We inherited some ancient downspouts and gutters from the previous owners of 50+ years. They looked filthy making the whole house look shabby, and even worse, function-wise they were only useful as plant containers by then -- yes, they were stuffed with nature-made potting mix (if you see what I'm talking about) and some plants were growing gloriously there when we purchased the house. Seriously, it did some minimum job once they were cleaned, but their configuration was wrong at some points, and clearly many years of negligence had done enough damage to them. Plus, they were at the end of their lives anyway -- we saw rain water dripping from those gutters here and there. So we figured it was about time for them to go. Also, our portico roof did not have any gutter and the portico was drenched when it rained, so we wanted to add gutters there as well. As we always do, we obtained multiple quotes from different contractors for this job, but our decision to go with Ivan Kashin was an extremely easy one. One contractor was a no-show for the scheduled estimate. Another contractor sent a guy who apparently knew nothing but how to use a measure -- he had no clue about the job (so all he did was just to measure, no question taken -- I guess even we could do that!), then sent us a high quote some days later. The other contractor offered us a reasonable quote, but in the end, we asked Ivan to do the job. There were a couple of reasons. First, Ivan was very polite and responsive to our request and questions and surely kept the promised schedule. He was prompt to come by to provide us an estimate (he stopped by after the end of his long work day). And he took the time looking closely at the site and made some great suggestions accordingly. For example, we had been thinking of having two separate downspouts installed for the first and second stories' roof areas. It would look weird, but we thought it would be necessary to accommodate the amount of rain water coming down. Ivan suggested a slightly larger size of a single downspout could handle the issue perfectly, and that would be aesthetically better and less expensive. We thought his proposal made best sense. And finally, his quote came the lowest among the contractors we contacted. He arrived in the morning and immediately started working. After removed all the old gutters and downspouts, he used a machine to fabricate seamless gutters that fit our roofs and installed them. We had put plastic gutter extensions on the old downspouts, and he, without being asked, firmly attached them with screws to the new downspouts so they wouldn't come off. At the end of the day, our house got new gutters and downspouts, and the result is beautiful and functional. Some people may feel fundamentals such as gutters and downspouts belong to and quot;unsexyand quot; upgrades. We would say that is wrong, after seeing how Ivan's new gutters and downspouts have made our house look much better and cleaner. More importantly, watching the new gutters and downspouts vigorously in action in heavy rains reminds us how important it is for homeowners to have them correctly installed and thereby protect their houses from water. We are very happy with the job Ivan did for us, and will definitely call him again if we need gutter work in the future.

I met with and recieved three quotes for this job. I usually go with the middle quote, but from this experience, Seamless Gutters came in at the lowest extimate by (I believe) $200. Their professionalism was top notch. They were very punctual. Very considerate. This job went without any issues. All work was done within specified timeframe. It's now ~4 years later and the work is still good. I've had no gutter issues. The only negative (which I'm not sure it is, or maybe I should have said something) But the cutters on the 2nd floor roofing cut off and don't go directly into the water catching gutters. I was told that this could create more wear and tear on my roof? Again, not sure as I've had no issues. But the work itself is stable and strong and does the job.

Excellent job, and excellent owner. Responded to our request for quote promptly. Did a thorough assessment and provided a very competitive quote. Scheduled the job based on our timeline. Was delayed due to a heavy snow storm and snow on the roof, but Ivan called and explained the situation professionally, and as soon as the snow was gone he was out to do the job. Ivan worked into the dark to complete the job in one day. Result was a very clean installation, and all work areas were left completely clean and neat. I'm very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend Ivan for your gutter replacement job.

This is our third experience with this firm and we are still very happy. The work was performed quickly and efficiently. The communication was good. It is everything you want out of your gutter cleaner - fast appointment scheduling, great communication, very good work, and a reasonable price.

Following is what I wrote to the provider. I am dissatisfied with the cost and the estimate. The estimate was not provided in written form. It did not spell out if the total cost included gutters, drains or pieces that needed replacement. Your verbal and showing me a piece of paper is not an adequate estimate for a job that is so expensive. In fact, I believe the big deal was misleading. It led me to believe the cleaning of gutters was the deal and the estimate would have been for the gutter guards. For $1900--extremely high, without an adequately listing specifics is unacceptable for various contracting reasons. Sorry, because I am going to get the guards but will seek out another provider. This is our second experience with Ivan, the owner. He arrived on time and is very professional, polite and friendly. Spent approximately 4 hours inspecting our roof and then cleaning our gutters, inspecting and repairing the area that was leaking. He provided a quote for the type of gutter guards he recommended, along with a clear explanation of why he suggested that particular type. I'm happy to report our roof is in good shape. We will definitely use Ivan again. We felt the quote of $3000 for the gutters was high, but we have nothing to compare it to as we have not yet gotten other quotes.

It went well. Nice to custom-pick the colors of our new gutters. Installation took longer than proposed (three days), but Ivan was a strong worker. He worked into the night, and was clean, courteous, quiet, and professional. We love our new gutters, they look and work great!

Ivan was very professional and punctual. He has several excellent suggestions on aspects of the job based on our problems with old gutters. Overall first rate work.

The service was great. Ivan was a great guy, prompt and professional and worked to get the job done in commendable time frame and provided an extremely good product for a very reasonable price.

Ivan did an outstanding job on the replacement gutters. It was a one day job and he worked throughout the day. I might add that it was a Saturday. The recent storms has shown that the gutters do not leak. Installed 5and quot; gutters and 3X4 downspouts. I opted not to install the leaf guard system. I am looking to replace the siding on my house. I would certainly give Ivan a call to give me an estimate when the time comes to do that.

I read the reviews and chose them based on their great rating and also their worst. I called, left a message and Ivan called me right back. I asked him mainly about the cost, time of completion and the one not so great feedback. I wanted to avoid any issues and get good service. I got great service, even quicker than expected. He cleaned up and also explained all that was done - which is what we agreed upon before work was done. Another positive was that it was not expensive. I plan to use him again and he will do another property for a friend this weekend.

They did an excellent job and I would recommend them. They were very nice and knowledgeable, as well as very timely.

Apparently the big deal was for a discount of $251 off of the whole house being done. I just needed a 25 foot section done, so I was quoted a standard price on that.

The service, and product, were very high quality. My only complaint was that the deal I signed up for was not agreed to because I didn't want the whole house done. I did not see this in the details, and this should have been clear. I'm pretty sure this was not a mistake on my part.

We could not be happier with the workmanship and material quality of the gutters and downspouts Ivan installed. Additionally, he was very prompt and thorough, and removed all old guttering and downspouts. His price, based on estimates from another provider, was very fair. I doubt that I will ever need to have my gutters replaced on this property again. But, if I do, I'll call Ivan to do the job.

Ivan was amazing. He showed me the product at the consultation/estimate and set a date that was only a few weeks away. There was one postponement due to weather; but that was completely reasonable. Ivan worked for two and a half days by himself and did everything at top speed. I couldn't believe he got the job done so quickly and everything was perfect. The gutters were cleaned, repaired and beautiful. During the work Ivan found a rotted part of the facing and replaced it for me with materials I provided. The cost was minimal; but the work was awesome. He even painted it for me; which I didn't expect! I can't say enough good things. Definitely hire these guys if you need work done.

Ivan responded to our call in the middle of a rain storm. Looked over the situation removed debris and showed us a remedy. We scheduled an appointment for him to come back when weather cleared up. He was on time for the Saturday appointment and a very conscientious worker. We have scheduled him to come back to do the same to the back of the house in 2 weeks/weather permitting

Ivan arrived on time and did a thorough job of cleaning. He also advised me about the birds nesting. I have since googled and found that to be a common place problem under solar panels. I have since found a solution to the problem which I shared with Ivan. Ivan advised me to go with the cheaper solution and he will help me fashion the other necessary parts to achieve the same effect. Ivan will be back to install this solution when the weather permits it.

This was a great experience. He takes pride in his work, does an excellent job and tailors his work to what is needed. He was very careful with my landscaping. ;) And he's a very nice person.
