2nd bath for some renovation we were mulling on doing and provided a rough estimate.

The provider did not arrive in the time frame given. He was 2 hours late. He did quickly fix the leak under my kitchen sink which only required tightening a pipe. He then fixed a leak in one of the pipes in my laundry room in the basement. He then looked at the shower faucet and diverter. He told might or might not need a part and he would go to Home Depot to look for it. They didn't have part and that wasted over an hour of the time I paid for with the voucher. He told me that I needed a whole new faucet with diverter. It would cost $700. I decided not to get it. I was not happy with the waste of time going to Home Depot. l

It went really well. The technician paid attention to detail and did a great job.

He showed up on time and ran into an unexpected broken waste pipe. It took a bit longer to complete, but in the end everything was working perfectly.

The people from Central arrived in the time window that they said they would. They were able to replace the faucet and the garbage disposal without any issues. At the same time we also had A/C issues and they took a look at that. We were told that the blower motor went out and they had someone get the part and install it. It worked okay and then we had to have them come out a week later since it was still not working. It turns out that the system was very low on Freon. The repairman came out on the Saturday of labor day and had to spend 5 hours for the system to thaw and put Freon in. In hindsight wish that they could have resolved that on the first go around. All and all they did a very good job and would not hesitate to bring them back for other plumbing or a/c issues.

Came on time.. Both men were you super nice and professional . Would surely hire them again
